When I saw the comment about the song Rockabye, it reminded me of my mother. She was not accepted by the society when my dad married her and brought her home. Just because she was from a different community. She went through a lot, and always tells me to look out for myself. She taught me that people are not always what they seem to be. Be it your teacher who is always smiling and kind in front of you, or your classmates families who seem to adore you. No one is what they show. If not for my strong belief in my parents, I would still be in a delusion thinking all the people around me are sweet and with good intentions. Mothers are really the embodiment of strength when it comes to their children. Protecting their children from all the gits and glamour that blinds them in an illusion of happiness, when in reality it's just a dirty whirlpool of hate, envy, jealousy, and bad intentions.
