Amy raised her brows. Deep down, her mother knew the reason why she left, of all people. The conflict between her siblings had gotten out of hand, and she can't do anything about it.

The Summoning. Also called The Red String, or the rule unbroken.
The red string is a form of message meant for summoning commoners that live within the Nightcrow borders. Even a Nightcrow family can be summoned.
Only a member of the Nightcrow family can give this message. Family members must cast a vote before a summons is made to ensure it is not abused and is taken seriously.
