Expect the unexpected

I woke up to to someone yelling “Stella, wake the hell up!”

“Uh huh” I replied waking up to my mother

“Let’s go before all the best items are sold” mother said hurriedly searching for something in my closet only to come up with a black jeans and a white crop which is mostly all I have in my closet.

Afte numerous pushes and shoved finally got ready to go out.

“Hah! Finally let’s go” mom said as soon as I hurried downstairs.

“But, I’m hungry can we atleast eat” I replied.

“Let’s grab something on the way” she replied while pushing me out the door.

Only to stop still as we were being towered as soon as we step off the porch.

“No!!! No!!! No!!!” Mom kept repeating

“Mom what’s going on, do you know him” I asked her

“ Run!!!” She told me while trying to pull me, only to stop short again when we were surrounded.

“Why are you here. We were following the rules” mom asked them

They just looked at us condescendingly without a reply.

“If I get a chance, I will shout run and you better start running young lady. We will discuss this later” mom told me with a serious look as if saying ‘Do it or your gonna die in my hands’ on her face which I have never seen before. She is always the jolly one who brightness up any situation. This makes me realise the kind of precarious situation we are in

“Only if you are coming along” I replied with similar expression

“You are coming with us” a new person said joining in.

“I will come with you. Let her stay behind” mom pleaded.

“No! I am coming along” I objected.

“Both of you are coming along.” He told us looking all scary. But honestly he feels like the kinda guy who is too nice but looks scary. Should I be thinking about this in this situation.

‘I have to do something but what. I don’t even know what is going on. Was mom involved in something illegal? Was it something from her past? Now that I think about it, she never told me anything related to her past. Damn! I’m going to interrogate her as soon as we get out of this situation’

When I tried to fight them. Mom told me it’s not use and told me to follow them in a very defeated sound. They have taken our phone and made us board a limo (a freaking limo to kidnap people, who are they)

“Mom who are they? Why are they taking us? Did you do something? Let’s call the cops?” I asked her

“They already took our phones. How are you gonna call the police exactly. Also I would love to tell you the truth but I made a life vow. So, I can’t tell you unless you are so curious you would rather let your mom to die” mom said

“Mom who even keeps vows these days” I asked her but looking at her I realised I’m not gonna get anything out of her.

Might as well enjoy the limo. Might never get to ride another in my life. “Woah! They even let us have these beverages and chocolates. Can this even be called kidnapping”

After a few minutes of me ransacking the limos food storage. We arrived at the destination.

“We are at the airport?” I asked shocked

“Yes. Don’t try anything, we are at the private airport used by the waverly family. No one is gonna pay you mind” one guard said looking at us like we are ants.

“Mom! isn’t waverly that rich family who live on the island. Why would they associate themselves with kidnappers. Wait! Don’t tell me, is my father some big shot and they are all trying to get to him using us? Or.. ” I started asked in a hurry

Mom interrupted me saying “more like your father sent them”

“What!!!!!” I asked shocked.

‘I can’t believe it my father is alive. I haven’t asked her about him since that one time in childhood, when I asked her and she started crying.’

While In my thoughts, we have boarded somehow. Are we even gonna live till tomorrow. Should have freaking completed that book, now I would never know the ending.

The flight has landed.
