Meeting the divine dragon

The next morning, when Jiang Cheng woke up the bed beside him was cold. He rushed in his night wear, ran towards her sister's quarters.

He reached there panting and asked his sister,"Sister, Where is cousin A-ying?" Yanli was surprised but she smiled and spoke,"He left early this morning. Father tried to stop him by saying you would try to find him. But he didn't stop and left once he was done."

On hearing this,Jiang Cheng felt dejected and his heart felt empty. He was angry because he didn't even cared for him. He was at loss of words therefore he walked away from Jiang Yanli's courtyard.

Jiang Yanli was rather confused because of her brother's behaviour but couldn't ask anything 'cause he already left. She thought he might recover from it soon.

But,Jiang Cheng missed Wei Ying no matter how hard he tried. That's why he started to focus only on cultivation. Everything else made him remember that stern face yet that pretty smile he had received in last made him unable to breath.

When Wei Ying left the sect, and went to take a stroll around Yunmeng inorder to remember the way back. He strolled around for half a day and then walked away, he didn't know where to go exactly but thought since he had to train he should go to the forests.

He entered a forest surrounding Yunmeng, strolled inside leisurely. The beasts thought of him as a easy prey therefore he got a lot to do on his first day.

Once it was dark he camped, took out some utensils and started to cook. There was a spirit beast nearby which walked over due to the aroma wafting in the air.

Wei Ying saw it, he wasn't afraid instead he calmly handed it a barbecue in a bowl. The beast thought this guy is so small , what is he doing here in the Middle of the night? But before he could ask Wei Ying released his momentum to answer his question.

The meat in the beasts mouth fell down, and it's mouth was left agape. It thought just what sort of creature is this guy?!! But then, it thought of a good plan.

He kneeled in front of Wei Ying, and spoke," Are you willing to be my master?" Wei Ying looked towards him,but instead of surprise there was a smiling face as if he knew what the beast was trying to do.

Wei Ying said,"Mnn, you can Mr. Divine dragon. But you have to make a vow not to harm those whom I have prohibited to." The divine dragon immediately agreed.

They formed a spirit contract, both advanced in rank and the dragon tangled itself around Wei Ying's wrist. Wei Ying smiled when the little Dragon snuggled itself towards him.

Wei Ying then went in inorder to take a rest but the little guy instead of resting decided to keep guard. Wei Ying didn't stopped him.

Next morning, Wei Ying packed the tent and said," I don't know how to call you? Should I give you a name or you already have one?"

The dragon scoffed and said," No need I have one. It's Bailu."

Wei Ying rubbed his head and then suddenly something struck his mind. He asked Bailu," Do you know I had a snake type spirit in my last life as well."

Well, the beast knew about her journey so she thought of discussing it. Bailu spoke," Are you able to form it now as well?" Wei Ying said," Mnn, I can."

Bailu smiled and said cheekily,"Show me then!" Wei Ying looked at him angrily but still there was no anger in his eyes. He formed a giant snake which seemed ancient but still was not a dragon which confused Wei Ying.

When Bailu saw the spirit it immediately kowtowed and said," Greetings to ancestor!!" Wei Ying was surprised and thought,if it's this guy's ancestor doesn't it mean it has it's own consciousness as well!!! After all they were powerful once! Plus if it really was Bailu's ancestor shouldn't it be the first dragon of the dragon race formed between heaven and earth according to legends!!!

Wei Ying was dumbstruck. He thought I treated it as something unpresentable my entire last life. Don't tell me it's gonna take its revenge!! The spirit ancestor knew his thoughts and smiled devilishly. Wei Ying thought I'm dead again!!!

Bailu got up, trying to clear his fake tears, said," You don't know ancestor, we have been waiting for you since a really long time!!"

Wei Ying gave them time to tell each other the current affairs. Afterall if there would be anything happening in dragon race, he would have to accompany them there 'cause they were his!!!

After catching up, they continued their journey towards the interior of the forests. But no beast dared to annoy Wei Ying due to his strength and contracted beasts.
