After asking the question, she got anxious. She takes a small and elegant sip from the glass. The drink was bitter at the start. But later, the aftertaste was sweet as sugar. The sour taste of orange peel can be felt too.

Stella was amazed by him and how he made such a good and tempting drink in just a few minutes. She turned red when she thought that he made this, especially for her.

If you are not comfortable, it's totally okay. (Smiles)

I just asked because I felt like you're the same age as me and attending a University.

Charles Laurent

It's okay, beautiful.

Charles Laurent

Just as you concluded, I'm still at University; in the last year of my course.

Charles Laurent

As for my age, I'll turn twenty-one after two months. So old I guess. (Chuckles gently)

Stella

N-No! What are you saying!? (Shakes her head)

Stella

You're not old at all!

Charles Laurent

Your words are just as comforting as you, gorgeous. (Chuckles)

Stella

I'm in my second year. And I'm nineteen years old. (Answers while hiding her blushing red face and cheeks)

Ah! Luckily, I put less percentage of liquor in your glass.

It's not safe for a lone and, that too gorgeous girl like you, to get tipsy in a club.

Stella

Th-That...T-Thank you so much! (Flushes and feels butterflies)

He was about to answer back when his club manager yelled for him from a brief distance.

Club Manager

Charles! Come over here.

Charles Laurent

Charles once again shows his gentle angelic smile and takes her hand. He puts a kiss on her hand before leaving the counter. He looked normal on the surface. However, he was cursing his manager like hell.

D*mn, here goes my tip and that too after giving out my f*cking personal information! (Grit his teeth)

Club Manager

This is Charles; one of the best bartenders in our club.

The manager introduces him as soon as he reaches him. Charles's eyes move towards the man to who his manager was talking. One look and he can tell, he is not someone anyone can mess with.

His aura shouted only one word.

He was wrapped in layers of clothes. Expensive clothes. Although it was a club, he was in his formal wear. A three-piece matte-black suit. As it was winter, a rich and thick coat was resting on his broad shoulders.

His frame was so tall compared to him. He had to move his head upwards to look at his face. Amber eyes, pale skin, tall nose and sharp jawline; features were god-like. His body was also big. It felt like he is a giant.

However, rather than drooling over him, he was in deep thoughts. He felt like he has seen this man before. He felt oddly familiar. He let that thought slide by thinking that he must have come to the club before also.

Though he didn't want to look in his eyes, his amber eyes were like magnets. They pulled him towards them. And the moment, the man heard his name, something formed in his eyes.

It was dark and scary.
