The Apocalypse: Chapter 4 " A Painful Sight"

We stayed in the same room for another night as we decided that we should keep moving. The next morning everyone prepared theirselves as no one knows what could happen once we step out of the door. Everyone grabbed their weapons as were going to go out. I opened the door and peeked if our path our clear and it was so we formed a line and moved quietly. We were on the second floor so we had to go down through the escalators which was occupied with a whole lot of zombies. Then suddenly there was a huge explosion outside and all zombies that was at the escalators ran towards the explosion.

So we took that chance to go down.

When we reached the ground floor we were near the grocery.

"I think we should get more supplies before going out now that we're here." Miara suggested.

"I agree." Joseph replied.

So we rushed to the grocery quietly. The grocery looked safe so I told everyone to go grab supplies and gather near the cashier within 15 minutes.

"Everyone be careful!" I told them.

Everyone quickly went to grabbed supplies.

Joseph and Jamester went together while the girls and Stephen were together. I went alone to get some water supplies. The water supplies were placed near a door which I think was the grocery manager's office. I didn't bother going in as I was alone. After i grabbed some water supplies I went to look for some matches in case we needed fire. While I was walking to find the matches, a guy kicked the door open then he saw me and asked for help. He told me that he and his friend were seperated. His friend was still inside because they were attacked by one zombie. So I rushed inside with the guy to help his friend. As we went to the room where his friend was I saw the zombie trying to open a closet so I quickly bashed it in its head with my hammer and it went down. I continued hitting its head to be sure that it was did not move.

After bashing the zombie, a guy came out from the closet and it was actually the friend of the guy I met earlier. He said when the zombie attacked them he immediately ran inside the closet to protect himself. I told them that I was with a group and they could join us if they wanted to.

"Hey, I'm Josaiah thanks for helping my friend but I think we're better of with just the two of us." The guy who asked for help said.

"I think it's better of we join them Josaiah. We have better chances of winning if there are more of us." The guy I saved replied.

While they were discussing if they were gonna join us I was looking at the both of them. I was checking if they had bite marks.

" we can't just trust strangers Sherwin..." Josaiah told the guy I saved.

So the name of the guy that I saved was actually Sherwin.

"He saved me and I think that's enough for us to trust him." Sherwin replied.

Josaiah went on silent mode.

"Hi I'm Sherwin thanks for saving me. We have decided that we are going to join your group." Sherwin said.

"That's good to hear the more of us the merrier." I replied.

Sherwin looked at Josaiah with a sarcastic smirk.

While we were about to go out from the room they told we could escape through the delivery area which was just about a three minutes walk from where we were.

Our group got bigger and I was happy about it but will it last? It has only been 3 days but for now we are all what we have for each other. We are now family. That was all I was thinking about while we were walking towards the grocery store.

When I opened the door I ran quickly as I can. I ran with teary eyes as I saw Joseph and Stephen holding back some zombies and the girls crying for someone lying down on the floor. As I got nearer, my adrenaline rose and my heart beat got faster as the person who was down was actually my oldest friend, Jamester.
