I entered Seokjin's Cafe, bell ringing over the door, and was greeted by the manager, my good friend Kim Seokjin.
"jisoo!" Jin called to me, bracing his hands on the counter. "It's great to see you, but have you been fired again?"
"Soon to be, old man," I corrected. "Though he nearly tasted the heels of my shoes."
"Damn," Jin snorted. He pointed to the coffee machine. "The usual?"
"Yep."
"Coming right up," he announced, turning to make me my order.
I went forward the cafe, a cozy place with cream coloured walls and mahogany tables and chairs. Fresh flowers centred each tables, giving out a lush scent.
I sat down on my table, a window at my left. I fingered the rose petals as I waited for Jin to make my coffee.
I looked around the room, seeing a few couples drinking and chuckling with each other, an old woman slurping at her tea.
I felt someone's stare but ignored it when Jin came over to my table and handed me my coffee. "Black coffee, no sugar," Jin declared.
I thanked him, sipping it, and contained a **** that nearly slipped out of me. It was ******* delicious.
I felt the same feeling again, and looked around the room to see who was staring at me.
My eyes fell upon a stranger, and I
nearly choked on my coffee. He was outright staring at me, but I
couldn't help but stare right back.
He wore a black face mask, but his hair was a mess of dark blond curls. He wore a black leather jacket and ripped jeans, black boots tapping against the floor.
The most enchanting feature was his eyes. Those eyes, dark and hypnotising. had captured me for a good few minutes.
I was struck dumb. God above, who is this man?
Suddenly realising that staring is actually considered rude, I quickly broke the intense gaze, instead looking out of the window, exposing the skyline of the city.
I took a sip of my coffee, savouring the bitter taste. I dared another glance at the handsome stranger.
He was still looking at me.
His eyes were widened slightly. I casually looked at myself to see if I had any stains on myself. Do I look that awful?
I went back to admiring the view of the window, when I heard footsteps nearing me. I looked straight to find the same stranger taking a seat in front of me.
I was about to choke again. I knew that beneath that mask, he's going to be the most beautiful man I'd ever seen. I was tempted, but contained my rude desire.
Instead I said, "Excuse me?"
He didn't say anything. Only his eyes on
Me.
Okay, this may be getting a little bit weird. "Uh, sir, may I help you?"
The man suddenly perked up. "I'm really sorry, but I couldn't help staring at you."
His voice. His low, sultry voice is familiar. I mentally shook my head. "Um, is there something on my face?"
The man chuckled slightly. "Oh, not at all," he purred. He then rested his face in his hand. "I've..." He stopped himself, then tried again. "Have you ever considered being a model?"
"Well, I actually am one, but it's a struggle, to be honest."
"I see," he only said. The man reached inside his pocket and took out a pen and paper. He scribbled something onto it, then held it out to me. "If you ever need a job."
I looked at the note intently before taking it. He then took out some won notes and set it on the table. "The coffee's on me "he declared and
Walked past me, exiting the cafe.
I turned my head round, watching him go. He stopped at the entrance and looked over his shoulder.
"I didn't catch your name," he said as he gripped the handle of the door.
"That's because I didn't share it."
A light chuckle sounded from him. "Good point."
I thought for a moment before answering. "jisoo ."
"jisoo," he repeated. His voice made my name sound like a song. "I hope to see you again."
He didn't wait for his answer, exiting the cafe.
I was dumbfounded. What on earth was that? WHO on earth is that?
I looked down at the note he gave me. On it was written a number and an address.
