episode 5

Jungkook POV~♪

School bell ran twice and we were going to walk home together. No, I'm walking home him home everyday. But as for today, it's different since Taehyung asked me out for a sudden date. Somehow, my heart started thumping faster than it usually does.

"It's already Tuesday! One week will go by in a flash so I've got to use my time wisely", he stated bluntly and gave me a small smile.

I knew it would become like this. Even though the limit is one week...But, this isn't even a game. It's not like that, Taehyung. Why is it affecting me? I shouldn't be troubled by that. I'm used to it after all...

"Tae-hyung, it's not like that", I mumbled softly.

"Hm? No way! Isn't a date a standard part of your itinerary?", he questioned while pouting cutely.

"Standard? There's no standard", I answered, avoiding his gaze.

"Good. Hey, let's eat something 'cause I'm starving", he said as he pulled on my arm, dragging me as we walked.

Soon, we spotted a restaurant on the way that attracted him so we went in together. According to Taehyung, they were always quite a number of people queuing up for it. He told me that he was craving for meats... that had nothing to do with this though. Even if I really fall for this person, who's now sitting right in front of me...I'm sure that ... he'll also leave when the time comes.

"Is this a joke?", I couldn't help but blurted it out.

"Hm?", he asked with a smile as he didn't hear clearly.

"N-Nothing, let's order now. You're hungry, aren't you?", I asked.

"Yeah!", he answered with a cute smile.

I noticed that he had been staring at me while we ate as if I did something wrong. So instead of asking why, I kept my head low while looking at my food. I tried concentrating on it until he broke the silence.

"You don't like barbecue meats?", he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Huh?", I questioned, chewing my food slowly.

"You've been really quiet today",he stated.

"Have I?", I asked, swallowing my food.

"I...hate that, okay? That you're actually unhappy about something but, you just keep quiet and go along with what I want", he said, staring at me.

"I wasn't thinking about that! Well...I guess I'm a bit troubled", I mumbled.

"Hm...hmm..", he hummed.

"Yeah...", I said and averted my gaze from him.

"If you don't feel like it, how about we forget about it today?", he asked.

"You don't like when people just go along with you?", I asked out of curiosity.

"EXACTLY! I hate it! 'Cause if the both of us aren't enjoying ourselves, then what's the point?", he said, emphasising the first word.

"I stole a glance at him and we both continued digging into our food. He ordered another plate of barbecue chicken meats and both of us shared the food.

( A/N : Sorry, that last part is really unnecessary )

"So...shoes", I stated with a small smile.

"Eh?".

"Let's go see of there are any new styles", I suggested and he smiled brightly while nodding rather violently.

"Sure, let's go!!",he exclaimed excitedly like a five year old child.

It was really cute.

I don't know anything about him.

And from the stoicism he possessed when shooting the basketball, I would've never thought that he could be so interesting and mercurial. Even stranger, I'm finding it harder and and harder to look myself away from him.

We didn't finish until the sunset as we went to the theatre together.

Halfway through the movie, Taehyung's head fell onto my shoulder and he was snoring softly when I turned to take a look at him. God, his sleeping face is adorable too. Next, I noticed the coke that almost slip out from his hand but I had managed to take it away before it slip. I let out a sigh of relief before putting it away.

The pictures on the sliver screen kept changing but, I had already long forgotten what the movie was about as I had drifted off to sleep on his head as well.
