A/n: be the rainbow to someone's cloud

Ava 's POV

In class

There were only few students in class as most of the students preferred to skip it after lunch and also it was raining heavenly which was a weird change in climate as the atmosphere was clear since morning.

I was just lost in my dreamland unlike my usual self who always concentrated in class

I was extremely hungry and also worried that I have to travel back home like that and unconsciously I found myself thinking about all my favorite dishes which mom makes at home.. the mouth watering pizza and the sweet cupcakes . I can't believe i even drew my favorite blue berry cupcake in my notebook..lucky for me that I had already read the part the professor was teaching otherwise I would have messed up in making notes and doing my assignments

Even toppers can sometimes day dream can't they ?

The class was boring and felt like a torture to me the teacher repeated same words again and again trying to elaborate and replace bookish words with easier ones as instead of class it felt like she was playing a game of giving synonyms to bookish words instead of explaining. This teacher was truly testing my patience like dude even if I can explain better but being the loud self I'm. I said "stop it already" out loud and of course it didn't go unnoticed by our dear Miss Daisy.

She was even louder then me

" Detention for a week "

Great ! Now another task added

After all the classes were finished I had only one new found duty because of "bunking classes" that was to clean all the not so interesting books from the library because no one bothered to do so.

But because of my lousy mouth I have detention too but bickering and complaining won't solve my problems i don't have my problem solver anymore . So i just motivated myself and walked towards the library .

God has given me only two special things first is my family , second my height so it was easy to reach the not so interesting books and clean them although i know it's useless but i also know my professor I'm sure he is gonna come and recheck them . While i was cleaning a book or some sort of dairy i heard a small whisper kind of thing "don't"

I turned around in a haste to see here and there trying to follow the voice but didn't see any trail of it , being the scared goat I'm so i just packed my stuff and cleaned it in a hurry and just started running out of the library as if my life depends on it .

The spooky vibes and the cloudy weather with thundering and rain was not helping either . The corridors were becoming dark and the windows were open banging loudly on the walls appearing as if it's straight coming out from a horror movie .

So , I decided to completely ignore it and run with all my might because of running like a wild horse my watch started to beep beep beep !

I wear a pluse watcg because like every mother my mom cares for me way too much and she thinks my heart is weak . My heart beat is increasing every minute but u couldn't care less as I checked time and Lmao this shit including the detention took me 1 hr 30 mins wow i surely do know how to get myself in trouble .

i thought with an amazing smirk .

I dragged myself towards the exit only to find heavy dark clouds thundering with heavy rain and I have successfully managed to forget the umbrella at home ..such a wonderful sight of destiny !

I was busy cursing my faith but ..then

Thum thum thum !

I could feel someone walking behind me following me , but i was too scared to even look behind but this heavy rain won't even let me leave the building .

I sign in frustration as I see other students leaving the campus in their cars even Bella , Jacob and Edward left in Asher 's car

What were these brats doing here this late anyways ? Not that it matters I thought standing alone in the building

I waited there for a few mins yet it felt like I was waiting for hours , but now I'm very scared the rain isn't helping either .. because rain isn't something that I like as unlike others rain gives me nothing but pain i watched it pour slowly as I  stood there frozen.

The silence somehow has me solace but that silence was soon interrupted by someone walking behind the doorways it was loud and clear but also weird because no one was there in the building except me .

Thud thud thud !

I thought i was imagining things but this can't be happening. I should write a book about myself

"Life and loss of the unlucky nerd ", I can't even stay like this forever ..right ? Should I just follow the sound ?

I know curiosity killed the cat and I'm ready to be killed let's go i said as i just followed the noise .

It felt as if someone was running up and down the stairs .

"who is there ? Who is there ?" I asked

I now saw a black shadow was visible okay this is it . I appologise sorry mummy . I scream in fear !

I will cry now what if it's a witch bloody marry ?

I couldn't hold myself anymore and shouted " I'm sorryy mummy forgive me I will never disturb you ghost ahhahaa " i was literally crying but to my surprise the shadow also did something similar it was a familiar male voice .

"I'm sorry ahaha please don't eat me..I'm not a tasty g- .."

Wait it's Asher ! No wait he went so it's Tyler the moron

I just blankly stared at him as he almost cried lol he is cute when he is scared.

Then he noticed it was me and his face was worth watching .

I laughed hard

Me: yea I'm a ghost lol cry a bit more poor baby

His face was red with embarrassment as he said

" What are you even doing here this late ? "

Me: the same thing you are doing !

Tyler : waiting ?

Me: yea

Tyler : you will be tired

Me: o yea I'm actually

Tyler : you are tired in such a short time

He chuckled and I laughed too

Me: you are speaking as if you have been waiting for a long time .

Tyler : who knows maybe

Me: how long ?

Tyler : a while well anyways why don't you just get wet in rain i read somewhere girls like rain you know the main character vibe . Haha

Me: oh well i don't like getting wet in rain

Tyler : why ?

I just smiled and said " Not my cup of tea "

Tyler : isn't rain beautiful to you ?

I replied to him that it's painful to me .

Tyler smiled and said

"It's getting dark and chilly ! The sky is wearing a veil of cloud it rains and hails the birds that were once chirping were now hidden and scared to leave for the quest it's refreshing yet gloomy in its own beautiful way .."

I laughed and said " Tyler you are quite poetic but you make it sound more scary"

Tyler : is that so ? I'm sorry my lady

Me : instead of apologising for petty things can't you just stop annoying me ?

Tyler gave me a thoughtful expression then replied " well that is very difficult you know "

Aish this jerk

I sometimes think he and Asher are twins

My thoughts were interrupted by him speaking again

"Tell me honestly you were scared too right?"

I just said "no-! I'm not a scared goat like you ."

But suddenly his expression changed and he shouts " Ahhh Ava look behind "

And i started shouting too

i was already scared because of the spooky atmosphere that i hugged Tyler tightly.

He was shocked and so was i but he busted laughing " o brave little Ava you aren't scared of anything "

I was embarrassed as i detached myself from him and punched his chest but his body felt really light and weak. He must have been hungry , i thought as i remember he told me he was the janitor's son .

I looked at him and smiled as i thought we both are kinda similar .

Tyler : i can't believe an educated girl like you believes in ghosts and spirits

He chuckled and I laughed along with him .

"Spirits are around us all the time , just because we don't see them that doesn't mean they don't exist ."

I replied.

"Maybe we can see them but we are just too ignorant to notice that ?"

He replied , his words were kinda weird but before i could say anything he just flashed his gummy smile to me and i kindly returned it with mine .
