It’s kinda boring only to play all day…

Maynard said while looking at the time

Maynard

Looks like it’s your feeding time

Maynard said as he stood up from the couch

He went towards the kitchen, and began to look for food

Maynard

Nothing is cooked, there’s only ingredients here…

Maynard took some ingredients out of the fridge and began to prepare some food

After a while, Maynard had cooked some soup, tomato soup.

Maynard looked at it excitingly, as tomato soup is his favorite soup.

Maynard

Alright I made some soup doll

Maynard went towards Mateo

Maynard put the bowl on the table and sat beside Mateo, while slowly grabbing the doll in his hands, and placing him on his lap

Mateo

…

Maynard slowly began to pick the spoon up, and slowly made Mateo swallow the soup

That was until Maynard looked away for a sec, and looked back to only see the soup had been spit out on the table

Maynard

Oh no… what a mess

Maynard placed the doll, and went to the kitchen to get some papers

While Maynard was getting the papers

The doll moved.

It moved.

Maynard

Darn it. What am I doing, feeding a doll that doesn’t even respond or swallow anything

Maynard said while coming back from the kitchen

As he was approaching the living room, he suddenly noticed the bedroom door open

Maynard didn’t think much about it, and kept walking to the living room

As soon as he approached the living room, he began to clean the table.

After some good 10 minutes of cleaning it, Maynard stood up and looked towards the couch

Maynard

Damn, why aren’t you swallowing the sou-

Maynard stopped talking

Maynard looked at couch in all seriousness, and immediately realized that the doll had somehow disappeared

Maynard

How did this happen…

Maynard said to himself

Maynard looked at the floor, and saw the dolls clothes spread everywhere

As if it’s been torn apart but with carefulness

Suddenly the light began to go out and in

Out and in

Until, he felt the fear creeping inside of him.

This is the end of the chapter
