The Evil Anticipates...

    Silas' POV:

12:45 Am

"Are you sure about this Silas?"

"I'm certain, Felix."

I'm standing right outside of the Oryn Empire, ready to move forward with this plan. I will have no regrets after this & I will have no mercy.

"This is really the step you decided to take?" Felix mutters with utter nonsense.

This is the step I should have taken long ago. I will take vegeance. This is my revenge, no one can stop me now while i'm this far into the game.

"This family slaughtered my people!" I state. "My entire village".

I prepared for so many moments in my life as a child. I learnt to battle with a sword, I learnt to fight with ungratitude & I learnt to show no pity in the process. I just go for the kill.

"We bust in there...and take the youngest daughter of Roman Solace as hostage". I explain.

I then turn to face him with no soul nor expression in my eyes. "If anyone gets in the way...we extinguish them all."

I have Axel keeping an eye out in the back because I know I can count on him to neutralize anyone with his bare hands.

I read that both the parents & her two sisters died in a fire that got started in a factory under their name. The only survivor is the one & only...Kireina Solace.

They took the easy way out. The only person that remains of their bloodline is her & I will get my hands on this spoiled little brat.

"Silas..." Felix roams off, once again, trying to get my attention. "You're not going to torture her in the brink of death are you?"

I let out a little chuckle, along with a smirk. "Since when did Felix Severan have a soft spot for a girl he doesn't even know?"

Felix has been by my side since we were in the slums. I know with no doubt that he will follow me where I lead. He's my right hand man.

"It's not that!" he tries explaining. "Just what if there's a possibility that she is innocent in all of this?"

Felix is the only one of us who would help someone in need of it, his smile charms females all over the world & his kindness brightens their day...but that's not like me at all. I show no remorse since the day I found out that my parents were killed by the Oryn Empire. They manipulate people into doing their dirty work & then kill them off in the end.

"Don't you think I ruled out that possibility already?!" I argue.

I will forever keep a barrier over my heart so no one can get close. I'm not going through the same pain I once went through. I will not. If her parents aren't here to pray the price for their crimes, she will.

"Then why are you-" he attempts to speak but before I can think, I just yell in his direction. "If I don't do this, i'll never get closure for myself!"

I stop for a moment as the perimeter around us goes quiet with the sound of my echoes. I turn back to my position as Felix frowns with his eyes, looking towards the ground. "If this is what you think is best, then I will follow you into the debts of hell" he convey's with a smirk & I let out a little chuckle. Even in times like this we can joke together.

We've been sitting in the bushes for a good 20 minutes now so I decide to take a peak into the window. I know this is her room because it's so colourful which proves for the brat she is.

"Are you ready?" Felix asks & I tilt my head. "Do you even have to ask?"

I use a sharp knife to cut through the edges of the window so it can slide up easily. It sure is easy breaking into a kingdom that is run by the rich & the corrupted.

I anticipate that no problems are facing Axel as we speak, considering the guards they usually have on standby are well trained soldiers. I have no doubt that he will make it out without a scratch.

"You watch the door & i'll get the girl" I inform Felix & walk straight to the bed.

I see her laying down on the pillow, calmly asleep as all of this hatred comes rushing back towards me. If I had gotten my revenge on her parents before their death, we wouldn't be in this situation right now. They ruined everything & now she will be in the position I would have put them in.

I slowly remove the blanket from her body & spot the black lingerie she's wearing. Quite ironic, consdering that's the only thing that's not pink in this room. It's very short & it takes me a minute or two to plan on how I should carry her.

How can I become such a coward at a time like this?

I should just carry her out as I please. She is just another pawn to me & i'm not going to be a gentleman just because she's a female.

I almost grab her when the sound of glass shattering rings through my ear. It's a loud sound, loud enough for her eyes to fly open.

Right before she's about to scream, I cover her mouth with my hand. She's really tough & struggles to remove it.

I turn around & see that Axel has jumped through the window, knocking over a vase that was on the dresser.

"What are you doing here, man?" I howl & he just shrugs his shoulders. "i'm done my duty".

I glance at him & he looks as though he came straight freshly out of a shower. "What about the guards?" I demand.

He looks so calm & collected. He's been that way ever since we've met & his words are always so vague. I don't think I can ever understand his way of doing things.

"I killed them" he informs me & I try to restrain this girl from moving. Luckily, she isn't strong enough to let go of my grip.

"All of them?" I question & he nods. Why am I even surprised? It's one of his many talents.

"Uhhh...Silas..." Felix calls out as I turn to face him. "What is it?"

"We have a bit of a problem."

His hands are trying to hold the door shut from people on the other side of it. Their banging swiftly at the door.

I rest my hand on my face in agony. This mission has took an entirely different route but we prepared for this so we will succeed.

I begin to think for a few seconds before I tell them the plan.

"Axel...Felix...you guys take charge & i'll take the girl & meet you outside".

"Got it" Felix replies & Axel nods his head in all seriousness, letting me know that he's got this.

"You will not take Miss Reina!" I hear a voice in a thick british accent, right before I exit through the window. That must have been Lucius, the butler. I did a lot of research on the Solace family before making my move. My master once taught me to always go into battle prepared & with a plan.

I jump through the window as I carry her & avoid the bushes, making my way down. Right as I land on my feet, she tries to escape my arms but I hold her down before she can but she just screams & cries.

"Could you be anymore annoying?" I mumble.

I take out my tazer & sting her with it. She passes out right away. That will keep her quiet at least until we get back to the Zemira empire.

I look back up towards the window & hear a lot of blood shed. It doesn't feel like it's going to end soon. More of the guards apart of the clan keep coming into that room but everyone is distracted with Felix & Axel that they don't even realize that their "precious" angel is not in there.

Those two guys are my team members & I can't just leave them to take care of one of the hardest tasks we had to face so far. I should go & help them. I have complete faith that they will make it out okay but it will be faster with my help.

The Oryn empire clan are disguised as servants but are actually well trained combatants for the Solace family...but...

Felix & Axel are well trained warriors under my hand & i'm not worried at all, in spite of that...if anything does happen, I will not lose them to utter trash.

I move this girl behind a hedge & climb my way up from the tree to fight along side Felix & Axel.

They held their own while I was gone which is good but with a third person, we'll be out of here sooner.

"What are you doing back?" Felix questions while using his sword to block attacks.

"I couldn't have you guys dying on me" I smirk & he shakes his head. "We had this under control".

Right during that moment, a knife swings rapidly at Felix' head but Axel clashes it in the brink of time.

"Do ya now?" I remark with my hand on my hip. They might have had this under control but I can't take even the slightest bit of chances.

Felix passes me one of the two swords he had & I begin massacring as if my life depended on it.

One of the members of the clan, known as "house maid" starts attacking me with a cheap blade while screaming "Where did you take Madam Kireina?!"

They act like they're nothing without her. It's like their lives only revolve around her. They seem to not be giving up anytime soon & I don't know how much we can be able to hold them off.

"Less talking, more fighting...old hag" I smirk & that obviously hits an anger button. She starts attacking me with more fierce now.

I slaughter more guards who come by my way while holding her off but I don't think that this is enough.

How spoiled does a person have to be to have about 100 working servants & guards fighting for your life?

I haven't seen the main work force or their butler in a while, we must leave before they create a disruption to our plan.

"Felix!" I call out once more & he immiediatly listens while holding off 3 people. "Yeah? what is it?"

I point down to the bag that he bought with him. "I think it's time to use the smoke grenades".

I could easily take up all of these old people in a matter of seconds but having that much blood on our hands isn't always good, especially when it's only been an hour & dozens of the clan just kept appearing out of nowhere. It got quite irritating.

"Okay" he agrees & begins to reach into the bag.

Axel & I step back, towards the window because we already know that he's the best when it comes to throwing those things at a right angle.

He has 3 in each hand & has already set the timers to two seconds before we left so all he had to do was throw all of them their way & press a button on a seprate controller.

As soon as he does that, he grabs his bag & runs towards the aperture where we all jump out one by one in a lightening of speed. I hear the grenades going off & I see a bunch of different colours filling up the entire room.

We have no time to stand around so I immiediatly grab the girl from behind the bushes & put her over my shoulder as we make a run for it towards the carriage we came in. We could have bought the horses but that would have been more of a hassle.

I throw her in the back of the hansom & signal the horses to ride off.

We begin to catch our breaths when we calm down & it goes quiet for about 30 seconds before Felix speaks.

"Hey dude...are you sure it's wise to put her back there?"

Even after all of this, all the killing he had to do in order to retrieve her, he still cares about others. I understand where he's coming from but I don't agree with him at all & i'm sure he doesn't understand my logics half of the time either.

"That girl has been living the affluent life all of her existence...she's not going to die from one bumby ride" I groan.

She doesn't deserve special treatment. When she wakes up, she will know the life she now lives. I will show no compassion for her. This is the only thing I can do for now, it will put an end to all of my rage that I have been carrying on for years.

"We're almost at the Zemira empire" I inform them. "Once we get there...you know where to place the girl".

Axel nods his heads in agreement. This plan has always been the same since we found out that she was the only survivor from that fire.

Whatever she was doing instead of being with her family that day might have saved her life but it won't save her from the trauma she's about to experience with me.

Arriving at the domain, Axel takes the hostaged girl to the cellar in the basement while Felix & I go upstairs to discuss important matters. We may have just started war with the Oryn empire by taking their pretentious snowflake but we also have other things to discuss because i'm not the ruler of Zemira empire for nothing.

Our main topic of discussion, however...is that the tribe of the Oryn Empire will come back to retrieve Kireina Solace, and there's no way in hell that's happening.
