A. TRUE BEAUTY 🎭🧚🏻‍♀️

So wasn't I beautiful,

With the scars and the curves.

And wasn't I everything,

That you wanted and more?

Not that I'm not pretty,

But pretty doesn't give you all.

It doesn't feed the belly

Or questions the world.

I was told I was crazy,

So I asked why that is?

Not why they thought I was crazy,

But what was wrong with it.

Why live life normally,

Cross all t's and dot all i's.

When life isn't about perfection,

It's about dancing even when blind.

So if you teach them something,

Then please teach them this.

To be kind and to love,

Not from outside but from within.

I always found ones that filled my book

he became a sentence

on my mind for a while

he'd caught my eye with his stunning lines

she was a full paragraph

filling in the gaps I liked her a lot

the way she'd laugh and dance around

she was almost it, I knew it

until I met you and I lost it

you were the one I couldn't escape

needles to say, I never tried

because why would I try to fight something

that made me feel so alive

instead of a sentence or a paragraph there

the title of the book you became.
