She Won't Say It

    At the front yard of the Whites residence, a girl with slightly fair skin was kneeling on the stony ground with both legs. She had a fair skin, slightly violet eyes, as bright as the morning glory on the mountain. She had a lovely brandy hair cascading down to her back. Her health wasn't at its best and the few inhabitants that sorrounded her caused her to be dizzy.

They flooded her with questions, but she couldn't answer to any, and kept repeating her innocence with calm. She was obviously in a bad state where everyone would feel ashamed to the point of collapsing, yet she maintained her calm and her allure. 

She didn't  exude any aura of shame as an unmarried seventeen year teenager who was found pregnant.

'Damn why can she still maintain such an alluring appearance even at this moment?', Cindy Allan clenched her fist while looking at Nora White who's expression hadn't given her any satisfaction. She didn't believe that the girl in front body her could still be so calm.

There was no way she would let it pass, now that she had caused her aunty to reveal the pregnancy results to their neighbors, then she just needed to add more fuel to increase the heated flame. She needed to make everyone despise Nora and consider her as a shameless *****.

"Junior cousin, just tell us who the father is, we'll surely get justice for you."

Justice ?

What other justice was there at this moment, would it deny the fact that she got pregnant for a stranger and she had no idea who the stranger was. How could she prove that she was a month pregnant because she had been taken advantage of. The person that knew everything would never say anything. She didn't lie, but she intentionally hid the other part of the truth.

"Shameless girl, are you going to speak, who's the father of your bastard!"

   An average woman elegantly dressed stood out in the little crowd raised her voice, with obvious traces of her hate towards Nora White. But it was reasonable, Nora White might have a father, but a step mother could never replace her mother. Stella Allan had never liked her before, so it wasn't surprising that she could raise her voice.

Stella Allan felt an immense joy in her heart when she finally found a reason to scold her step daughter. She had always thought that the girl was flawless and found no fault in her. Even when she was displeased about her arrival she never once complained. She always had a flawless smile, probably hiding her real feelings. No matter what she did, Nora White obeyed, as if she was an unemotional person.

It was difficult to lay any complains about her, let it in studies or manners.

However, God finally answered her prayers, she couldn't tell how the annoying saint got pregnant, but Stella surely wouldn't leave the opportunity to scold and humiliate Nora.

"Aunt, please let's not talk like this, maybe there's a reason, let's give Nora a chance to explain. She definitely never thought of the outcome before..."

   Cindy consoled Stella, and at the same time trying to take the part of Nora who was still kneeling in the floor. Everyone thought she was sensible because she felt pity for her cousin, but in reality she was digging a pit for Nora by emphasizing on the fact that Nora never got pregnant on purpose. What was there to explain, she had already declared everything.

"Junior cousin, aunt is angry now, hurry up and apologize, we'll find a solution later."

"Apologize, I did nothing wrong, why should I apologize?"

  Nora who had been quiet all the while finally spoke, her words weren't rushed, but calm and composed. It wasn't offensive nor arrogant either, but she still received a slap from Stella who was fuming in anger.

"How dare you still say that you didn't do anything, you're unmarried, yet you're carrying a bastard, who do you still want to fool."

"I don't dare say the wrong words,besides, I've always been an honest person."

"Really, then how do you explain this pregnancy."

"I ..."

   Nora was willing to say the words, but her mouth was too heavy to say a single word. Each time she tried to recall the night when she had been abused, she felt a strong chest pain. It was a suffocating feeling that almost took her breath each time. She thought with time she would forget it, but the appearance of the little creature growing in her had changed everything.

"I ...I really don't dare say it."

    Cindy gave a sigh of relief when Nora abandoned the idea of saying any further. If she really said that she had been drugged and raped, people who knew her as a child of virtue would indeed believe her. But Nora had her pride, she surely wouldn't violate it even if she was pressured, so no one would save her.

"You shameless slut, you don't even dare say it, how am I supposed to explain to everyone present. I did so much for you and your sister. Is this how you pay me, by bringing a bad influence to my children!"

   Stella scolding went higher as she exposed Nora's case. She drew more attention because she wanted everyone to know what had happened. She wanted to make sure that Nora would be humiliated and abandoned by the members of Moon district who once supported her for her kind virtue. They once said Nora was outstanding compared to her children, how could she let a death woman's child steal the limelight so easily.

She doesn't deserve it.

  Every attention and good things should belong to her children and not to the child without a mother, it would best if the members of Moon district could chase her out of the Moon district.

"You really disappoint me, Our Moon district had always raised children with virtue, now that you did this kind of thing, how can we educate the other children to know what's good or bad."

  Stella stole a glance at the other women at the side who seemed to agree with her words. Moon quad was indeed a place of virtue and children were trained to be preserve their bodies for their husbands, now that Nora had come back with pregnancy, it was obvious that the members of their Moon district would no longer want her as role model for their children. Her stay was Indeed a disease for the other children.

"Shameless girl, now that you've reduced yourself to such level, I dare not defend you again. It was my fault, I tried my best to become a good mother for you and your sister, but ...sigh ...a step mother's status would definitely not change."

 Stella felt regretful, but the truth was that she was happy, happy to finally get rid of her burden. But she didn't expect her niece to suddenly rush in and defend her burden. She would have thought that Cindy was helping to add her stress if she hadn't listened to her words carefully.

What caught every one's attention was her attractive ever green eyes that seem to penetrate their souls the instant it met theirs. Her bright copper hair dazzled under the bright sun, thus concealing its messiness. She looked thin and frail, as if the wind might carry her away the next second, yet she was still able to exude a domineering presence, taking everyone's breathe away.

"Forcing her so much, what exactly do you expect her to say "

Everyone soon snapped out of their trance only to realize that they had been completely dominated by the presence of the petite frame.Ignoring the crowds lastonishment, Auriane gazed at the person who was pushing more blames onto her sister and the step mother and niece who couldn't wait to ruin her sister. They managed to gather members of the moon district to witness a mater that could be solved at home. They didn't even try to find the truth, but kept slandering her sister and instigating the members of Moon district to chase her away.

Their evil intentions were obvious, but they had worked so much hard on their act that they were sure to win by their script.
