Easy Love

While looking at the mirror Liana had smile on her. Ruby noticed it and wondered about the reason of it.

" Who got you smiling like that ? " she teased her

" Just... someone you disapprove. "

Ruby's face had a series of emotions from shock to concerned. " Professor Tian... "

" Tonight's our date. " She boasted like it's her accomplishment

Liana disliked her dissatisfied reaction " You should be happy for me. "

" I don't know. This relationship dynamic is just...wrong. He's your Professor, older than you. You're the submissive one. And you don’t even know him. " Her points were logical. She's trying to guide her best friend.

But Liana is too blind to see that. " You're being judgemental. If he was a guy my age you wouldn’t have any problem. I don’t Care if he's 7 years older. Don't act like he's ancient. I've a Connection with him. So, you’ve to tolerate him. "

At Ming Residence :

Jace was flipping through a business magazine reading about his Dad Justin. His mom Ariana came with a bright smile after seeing this scene.

" Isn't your Dad handsome ? " He looked at her surprisingly when she caught him.

" You still love Dad ? " His serious question made Ariana laugh.

" Does he love you ? " He continued his questioning while flipping the pages.

" When kids ask about their parents love life it means that they need advice about their own life. " Jace got irritated

Ariana still found the situation funny " Your Dad may look like a playboy but he wasn’t. He was serious about love. He first approached me. Even after our fights he didn’t gave up and pursued me. "

Jace muttered " That seems pathetic. " With a determined look he asked " Were you his first love ? "

Her hearty face fall down and she felt uncomfortable. The history of Justin and Lily were unknown to the kids. They were each others first love. How Lily got trapped by Chen and lost feelings for Justin. How he used Ariana to make Lily jealous then falling for her.

" They get True Love. You'll get it too just like your dad. " She strokes his hair

" I don’t wanna be like Dad. " He stopped reading the magazine

" You're different. You’ve lots of lady 'friends'. " She teased him

" Mom...I was never serious with any of them. "

" You were very reserved when you were younger. You didn’t had any female friends except Ruby and...Liana. "

He looked with wide eyes when she emphasised on Liana

" We kinda shipped you two. Lily and I are besties. It would be fun if our kids got together. Also you used to like her a lot. "

" Used to... "

" But she's so pretty. Like the splitting image of her mom. Normally daughter takes her looks from mothers and sons from fathers. Look at you...like young Justin. "

" Won't that bother you ? " His dark eyes confused Ariana.

" If me and Liana looks like Dad and Aunt Lily. When we date... it'll remind everyone of young Justin...and Lily. "

Her face frightened " Jace... " She was worried how he knew about them and why he's so bothered it..

Date Night :

Liana got ready wearing a elegant red dress.

While she was leaving Lily stopped her. It was obvious she was going on a date.

" I'm going out. "

" I can see. But where ? "

" To dine. "

Lily was getting annoyed " Stop being vague. "

" Mom, You give me no space. "

" Just say who are you going with ? "

Liana sighed in anger. She can't say that she's going with her professor. She also can't say Ruby's name since she went out with her parents.

She said confidently " With Jace. " Lily didn’t mind it.

Liana was shocked that how simply she agreed for Jace. And wondered if they were together her life would easy.

She reached the restaurant early. Tian didn’t arrived at. With nervousness she retouched her makeup and texted Tian informing that she was here.

When the waiter came she ordered the food thinking Tian in a minute.

30 minutes later...

The food came but Tian didn’t. She again texted him but he wasn’t responding. It wasn’t a wrong number since she got it from the office room. Every possibility ran through her head from traffic, illness and accident but the possibility of Tian ditching her didn’t came.

1 hour later...

The waiter asked about her date. She never felt this embarrassed. She made a excuse and kept asking to reheat the food to make sure Tian gets warm food.

Everytime the door opened she hoped to see Tian but it wasn’t. Her morale was getting down. She looked at her warm food getting cold multiple times. But Tian didn’t came...

3 hours later...

Liana started pitying herself. But then... Tian appeared casually in a grey hoodie. He didn’t had the intention to come on the date.

But Liana got excited and smilingly offered him a seat as if it was normal to make her wait hours with no explaination.

Tian just stood there judging her.

" You don't like this place. "

He rolled his eyes " I came to see if you were still here. I thought you won't be so pathetic to be here for hours but I was wrong. "

" You...intentionally stood me up... "

" Don’t blame your misconception on me. "

Liana looked down for a minute. " Have you eaten dinner ? "

He scoffed " You're so empty headed. You lived like a rich princess, right ? Never been denied. "

" You hate rich people. "

" Just the obnoxious ones..."

" Should we go to a cheap restaurant then... "

" YOU and I can't never happen... "

Liana got up " You don’t get it. We're inevitable. You're trapped by me. "

Her statement made him angry " Your lack of respect to me and yourself is a turn off. "

" The entire day you thought about me. As the time passed you were debating. Is she there waiting ? Should I go...or not ? " She went to leave

" You're delusional... "

She smiled at him " Goodbye... "

Tian stood for a minute since she affected him. He went out looking for her. She was walking defeatedly with a bag of food with her to the homeless shelter.

Tian was walking with her on the other sidewalk. It was late at night. And she was walking alone with no fear. He went to approach her but someone else did too.

Liana looked up to see... Jace. He was panting like he came hurriedly " Let's go...home. "

She felt a warm comfort and entered his car taking his hand.
