Chapter 1 – January 1st –7th

1st - Kim Seokjin: Fireworks

Sitting in the park watching the fireworks explode, a chorus of ‘ooh’s and aah’s’. You felt something collide into your back. There was a loud ‘Woah’ and is was all knees and elbows as a tall lanky figure. Collided into you too busy watching the pyrotechnics to see where he was going. His top half fell forward head over heels and with a ‘Omph’ he had tumbled landing in the middle of your picnic blanket and onto your lap. His eyes locked on yours, the colorful sparks of the fireworks reflecting in his dark orbs. His thick blush pink lips parted and he delivered a very corny line about having fallen for you.

2nd - Min Yoongi: Hangover Soup

You however were hunched over a bowl of bean sprout soup trying to chase a hangover. The shop was busy all the tables were filled, a Young man in all black looking equally as tired and done with the world as you were gestured to the seat his hands shaking at the weight and effort it took to hold the tray. You nodded but quickly stopped feeling nauseous and flicked your hand towards your spare seat. It soon became a ritual that he would join you whenever you both happened to find yourself at the store. Never speaking a word. You found yourself coming when you weren’t hungover wanting to see him again and you suspected he did too.

3rd - Jung Hoseok: Scarf

The train was busy and Hoseok had a long way to travel, unfortunately that left him standing for almost two hours. He finally found a seat beside a very beautiful young woman who was rugged up and looking stylish in a cute beanie scarf and mitten set. He walked over watching her little boots swinging back and forth while listening to music. He didn’t know when he fell asleep and didn’t feel him fall onto your shoulder. He didn’t know he had been shivering. But when he woke, he saw you leaving the train but you weren’t wearing your scarf. He looked at the seat wondering if you had left it, but felt the fabric around his neck and covering part of his face. He could smell a sweet perfume and buried his cold and slightly pink nose a little deeper into the warm fabric.

4th - Kim Namjoon: Candle

You were wanting to take a relaxing bath and so you decided to light a small candle beside the tub it was a delicious pumpkin and marshmallow scent. That you had received on your birthday the year previous. Everything was going great, you had music playing and started to fall asleep, until the smoke alarms went off. A small hand towel had caught fire. Panicking you climbed out of the tub and carefully ripped the towel from the hook and threw it into the bathtub to put it out. The door was thrown open and you stood there frozen looking up at your neighbor through the smoke. He blushed turning away gesturing towards you. “You are not wearing anything”

5th - Park Jimin: Bird

Your grandfather had a bird Sunri that used to sit on his shoulder while he would sing. You were afraid of it the idea that the Sunri could peck you. When your grandfather died you took the bird, but it was never the same. It wasn’t gentle or loving anymore and you were genuinely afraid of him. You were cleaning out the cage and Sunri slipped out and flew out the window. Horrified you almost launched yourself out the window to hear the sweetest song coming from the balcony across from yours. The buildings were you lived were so close you could easily step onto someone else’s balcony. There perched on a very beautiful young mans shoulder was Sunri, listening to his angelic voice.

6th - Kim Taehyung: Vanilla Bean

With a container full of cupcakes leftover from the event you were catering. You began walking down the street, heading to the nearby museum to meet with an old friend. Taehyung was a tour guide he could tell you everything you would need to know about many paintings and sculptures. However he tended to get distracted and would actually start talking about more abstract things like how the painting makes him feel rather than actual facts from the artist’s life. You loved him and his quirky way of thinking, perhaps more than you should. The way he smiled at you when he saw you, how excited he got when he saw you had brought cupcakes, or the appreciative sounds he made when he tasted the vanilla bean frosting.

7th - Jeon Jungkook: Old Rock

There was this young man who wore all black and would browse the store almost every afternoon. He would flick through the CD’s and records for hours twisting his earrings in thought between two sometimes three choices. But every few weeks like clock work he would make his decision and purchase the CD of his choice and give you a cute smile which pushed the apples of his cheeks in that special way. It had been more than a few weeks and he was still stuck on a decision, you stepped out from behind the camera and peeked over his shoulder.

“I like this one better, the music tells a story and is super I don’t know. It just makes you feel nostalgic in a good wait and makes your heart beat a little faster. Where as this one is kind of a little chaotic and hard to get your head around not to say it doesn’t grow on you but it’s hard to really get into it every time you listen to it” His eyes were wide and a pink glow had started to creep up his neck and blooming against his ears.
