Chapter 2 First House in The Kingdom Part 1

Returning to the game, I was mid-waking up and the avatar world character started to cramp as it was like the real world I slowly stretched my back to fix my back to its previous state.

"Young lord, It's already morning" shouted Melati outside the tent not opening the tent's entrance as it was impolite for her to walk in.

"Ah, yeah... Okay, I'll be there" I said before standing from my bed and slowly putting on my clothes.

Finished putting on my clothes, I quickly walked outside the tent finding Melati who was cooking breakfast while others were already on their chair waiting and even chatting with each other.

"Young lord, you already awake," Bambang said with a wide smile.

"Young lord" Jono as he hit Bambang's side before slightly bowing toward me.

"Ouch, ah yeah," Bambang said before also slightly bowing down toward me.

"Stop, don't bow at me like that. Just be comfy with me, I don't like being called that which sounds stiff to me... It sounds like a hassle" I say with a nervous tone.

"That's... Even so, you are our lord, we can disregard such conduct as it is disrespectful" Jono said as he raised his head to look at me.

"Yeah, but you all are my first subordinate in here so... I can't do that," I said looking at the two with nervousness.

"At least, you can do it when we are bigger at least a community or small city people at the very least" I added before looking at Jono.

There was a moment of silence as Jono processed what just happened and understood what his young lord wanted before he sighed.

"... Okay, if that is what you wish then. I could only oblige what you instructed" Jono says knowing fully would be useless to argue with me.

"Well, should we start summoning? Since it's already that time?" I said to them as they were about to sit in their chair while Melati walked to serve some breakfast.

"Understood young lord," says Jono before he takes a wooden bowl with some of yesterday's leftover meat soup from Melati.

I walk to the front of the fire pit and a notification for summoning appears again in front of my eye, I put my hands on the yes button.

The same event occurred as the summoning gate appeared on top of the fire pit which in turn caused three light balls to appear from it as two white-colored and red-colored balls to appear.

After finishing summoning what appeared in front of me was someone I was not expecting to summon, a young man whose face was larger and fiercer than any man but it was not someone that isn't known in Indonesian history as the person on the question was the most famous general known for its famous quote "sworn oath"

"Lamun huwus kalah Nusantara isun amukti palapa, lamun kalah ring Gurun, ring Seran, Tanjung Pura, ring Haru, ring Pahang, Dompo, ring Bali, Sunda, Palembang, Tumasik, samana isun amukti palapa" which could be translated as "If I have subdued the entire Archipelago under the rule of Majapahit, I will break my fast. If I beat Gurun, Seram, Tanjung Pura, Haru, Pahang, Dompo, Bali, Sunda, Palembang, Tumasik, then I will break my fast"

The man who swore such an oath appeared in front of me, he looked around with a baffled look plastered on his before turning surprised at his surroundings when he landed his eye on me as he appraised me before smiling widely as he was seeing his old friend.

"Well, young lad. Never again would I expect to serve another lord as I also once served my friend's daughter before his demise" Gajah Madah laughed loudly after saying his part.

The two behind him were mostly male one was a civilian and to other was a soldier who could be Gajah Madah's adjutant, he gave his salute as he was still using his spear even though he didn't have it while the other person nervously laughed as he put his hand on the back of his neck and slightly lowered his head as if giving his respect to me.

Gajah Madah who noticed it knew the other party was a civilian and ignored it since his lord didn't rebuke nor did I feel insulted, that's different from the soldier who summoned along with Gajah Madah as he gave a sharp eye towards the civilian but was stopped when I raise my hand motioning him to stop in which he did so.

"Pardon young lord, If I was a bit intrusive," he said as he lowered his head in apology.

"The young lord is a kind person, he doesn't wish to be strict with anyone who becomes his subordinate," Said Melati as she appeared with a couple of food in her hands.

"Even so, ma'am it's not quite right" The person in question turns his head and then looks at Melati.

"We also felt like that... But the person in question dislikes being given such treatment" Says Melati as she put down the supply of food.

"Ah, yeah..." the guy in question looks surprised and glances away in nervousness.

"Well, it's not surprising if you do that since... You are a soldier before, what is your name?" says Gajah Madah not knowing the name of the soldier in front of him.

"I'm Bagus, sir... Your average soldier in the Majapahit army" says the soldier.

"Bagus, I see... I'm your general. Gajah Mahda" says Gajah Madah proudly as he puffs his chest before laughing loudly.

Everyone was silent for a moment before sounds of surprise were heard throughout the camp.

"What?!!" they all shouted except Joko and Gajah Madah as they both stared at each other acknowledging.

"I'm in front of the legendary mighty Gajah Madah, this... This is an Honor" says Bagus as he quickly kneeled in mixed excitement and nervousness while looking at the ground.

"Stand soldier," says Gajah Madah as crosses his arms while glancing at Bagus who is kneeling on the ground towards him.

"Sir?" Bagus slowly stands from his place before turning to look at Gajah Madah.

"I'm not a General anymore for now but at the very least You and I serve one, lord. Hope you keep up your good work as you once served the Majapahit Empire" Gajah Madah said as he laughed before raising an eyebrow and with a wry smile towards Bagus.

"Yes, Gen-" Bagus was mid-saying before getting cut off by Gajah Madah.

"I'm no longer a General, Soldier" Gajah Madah says as he gazes at him intensely.

"That's... I can't say your name directly, sir... It's how I pay respect to the Hero" Bagus says without him looking at Gajah Madah as he glances away in awareness a couple of times.

"I know Bagus Kid, I was like you once... respecting someone who is their idol and admired from afar" Gajah Madah Said with looks different from before as he was reminded of his past self.

"The young lord would also forgive you since he's quite forgiving to such thing, Ain't that Right? Young lord" said Gajah Madah with a wide smile as if knowing my personality.

I was glancing at him before sighing as it was unexpected by me, well it wasn't really out of expectation since he was formerly a general who led the former great Majapahit kingdom to a great empire state that spanned almost every part of the archipelago until his untimely death.

"You're reading me that much, Gajah Mahda even though you're that older than me but you can easily read one that simple," I said with a heavy but relaxed tone.

"Well, even though you are our lord it's still not something beyond what I can understand," he said without holding back laughing.

"Anyway just do your task like you usually do then" as I nudge them to work as guards of the campsite from any threatening nearby wildlife.

"Yes, Young lord" They answered while he bowed slightly before slowly leaving to guard the camp perimeter.

"What about me, sir?" asked the last person who was still together with Joko.

"What are your name and job?" I asked while turning around to look at him.

"My name? Ah, Pardon me, Young lord... My name is Aditya. I'm always been a craftsman since I remembered" he said with a wry smile while lightly bowing his head toward me.

"Ah?!! That's what we're looking for" shouted a female voice on another side of Me and Aditya as we turned our heads around and looked at the source of the voice.

It was Melati as she put both of her hands on each other and then walked to where Aditya and I were, she felt that her wish going to be fulfilled as she put both of his hands on Aditya which made him blush in surprise and confusion.

"You're a craftsman, right?" she said happily while eager to hold his hand as if it were her savior's hand.

"Er, Yeah... I am" he says knowing he couldn't refuse nor was he can ignore a maiden's plea in front of him.

"Then can you help make some beds and the house for us? It's not comfortable for me to keep sleeping in a tent with how cold it is at night and the tent always flaps open because of the wind blowing it causing the wind to enter the tent" she says without stopping as it was very important for her livelihoods.

"Can you build a house for me first before the other since it is always cold at night, Young Lord is kind that he would gladly do so before his well-being, especially for a maiden like me" as she added more to the matter.

"That's..." says Aditya as he glances at me, not knowing what to say or answer.

"You can do that, Aditya I don't mind much she's as she mentioned herself that she is a maiden," I say to him without making any expressions after sighing lightly.

"Yay, the Young lord is kind," says Melati as she raises both of her hands in the air.

Both I and Aditya looked at each other as he quickly bowed and opened his mouth.

"Then I shall take my leave, I will survey the place that is good enough to be built as the house," he said before slowly walking away.

Aditya left both Joko and Melati alone as he left for the tent warehouse to find some tools and nails for the new furniture and building, Melati who was beside me turned her head to look at me before also lowering her head and slowly walking away to continue her work.
