Mrs. Ahn smiles up at her second daughter as she rubbed her tired eyes. She really did raise this one right, hadn't she. As for Sumi, she's not sure where she went wrong.
Mrs. Ahn
No dear, I'm fine. Go be with Taehyung.
She says, it was clear that Ara was very much into Taehyung,and she completely understood why. He was a gentleman and he was gorgeous. She really hopes it lasts.
Ara
He's still asleep. He's a heavy sleeper.
She tells and she makes her way around the island to assist her mother.
Mrs. Ahn
Well, in that case. I could use some help frying these pancakes.
Jungkook hears and he feels a hand slapping his face. It was so cold. too cold.
He groans and he turns away from her on the couch covering his ears with his hands but that doesn't help as he coukd still hear her perfectly.
Sumi
No. Let's go for a walk.
Jungkook
No. I want to sleep.
He whines some more and this time he sticks his fingers in his ear, surely this would be somewhat better right?
You'd think, he could still hear her loud, loud mouth.
Sumi
You're so infuriating.
She says and he aggressively pulls the sheet over his head to show her that he was annoyed by her presence and like the brat she is, she pulls the sheet over his head, annoying him even further.
Jungkook sighs deeply before he pulls the sheet back over his head and a few seconds later he hears the door of the room being shut aggressively and he groans as every bit of sleep he had left had just fled.
He pulls the sheet from above his head, rather agressively before he sits up, rubbing his tired eyes.
He stands to his feet before he slowly makes his way out of the room, to the bathroom, wide pout on his face.
He opens the door without much thought and he stops in his tracks when he lays eyes on Taehyung.
Much more than that too, A shirtless Taehyung.
He had only been brushing his teeth but for some reason, Jungkook finds it hard to look away but he does eventually.
He whispers and he turns to leave but Taehyung stops him before he could.
Taehyung
What for? You didn't do anything.
Taehyung
The bathroom's big enough for the both of us, no reason for you to leave.
Jungkook chuckles nervously before he nods and he turns away from Taehyung to close the door.
He closes his eyes in embarrassment, why was he stuttering so much. He takes a deep breath before he turns back to face Taehyung and he makes his way next to the other, before he picks up his toothbrush.
He looks into the mirror, and immediately he locks eyes with Taehyung, who had a bit of a smirk on his face before he bends down to wash his mouth out.
Jungkook sighs before he picks up the toothpaste and he puts a bit on his toothbrush before he starts brushing his teeth. A bit faster than he should be but he really needs to get out of this place.
Taehyung
Do you have plans today?
Taehyung cocks a brow as he stands straight again and he looks to Jungkook, laughing a bit.
Taehyung
What kind of plans?
Jungkook laughs nervously but it soon turns to him coughing as the toothpaste was starting to get too much.
He quickly turns away from Taehyung as his coughing dies down and he sighs. How much more was he going to embarrass himself around this guy?
Jungkook
I... Sumi and I... we...
Jungkook
We're going for a walk.
Taehyung
what about after?
Jungkook
I uhm... We're going to see a movie.
Jungkook
We're... uhm... going stay in her room. You know?
He says and as soon as it leaves his mouth he regrets it. Why is he so embarrassing. Jungkook quickly lowers his head so he could wash his mouth out.
Taehyung
Well, I should probably go find Ara.
Taehyung looks to him with a look of confusion before he turns away and Jungkook can hear him laughing at him.
Once the door closes, Jungkook sinks to the floor groaning in embarrassment. How could he ever face him again after that?
Jungkook
Fücking stupid... Shît!
Jungkook stands to his feet once more. He finds a silver lining. At least, he didn't mention what happened last night. He'd probably die if he did.
He quickly himself together and he spends a few more minutes brushing his teeth and pampering himself before he steps out of bathroom and he makes his way down to the living room.
He whispers politely and his eyes travel around the room, scan everyone.
Mrs. Ahn
Good Morning Jungkook, Did you sleep well?
He says and he just stands before the stairs for a few seconds longer than he should due to his nervous.
He's not nervous because of Taehyung's intense gaze on him, but because he doesn't do very well in social situations. He has no idea how conversations work or how to even speak like a normal person.
Okay, maybe Taehyung's far gaze was a factor in his nervousness but just a tiny tiny tiny part. like the absolute tiniest.
Taehyung stares at Jungkook as he awkwardly makes his way into the living room and he looks around. Taehyung smiles a bit. Looking at Jungkook, he hadn't pegged him as the nervous type.
He guesses something you really just couldn't assume.
Jungkook takes a deep breath before he does. He'd rather not but the only other available seats were near Taehyung. The one place he doesn't think he should be right now.
Taehyung
Aren't you guys going for a walk?
Taehyung asks and he sounded a bit too amused to hear that as his eyes found Jungkook's again, and he stares at him knowingly making Jungkook fret.
Sumi
Jungkook was too busy sleeping and he told me to leave him alone so now i'm no longer in the mood to walk.
Taehyung
Oh really, that's a bummer. I wasn't going to ask you guys to have me and Ara join.
Ara
No, babe, You know I hate walking.
Taehyung smiles at her pleadingly, he really wanted to join them.
Taehyung
Yeah, but it's good for you.
Ara
I'm staying right here. If you want to walk so bad just go with Jungkook.
He smiles before he looks over at Jungkook, who stares back at him, eyes wide.
Before he could finish, Sumi cuts him off.

Trust me, you don't want to. He's such a pain in the àss, seriously.

She mutters and Jungkook rolls his eyes with a scoff. He wishes she hadn't.
Ara
Come on, Sumi, cut Jungkook some slack.

Jungkook was about to say something but he feels a hand touch his shoulder and his mind goes other places.
Taehyung quizzes and it takes Jungkook a while to respond. When did he even find himself next to him?
Taehyung
So, how about that walk?
Taehyung
Think about it, would rather stay here with your girlfriend who you hate, or go for a nice walk with a friend.
Taehyung speaks, and he pulls Jungkook up out of the chair, effortlessy.
Jungkook

He lets out, not with the intention of being mean.
Taehyung
Ouch. That hurts my feelings.
Jungkook
Oh. I... I'm sorry I wasn't... I... I didn't mean to... I'm sorry.
Taehyung laughs softly at the other before he shoves his hands in his pockets and he starts walking out the door and Jungkook makes his way after him.
Maybe a walk wouldn't be so bad.
They walk along the pavement for a bit, admiring the fresh air but Jungkook can't stop thinking that he should apologize again.

I really am sorry for back there.
He whispers and Taehyung turns to look at him and unconciously his breathing picks up.
Jungkook

He smiles awkwardly, something about Taehyung just made him unbelievably nervous.
Taehyung
It's fine. Now that I think about it, friend might be a bit weird.
He cocks his head at the other. Wasn't he the one who called him friend? and now he's going as far as to say it's "weird"?

Jungkook stops in his tracks for a minute. This conversation has finally found him, hasn't it?
He stutters, he doesn't think he's ever been as embarrassed as he is now, ever in his life. Anyone could tell with the firey blush across his cheeks.

Taehyung utters again, almost like he wanted to see Jungkook topple over, right then and there. Can't they just never speak about it ever again.
He tries but the only thing he knew to defend himself was.

Taehyung tells and it's clear he did not believe Jungkook for even a second.

Taehyung says and he starts walking away from a flustered Jungkook.
Jungkook follows behind Taehyung and the further they get the more he thinks about how he's willing following this guy he only met yesterday into some secluded area and he's not very concerned.

He asks as he observes the pretty landscape. He's not big on nature but even he could appreciate this place. There was a pretty lake that stood just before a forest, the perfect balance of blue and green was it's color. If he weren't so cautious of himself he'd probably go for a swim.

I like to come here when I want some alone time.
Taehyung opens up, and it leads Jungkook's mind filled with questions.
Jungkook
Do you live close?
He asks, and he goes to stand next to Taehyung, who stared out at the blue-green lake.
Taehyung
No. I'm from Seoul.
He says and Jungkook gasps a little. Does he really travel all the way from Seoul just to visit this place? But then he also thinks about how he's from Seoul too. He wonders if they've ever crossed paths.
Taehyung
Well, you should understand how it feels to want to get away from that... I don't know... that lush life.
He smiles over at the other but he could tell Jungkook was not relating to that at all and he makes him smile wider. Jungkook was so different from him, yet he didn't even seem to mind.
Taehyung
Sometimes I need myself to be dragged back down to earth.
He continues and Jungkook nods.
Jungkook
You seem pretty chill to me.
He admits and Taehyung turns to him shaking his head before he sits on the grass at his feet.
Taehyung
I guess for now I am, but when i'm in the city and I'm around people, most of them, who I don't even know, it's like I become a whole different person.
Taehyung opens up more and really he probably should not be dumping all this on Jungkook but he seemed like the type who'd listen, rather than judge.
He questions and he also sits down, facing Taehyung. Having Taehyung be somewhat vulnerable seemed to take away some of his nervousness and he hadn't even realky realized that he was talking in full sentences.
Taehyung
The opposite of how I am now.
Taehyung
whatever that is.
He goes on and Jungkook smiles over at him.
Jungkook
You're such a weird guy.
Taehyung turns to him with an eyebrow raised.
Jungkook
Well, you just... I feel like I know you but I also feel like I have no clue who you are.
He explains and Taehyung shakes his head at the other.
Taehyung
Thank you... I guess.
Taehyung
You're pretty weird too.
Taehyung
Even though it's clear as day you want me up against you, you deny it like there's no tomorrow.
Jungkook's heart skips a beat. How could he say such things with such ease? and without any warning too?
Taehyung

He chuckles lowly, and Jungkook feels something in the pit of his stomach.
Taehyung
But you still want to kiss me right now, don't you?
He says and he stands immediately.
Taehyung

He needed to leave right now.
Jungkook
For fück's sake, I have a girlfriend and sure I may hate her but still, cheating is... I could never do that.
because he doesn't know if he can control himself.
Jungkook
And Ara is so great to you, why are you forcing this?
He says as he keeps stepping backwards but the more he does, the closer Taehyung gets.
Taehyung

Jungkook stops in his tracks at that, the closer Taehyung got, the more heavy his breathing got.

Taehyung says and he steps so close to Jungkook and the younger closes his eyes waiting for Taehyung to make a move.
He opens his eyes when he feels a peck on the tip of his nose, a deep breath leaves his lips as he watches Taehyung stare down at him with a smug look.
He watches as Taehyung walks away and he closes his eyes shaking his head.
Jungkook
I don't want that.
He whispers softly, desperately trying to convince himself as he slowly follows behind Taehyung.
He admits in his head. He's so screwed.
