FOOD TASTES GOOD WHEN YOU ARE NOT THE ONE PAYING

Hikari parked the car at an expensive restaurant as expected by Takahashi . It was a restaurant with high star rating and was popular among the folks for it's savoury food.

" I refuse to go . " He made his intentions clear.

..."Oh , is that so . Well , you don't actually need to . Your wallet is already with me ."...

She smiled at him which send shocks of electricity throughout his body. He quickly checked his pockets but they had no Trace of his wallet.

..." Give it back , you cunning fox. " He tried to snatch it from her hands but she evaded ....

..." No will do . You are so naive my friend . Now a days no one carry cash with them except you. " Hikari copied the daintiness of the girl they meet earlier....

She knew he didn't like to pay through cards and carried money for personal use . It was his weakness and she planned to take advantage of it . This was her revenge plan.

Takahashi looked like the person who has lost all his belongings to a storm and left with the only clothes he had on his body.

..." Let's go . " Hikari was happy. It was time for her revenge. Takahashi looked haggard ....

They entered the restaurant and seated near the window. Hikari ordered almost everything listed on the menu . The wrinkles on Takahashi face grew in number with each order. The food was expensive itself . looking at her , ordering everything would result in a hefty bill for sure.

..." Are you hungry from ages ?" He asked her impatiently ....

" You can say so " Her reply made him angry.

" Now , now don't be angry and enjoy the food as food is the best medicine for sorrow. It is also brought by your money so you can double enjoy it . " She was not affected at all by the missiles of glares been projected at her.

..."As expected of a restaurant with high star rating , the food was simply delicious. "...

She complimented the food as they asked for the bill. Takahashi took the bill with shivering hands and the amount written on it made his soul fly away. He paid the bill and when taking the amount from his wallet , it was similar to his life being sucked out of him. . He felt his weight decrease by several Kg .

...*My precious hard earned money . Don't worry , i will avenge you for sure . *...

He cried inwardly , eating away his heart in sorrow.

Looking at his state, Hikari felt satisfaction in her heart .

...* he won't mess with me anymore, and if he wanted to , he will give it a thought over thousands of times.*...

Takahashi guessed her thoughts and also promised to do the same in his heart.

Hikari glanced at Takahashi . He was paying the bill. She exited the restaurant and examined the surrounding while waiting for him sitting in the chair that were put outside the restaurant for receiving customers who liked to eat in open air. It was a fine day and there was crowd outside.

A little boy running frantically tripped and landed on the floor , straight on his face . She quickly moved over to him. His nose had started bleeding and his knees were scratched . The loud brawls of the boy , made her deaf for a moment. She examined his wounds . They were nothing serious.

She hugged and patted the little boy to make him calm ,then asked a nearby waiter for some tissues and bandages which were quickly passed to her. She wiped the nose of the boy and put bandages on his scratches.

..." There , that should do it " She smiled and took the boy in arms....

..." Men don't cry over small injuries. Are you not a real man ?" She engaged the boy in conversation to divert his attention....

..." Do men not feel pain ?" He asked her ....

He was unhappy over the fact of not being a real man as he was feeling pain right now and crying which were not the characteristics of a men.

..." No , they do but they don't make a fuss of it. . "...

...She looked amused by the kid question to justify himself for being a real man....

Thus ruffled his hair .

...* How soft , just like a cotton candy. smell nice too. I wish I can do it everyday. *...

..." Don't do that . You ruined my hair "....

He shoved her hand away and puffed his cheeks like a hamster in unhappiness.

..." What a grumpy little gentlemen" She hugged him tightly almost squashing him....

..." You are choking me ." He shouted loudly attracting the bystanders....

Takahashi paying the bill , looked over . He found Hikari hugging a boy over 5 years old. He was dressed nicely in an expensive suit , giving aura of a serious gentlemen .

*He by no means is an ordinary kid , judging from his demeanor. Must be a young master of a wealthy family. What has this girl gotten herself into. What a trouble maker.*

He sighed and walked over to them.

..." Hikari " He called out to her....

Hikari turned around at her name . Seeing Takahashi , she walked up to him in no time.

..." Isn't he super cute " She rubbed her cheeks against the kid . She really liked kids and it was prominent from her behavior....

Passerby hear her exciting voice and looked at them. They found a heartwarming scene , a cute boy with puffed cheeks in arms of a girl . The girl wore formal attire , her hair erected in a bun . Even with no makeup on , her face glowed and with the gentle smile on her face , she was simply stunning. They blushed at her sight .

...*This girl , she calls me a flirt . Look at her now , stealing hearts of people without knowing. Such innocence , I clearly am no match for her .* Takahashi thought ....

He glared fiercely at the blushing faces and put his arm around her shoulder. They coward off to their destination hurriedly.

She was still busy with the kid , unaware of what happened.

..." Leave him alone , will you ?"...

...He saw the annoyed expression of the boy and asked her carelessly. The kid clearly didn't like being treated like a child....

..." If you say so . where are your parents kiddo?"...

She asked the kid . Takahashi was astonished by her quick agreement.

..."I can go on my own . Just put me down ."...

He had enough of her nonsense.

..."This means you sneak out , didn't you?" The kid flinched at her correct guess....

..."Well Takahashi , we can't abandon a child . We have to find his guardian and hand him over "....

She told Takahashi and hold the kid tightly who wanted to slip away . He was upset with her suggestion.

..."It's obvious that you want to spend some more time with him. No need to use such excuses. "...

Takahashi had no intention of playing the role of mother Teresa . They were to report to work from tomorrow and there was no time to dawdle . They were just here for lunch and to discuss how to proceed with the mission. But looking at her childish acts now, only the former goal can be achieved in this limited amount of time.

..." You know me " She smiled at him....

Takahashi also smiled . * this girl , she can't be helped. *

..." Hey, you Mr ! tell your girlfriend to let me go. You both can flirt later." He didn't want to be a third wheel ....

"He/She is not my boyfriend/girlfriend" They denied simultaneously.

..." Do you take me for a little kid who doesn't know anything about relationships?" He wore a serious expression....

..."Then I will consult you for any assistance concerning relationship" .She was amused by his words and ' knew it all' expression ....

..." Are you making fun of me " the little one was enraged ....

..." How dare I , my cutie ". She kissed him on cheek which let him blushed instantly. He was going to counterattack but was interrupted by someone ....

..."Young master , there you are ." A group of bodyguards flocked to him ....
