Encounter

Seo and his newly made friend was in the middle of the room.

The atmosphere suddenly tightened due to the fact that there's three weirdo in the classroom.

When the friend saw his savior by the door, he immediately approached and thanked him.

" I'm Baek, Thank you for saving me! "

Hanja looked at Baek for a second before passing him.

While walking he looked at Seo, music guy, and the delinquent.

" Was he gauging us? " The question that rose in Seo's mind.

Considering that Hanja is a loose canon, it's not unlikely for him to start a fight.

But then again, he got beaten up badly earlier so fighting someone again will be disadvantageous for him.

With no proper recovery from president's brutal techniques, he'll end up getting himself folded if he dares again.

After a long pause, Seo decides to pick the farthest seat in the back as his friend tag along.

Both of them placed their bag on the seats.

Then, a frail teacher enters the classroom.

The teacher was welcomed by pure silence due to certain reasons.

" Are they deciding the hierarchy already? " Seo thinks of this factor as the main cause of silence.

" What's going on? Did someone got into a fight? " He asked.

However, none of them even spoke.

" That's because we're mixed with a bunch of weirdos! " says the girl with a bunch of make-up in her face.

" Shut up, you look like a Geisha. " the delinquent replies.

The geisha girl gasped and hid her face as some of the students laughed at it.

" She's not entirely wrong though, you guys are real weirdo. " a nerd stands up and defend the geisha.

" I'm sure everyone agrees with me. " he started encouraging others to stand up for themselves.

All of the bravado was present until the delinquent slammed the desk.

They all shrieked and the nerd quickly sat down.

Despite of everyone agreeing to their reasoning, it's unlikely that anyone would dare to voice out again.

" Looks like he hold a great authority here. " Seo leaned to his friend.

His friend then nodded.

The teacher sighed and introduced himself to his students.

" That's enough, I'm glad to finally meet everyone. I will be your teacher for the semester and I'd like for everyone to cooperate with me. " he smiled as he arranged the books on his hand by tapping it on the table.

" I can't believe he's composed, considering he's so loss earlier. " Seo who's conflicted earlier, is now relieved.

" You looked happy, something good happened? " Baek asked.

Seo simply smiled and nod to him.

When the introduction were finished, the teacher began writing on the board.

The discussion were simply introduction to their topics to be discussed soon, in the midst of boredom.

Seo noticed a group of students which is deliberately walking slowly in the hallway.

As if they're observing the room for someone.

Was it Baek? Unlikely, he's not someone who would fight.

So, it must be Hanja then? It's probable, considering he's the type of guy that would randomly bite anyone.

Seo while imagining the odds was reminded of a dog as he looked at Hanja.

A sight of a very angry dog, scary.

One of the guys who's walking outside made an eye to eye contact with Seo.

The guy quickly looked away and continued walking.

" Baek, what's after this? " Baek who's busy taking notes passed a small notes to Seo.

Seo reads the note.

" This is a bit fancy. " Seo reads the note.

This note contains a complete schedule of classes, a perfect tool for transfer and new ones.

He then flipped the note to see what's written from behind.

" Empty. " Seo's expression became like a dried sprout after seeing a blank space.

" It's still not done, don't be impatient. " He sighed.

As Baek was stating this, there's a boastful energy in his face.

" I wish the class would end soon. " Seo ducked in the desk to take a nap.

One hour later.

Seo was woken up by a loud bell, when he raised his head–Baek was still writing.

So he decides to talk to him for a bit.

" Still not done? " He asked.

" I was actually just waiting for you. " Seo was a bit surprised to hear that from Baek.

On the other side, a couple of girls were entertaining Hanja since he became a mini celebrity earlier.

But majority seems to avoid him since they saw how much he can do.

The delinquent on the other hand was smoking and playing poker with his friends.

" What a bunch of annoying guys. " Seo says to himself before standing up.

He then tapped on Baek's shoulder to signal him to stand up as well.

" Let's go. " Seo invited his friend to join.

While they both go out, they got another weird encounter with the upbeat guy.

It might look silly because it is but if you observe in fighting sense, he might be good.

Those dance and flexibility might come in handy.

Since the remaining students inside the room were only few, the two decides to eat on the cafeteria.

As both of them reached the far back, Seo felt a presence from behind and quickly looked to check.

" Nothing. That's strange. " He said.

Whoever it is, it's bugging Seo ever since.

He couldn't jump into the conclusion just yet.

Seeing that it's from afar, it makes it easy for someone to blend in and act like they disappeared.

Baek looked at him who was startled by his sudden actions.

" Are you okay? " in his voice shows concern for his friend.

" You've been acting weird lately. " Baek's deduction was spot on.

It's true, Seo's nature this time was incomparable.

The reason remains mysterious as both of them went to the cafeteria together.

Once they're inside, a huge crowd of people talking in the cafeteria blew them away.

They're completely unaware of this possibility at all.

The place was stacked, twice the number you would expect.

Because of this, the two were conflicted if they should pursue or not.

" Should we still? I mean–it's super stacked. " Baek sighed.

Baek backed down to the battlefield and decided to head back.

As he was in motion to turn back–he bumped into something sturdy.

" Ouch! " when he looked up– he almost loses it as someone that towers him was standing still.

The bulky guy gave him a menacing look as Baek tried to not show his shaking.

" What's gonna happen now? " Seo waited patiently.

But something unexpected happened.

The bulky guy simply apologized.

In fact, he even held Baek's stiff shoulders and removes the dust on his shoulder.

" Don't be, I'm the one who isn't cautious. " He smiled.

He then passed Baek and Seo as he merge with the crowd until he was lost in sight.

As both of them leave dumbfounded, a girl suddenly chases them from behind

" Wait! "

The girl was catching her breath as she approach the two.

" Did you just talked to Chong-Sik? "

Baek, impulsively said yes.

" Are you crazy? He could've folded you! " She shouted at Baek.

Seo thinks for a second and revision Chong-Sik's frame.

With a frame like that, you'll come up with a conclusion that he's a bodybuilder or a past MMA fighter.

Furthermore, for a student to even have a body like that.

Not only that but his body is screaming of sturdiness, that's why Baek thought it was a wall.

" It's a good thing he's in good mood. You could've died, you know? " She scolded him like a mother.

" You're talking shit to someone? I think you're the bad person here. " Baek reasoned.

" Anyway, who are you? " Baek asked.

" You can't expect someone to believe you just because you act like that. " He added.

The yellow haired girl scratches her hair furiously.

" Gosh, you're so stupid! " She shouted again.

" Why are you so angry? " Still, Baek fails to get the message.

" You're so dumb, are you? " She looked at him angrily.

" He's currently sits at one of the top five in the school. " Baek's soul left his body as he freezed up.

" I'll tell you more about him, but promise me you'll never associate with him. " she looked really worried as she said those words.

As she continues to convince Baek, Seo looked at one of the corridor sides and felt the familiar gaze he felt earlier.

He ran as fast as he could to reach the corridor but he was too late as the one who watches disappeared.

Baek and the girl followed him afterwards with a shocked expression on their face.

" What's going on? Did you see a ghost? "

Seo looked back and them and shaked his head.

" No, it's probably just a fly. "

The two looked at him confused and began getting worried for Seo's sanity.

The yellow haired girl then passed a paper that's the same type that Baek gave to Seo.

" Huh? Where did you get this? I'm the only one who have a copy paper like this. " Baek looked at the paper.

" It's my number, call me as soon you get out of the class. " The bell rang and she left afterwards leaving the two questioning her actions.

" Hey, wait– " Baek's question wasn't answered as she left quickly.

" Iseul– #3899 " Seo reads the content.

It's the girls name and information.

" So she's our classmate. " He said.

" Ah! I forgot something in the library. " Baek screamed.

" Let's split up for awhile, I'll get something in the library. " Baek panicked and waves his hand before leaving.

Seo was alone in the hallway but after deciding that there's no more place to go, he went back to the classroom.

Seo closes his fist where the paper was given.

In one of the corridors, a lingering voice was heard.

" He almost caught me. "
