Leaving to buy clothes

Liu Fei sighed and spent the next hour to get the two to calm down. After finally stopping the two's crazed cuteness hunt, they finally sat down calmly.

"I'll go make breakfast, the person who dropped us here was kind enough to have food in the fridge and the citizenship cards for each of us" Liu Fei said as he passed the cards to the other three.

Lan Du and Hou Tian stared at it whilst Zhi Min merely tucked it away as he couldn't really see it at all. After a few minutes, the smell of crispy bacon and eggs drifted into their noses.

"Wah, Liu Fei, you can cook?" Lan Du exclaimed

Liu Fei who was in the kitchen smiled

"I have a sister to take care of, of course I can cook, you said you had a foster daughter, shouldn't you know how to cook as well?" He asked as he started serving the food

Lan Du sighed

"I wish, my mother's genetics overpower my ability to learn, I can't cook even the most basic things, the only thing I don't mess up is instant noodles" Lan Du said bitterly

"That makes no sense!" Liu Fei exclaimed

"Heh, if only that was true" Lan Du muttered

They then heard Hou Tian snicker as he wore a smug look on his face.

"I have a daughter so I naturally can cook" He said with a smug smile

Lan Du instantly had the urge to beat his face in, but held it back after thinking about Hong Xing, the red haired little girl in Hou Tian's phone.

"You can cook? Alright, from now on, you're in charge of cooking" Liu Fei didn't spare a single second to drop the role of cooking onto Hou Tian after finding out he could cook.

"Hey!" Hou Tian was immediately triggered

As they were arguing, they all heard the front doorbell ring, Lan Du walked out to see what it was, but when she opened the door, there was no one there. She looked down and saw an envelope.

She picked it up and opened it up, but after reading the content, her expression changed

"Who was it?" Liu Fei walked over and asked

Lan Du turned to him

"Forget breakfast, we need a group discussion" Lan Du said with a serious face

Liu Fei has never seen such expression from Lan Du so he knew it must be serious. He nodded and gathered the other two around the couch.

Lan Du sat down and held the envelope in her hand.

"The so call author just sent us a letter, it's the rules of the 'game' apparently" Lan Du said calmly as she began reading out the content.

"Hello my four comedy stars, by now, you should have gotten to know one another there are several rules to this...what should I call this? Ah, I'll call it a game, in this game, your final goal is to reach the one billion views for your variety show about your daily lives, naturally, I'm not evil and cold-hearted, so every time you complete a small goal such as first view and so on, I will grant one person one wish, of course, the wish does not include leaving this world or changing any of your characteristics such as Zhi Min's gender swap, Hou Tian, Lan Du, this next two rules are for you two, you're not allowed to use your brute strength to earn money, your income must come from the variety show, I will provide daily income for daily necessities so you guys won't starve, ah, the wish includes bringing people to this world, but only one person at a time....have fun"

Lan Du looked up to see the grim expressions of everyone.

"Can't believe that b*stard said I can't use my strength to earn money, I was just about to go out today to earn some change from wrestling and boxing" Hou Tian grumbled

Lan Du rolled her eyes

"First off, we need to get some new clothes, Zhi Min only has his school uniform, I only have my military outfit, Hou Tian, I'm not even going to begin with yours, as for Liu Fei...you're just fine" Lan Du said calmly

"Heck no, this robe is made by my wife, I'm not taking it off even if you kill me" Hou Tian said

Lan Du's eyes became cold

"Oho? You're going to disobey me? Should I tear off that robe bit by bit or will you be obedient and take it off like a good boy" Lan Du wore a twisted smile that frightened not only Hou Tian, but also Liu Fei.

"EEP! I knew it, women are scary!" Hou Tian exclaimed

Lan Du rubbed her chin when she saw this reaction

"Hou Tian, could you be...a henpecked husband?" Lan Du asked with a completely serious face

Hou Tian froze...

"Sh-Shut up!" He shouted at her and cuddled up in a fetal position.

Lan Du suddenly smirked, her expression couldn't be any more terrifying, as if a wolf has just found a baby rabbit to toy around with. Liu Fei wondered how this will end up in the future, he can only hope that these two don't end up killing each other.

"Alright, eat up and we're leaving to get some proper clothes, this house gave use food in the fridge, but left no clothes in the closet, damned author" Lan Du grumbled

They all ate, but after a few seconds of thinking, they realised they had no money. Well, Lan Du had plenty, but those are money from a different world, how can she use them?

After searching through their personal possessions, Liu Fei pulled out a golden watch and Hou Tian pulled out a gold bar which stunned them all.

"What? I carry a gold bar around to look rich when I traverse the mortal realms, I have four more bars, so we should have enough to buy us all some proper clothes and equipments for the show" Hou Tian said with a proud expression.

"Take it out sooner" Liu Fei said as he took back his own watch and wore it on his wrist

"What? We're not using your watch?" Hou Tian gave him a disdainful look

Liu Fei huffed

"That was the only gift I got from my sister" He spat back

Hou Tian was surprised, he looked down and fiddled with his fingers.

"S-Sorry" He said hurriedly

Lan Du observed his reaction and thought for a bit

"Hou Tian...do you happen to have a sister?" Lan Du asked

Hou Tian paused

"H-How'd you know?" He exclaimed

"Well, your eyes often soften up whenever Liu Fei mentions his own sister, so I thought you probably have one as well" Lan Du replied

Hou Tian smiled bitterly

"Was I that obvious? Well...I 'had' a sister" He said calmly

They all fell silent, now it was Lan Du's turn to apologise

"So sorry, I didn't think about that" Lan Du said hurriedly

"Hahahaha, don't worry, but from your reaction, you probably have a sister as well" Hou Tian laughed, trying to break the awkwardness...but...

"Well...same as you, I 'had' a sister" Lan Du replied awkwardly

Everyone fell silent...this was just getting worse by the second, Zhi Min didn't know what to do. He looked around and reached out his hand in a random direction.

"Ack!" His hand bumped into the door and he let out a painful, but cute sound.

Everyone turned over, and all the tension was turned to Zhi Min.

"Are you alright? Do I need to get ice?"

"Should I call the ambulance"

"How is your hand, can you feel it?"

The three expressed worry that Zhi Min never expected. Unknowingly, they were back to being the loud and wild group they had been on the first day of meeting.

Zhi Min smiled brightly

"I'm fine" He said

Heaving out a sigh of relief, everyone decided it was time to depart. When they left the house, they realised that they were in a small suburb and they didn't know where the city is.

In this situation, Lan Du and Hou Tian were actually experts.

"This handsome gentleman over here, my friends and I moved to this town not long ago, can you tell us where the closest city is?" Hou Tian grabbed a random man walking by and asked

Lan Du however targeted a young girl, Lan Du walked over and sat down beside her.

"Miss, um, I-I just reached the town n-not long ago with my friends and I-I don't know the way to the closest city, but I need something there, c-can you help me?" Lan Du tugged her sleeves and asked with puppy dog eyes.

Liu Fei was honestly surprised by the two's ability to ask for directions...it's almost as if they often get lost...

"Ah, yes, sure" The man Hou Tian stopped was pleased by his complement and naturally gave Hou Tian the directions, though when Hou Tian returned, he only got some vague details as the man was also new here.

Lan Du on the other hand...

"Wah, yes, yes you can ask for help, little brother if you go here and then do this..." She ranted on for almost five minutes before she waved Lan Du goodbye...

Lan Du smiled and walked back

"I got the information, just down the road, we will be able to find a bus stop which will bring us to the nearest city in half an hour, I also asked about this town's name, it's called Potato valley due to the mass production of potatoes here, and after we arrive, we can go to these places for cheap but high quality clothing" Lan Du said as she showed them a map on her phone.

"Wait, how does your phone even work? This is a different world, and a different era at that" Liu Fei exclaimed

Lan Du giggled

"I asked if that lady has a sim card for phones, and surprisingly, she said she had a spare one, so now we have a proper access to this world's internet" Lan Du said with a smile

Liu Fei and Hou Tian gasped in amazement

"Damn, you're very efficient in flirting" Hou Tian gave her a thumbs up and said

Lan Du smiled

"Zhi Min, you're so quiet, I feel sad that you're not praising me" Lan Du said with a mischievous smile

Zhi Min immediately became flustered

"Ah, th-that, I-"

"Pfft, don't worry, come, we'll lead you to the bus stop, as the youngest and prettiest, we naturally must protect the princess" Lan Du chuckled and said with a smile

Hou Tian laughed along with her whilst Liu Fei just smiled, he rubbed the embarrassed Zhi Min's head before turning to the others.

"Let's go" He said calmly

They arrived at the bus stop and got on the bus, the moment they did so, they attracted the attention of everyone on the bus. Lan Du and Hou Tian had very unique clothings, and they were both good looking to top it off so it didn't look weird, Liu Fei was extremely handsome and Zhi Min...do I have to say? Zhi Min was the prettiest amongst them all.

Some of the girls snapped pictures of them when they weren't looking, one of them was a bit more bold as she walked up to them.

"Can I take a picture with you all?" She asked shyly

Lan Du smiled

"When a pretty girl request such a thing, how can I say no?" Lan Du said playfully and stuck out her tongue

The girl blushed and took a quick photo with all four of them before going back to brag about it to her friends who were very jealous.

"They're all so hot"

"The pink haired one is my favourite, she is like a doll, so cute"

"Nah, I like the red haired one, he looks like the wild but caring type, and that outfit, it fits him so well!"

"I prefer the white haired one, that military outfit is so domineer looking, but he was so gentle when I spoke to him, he even smiled at me, ah, it's worth talking to them"

"But that one with glasses is also a good catch, look at him, he looks like a domineer CEO type and is also very handsome"

The girls talked up a storm, making Lan Du and Hou Tian laugh.
