“Tomorrow the festival will officially start! Let`s go buy some dress to wear!” and there goes Linzy again dragging us around the room.

“Hmm, it is my first time to participate in a festival here so why not dress up for it" alfiora looked at her phone and showed us a place "Tgis is where we are going. It is where expensive and high quality specially-made dresses are sold”

“Well, I didn`t bring that much outdoor clothes anyway. I thought it will just be a normal week, I forgot I have two glamgram models with me” I prepared my clothes and one by one we took a bath.

“Oh, let me remind you, it is a very meticulous shop where we are going, so dress up fancy”

“Wow Alfiora just gave me the chills” Linzy whispered and hugged herself.

“That`s Alfiora to you” I shook my head and changed clothes after finishing my makeup.

I wore my strapless burgundy velvet slit hem sexy bodycon dress partnered with a long Faux-furred black collar burgundy wool coat and my black thigh-high heel boots.

Linzy wore a black tube bralette under custom-made off-shoulder long-sleeved metallic mesh crop top partnered with a black skinny leather jean and a black pointed-toe pumps heels.

As for Alfiora, she always wears the bossy outfits since she`s raised in a business family. She wore a formal sky-blue double-breasted sleeve blazer dress and a white leather ankle boots.

“We are already looking expensive why do we still have to buy expensive clothes?” I asked while packing my stuff in my rose gold glitter purse.

“We re not only there to buy, we re also there to negotiate” Alfiora finished putting on her red lipstick and smiled.

Linzy and I just looked at each other and shrugged, “Let`s go”

We got off the elevator and walked the lobby like runway models and everyone`s attention was on us again.

We walked straight outside and we didn`t ride any cab, Alfiora told us it will be a waste of fashion look so we must flash our looks to everyone living in the streets of Han City.

“My feet hurt but for the sake of fashion I must endure the pain” Linzy whines as we walk the crowded streets.

“We`re here” we stopped in front of a mirror-tinted 3-storey building.

We walked the stairs outside and a security opened the glass door for us.

“Good day mesdames, what can I get for you?” a salesman escorted us on our way in.

The first floor is where the counters are.

The salesman looked at Alfiora and was in shock, “Oh my is this the one and only Alfiora Sy? It is my pleasure to help you”

“Thank you, we`re here to buy clothes and speak with the owner of the company, Ms. Rita, we have an arranged meeting today”

“Will do, madam, please come this way” the salesman showed us the elevator.

I saw a man walk-in wearing a normal shirt and pants and a slipper but immediately rejected by another salesman.

Wow, they are really meticulous here.

We got to the second floor and there are only few customers. Few rich model-looking customers.

We had an agreement to only choose one overall outfit for the festival to avoid having a hard time choosing over other options.

“Ms. Sy, Madam Rita is ready to meet you” the salesman extended his arm showing the way to the elevator.

“Let`s go” we went all together on the third floor of the building. It is where the offices are.

We sat on the sofa and in front of us is Alfiora seated on a fur chair negotiating with Ms. Rita on the other side of the table.

they had an agreement about having Alfiora as one of the company`s models and more about the collaboration of both companies.

“Thank you for choosing me as your partner, Ms. Sy, I'm looking forward to our future productions” We all stood up and Alfiora gave Ms. Rita a handshake.

We head down to the first floor and had our clothes paid. They were folded and bagged perfectly.

No wonder this is a meticulous company.

We spent the day going around the city and bought more clothes but we let them deliver it to our own houses since we can`t carry them all.

When it got already dark outside, we went to the street food area and bought as many foods as we can and ate them all.

There were so many guys looking at us with their angry girlfriends.

Linzy just can`t stop acting cute in front of the guys she like, they did get along while Alfiora and I just mind our own business and eat as many food as we want.

I went back to buy another set when I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Oh, Sorry. I didn't see y-" I recognized the person, it was our hotel room neighbor. "Oh, it's you... Sorry for bumping into you"

I smiled at him and went on my way. He followed me to where I am buying my food.

"You must be new here" he stated while picking foods.

Is he talking to me?

I looked around and it's only the two of us at the stall.

"Oh, you're talking to me... okay... Well, yeah. We're on a short vacation." I answered while focusing on placing my food in my cup.

I need to fit as many as I can to my small cup.

"I see, you are not from here. How long will you be staying here?"

"Why do you ask?" I accidentally went on my serious-curious mode. I forced myself to smile at him to avoid being misunderstood, "I mean, maybe after the festival we will leave soon"

All my answers are lies. I can't spill any information to just any strangers. No matter how charming he may look. I still feel strange when I see him.

My gut tells me I need to avoid this guy.

"Ahh the City of Han's wonderful and colorful festival? It is going to be a great day"

"Yes. I am looking forward to participating in it"

"Me, too" something about that answer gave me the chills.

"I'll head back to my friends now" I said while carefully holding my cup and walked as fast as I can to reach alfiora and Linzy so we could head back now.

"Oooh Xhexi, making a move huh? Well that's so bold of you" Linzy pokes my cheek again.

"What are you talking about? we were only having a small talk" I rolled my eyes and start to devour my food.

"Excuse me, you forgot your purse" I heard the guy say behind me. I turned around and took my purse.

"Thank you for bringing it back. sorry for the trouble"

"No, no it's fine. Don't worry I did not take anything from it." he scratched his head.

"Linzy, please hold my purse for now" I gave Linzy my purse and looked at her while gesturing her to check my stuff through ny facial expression.

"Oh, I don't see your girlfriend anywhere. Is she here?" alfiora suddenly spoke.

"She's actually in the infirmary right now. Thank you for your help by the way. The Doctor said she will be fine soon. I want to treat you to some drinks sometime, if that's okay?"

This guy won't stop, huh?

"Oh sorr-"

"Of Course, you can borrow her from us but make sure to bring her back to us okay?" Linzy cut me off.

No... No... I can't...

why do I suddenly feel like my heart is about to jump out of my chest?

"Really? I'll make it up t o you as soon as I can since you are only here for a short period of time" he bowed as a sign of gratitude towards us.

"Huh? short-"

"I look forward to having a nice drink with you" I cut off Linzy before she could spill our vacation plans.

"We don't know your name yet" said alfiora.

"Oh... you can call me Zeke. And you three?"

"I'm Linzy, nice to meet you" Linzy with the bubbly personality.

"Alfiora"

"Xhexi"

"Ahh Xhexi? okay. I'll have to go now. I still have errands to run. See you next time" finally he walks away from us. I can breathe now.

"What's with the attitude, Xhexi? Don't tell me you are really into him" Linzy said in an insulting manner.

"Hmm, you acted differently right now. what's wrong?" alfiora asked.

"Linzy, can you check my purse and name my stuff one by one" I have a bad feeling about this.

"Hmm? okay... Lipstick, mirror, perfume, mint candies..." she gasped " Where are your phone and wallet?!"

"Is that all?" I calmly asked her while eating my food.

"Uh huh... but your phone..."

"Don't worry,Linzy, she doesn't keep her phone and wallet in her purse remember? all the boys in your head must have erased your menory huh?" alfiora lightly knocked on Linzy's head.

Yeah, I keep my important stuff in every inside pocket of my coats or skirts.

"But why did you let me check your purse?" Linzy asked.

"Nothing, I just made you do it to take your attention away from 'Zeke'" I quoted.

"Hmp as if I am going to take him from you"

"enough enough it's going to get late. we should head back now"

we got to our hotel room and changed our clothes. I lied in bed and relaxed my body.

After he gave back my purse, I knew he took something from it. My business card. I always keep one business card in my purse for sudden appointments, but tonight it was taken without my permission.

errands, huh?

I guess it is time to let my detective side find out what's Zeke's real intention.
