Episode 3

“What do you mean?” Savannah got up from his lap and sat down confronting Elijah, “I- I just don’t think this won’t work anymore...You have to focus on your studies more! You can’t even have enough sleep just because you always sneak out at night just to meet me, I feel guilty...I don’t want this to happen but I want you to focus more on your studies, until then when we both graduate we can continue this relationship..” He said as a single tear fell down from his eye,

“D-does this mean, we’re done?...”

Savannah said devastated, Elijah nodded and look down..

“I-i thought we will always be together? ..Didn’t you promise you won’t leave me? Didn’t you promise me! That you would love me! That you will not leave me? Why?” Savannah yelled while tears started streaming down her face,

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. But your studies is more important...Our relationship is getting in the way, we both need some time...”

Elijah replied also devastated as he wipes Savannah’s tears,

“Please understand me babe. I’m so sorry, I won’t break my promises to you, I swear, but for now we need sometime alright? I promise you, I swear on my name I will pursue you back when we both graduated, when I finally can proudly show your parents that I love you so much and I will do anything for you to be mine. I swear.” He added as he moved his face closer to Savannah and kissed her forehead, Savannah didn’t said anything and just cried.. She was sobbing hardly onto Elijah’s chest gripping his shirt tightly, She doesn’t wanna let go of Elijah, Her beloved.

After sometime Savannah stopped crying and forced herself to agree, Elijah felt sorry for breaking their relationship but he have to. He have to do this in order for them to focus on their studies more and when he can finally have something he can show off her family. He promised to himself that when time comes he will definitely pursue her back whatever it takes.

As time goes by, both are heartbroken especially Savannah, she couldn’t accept the fact that their done.. She feel hatred to her parents especially her mother because of what happened, she knows why Elijah did this. Because of her mother’s strict and revile attitude. She started to distant herself from her mother and would always try to ignore her in every possible way. However Ms. Meriam noticed this act of Savannah, she wants to ask her why is she doing this but she always gets ignored and it make her feel bad and irritated, She loves her daughter so much and couldn’t bare this kind of act of his beloved daughter.

Savannah also started to focus on her studies and avoided any distraction to her studies, She hopes that Elijah would keep his promise once they graduated, Her love for him is so great that she would do anything for him, She understands why do Elijah have to do this and she know that she also have to do something to make her parents agree, she have to proudly show something to them and they would eventually let them be together.

Ms. Meriam is still confused and in despair because of her daughter’s sudden behaviour.

Dahil sa trato ni Savannah sa kaniyang ina ay sinubukan itong kausapin ng kaniyang ama ukol sa kung bakit niya ito ginagawa, Ngunit hindi masabi-sabi ni Savannah ang totoo dahil ayaw niya rin namang malaman nila na tumatakas siya sa gabi upang makita lamang si Elijah, Alam niyang pag-nalaman nila ito ay papagalitan lamang siya at lalong pag-hihigpitan. Hindi na pinilit pa ni Mr. David si Savannah na sabihin ang totoo sapagkat naiintindihan naman niya ang ugali ng anak,

“Elise..I know something happened why are you acting like this towards mother...But i just want to say that your mother has gone through pain also, she couldn’t sleep at all thinking of why are you doing this...She feels bad of how you act towards her, She just wants to protect you and give you the best.” Mr. David said calmly as he embraced her daughter in his arms, Savannah feels guilty for doing this but she just want to be with the man she loves..

“I know baby, your sneaking out and goes to meet your boyfriend” He added

Savannah was shocked to hear this, her father knows what she’s doing?.. She asked him surprised

“Papa? Y-you know about that!??”,

“Of course baby, why would I not? I always see you go out with your boyfriend, Elijah. ”
