Prologue

I knelt down and looked at my hands, seeing the blood stain on them, and I felt tears fall down my eyes and anger grow inside of me, I saw the house burning down, and I felt my heart in pain.

I pick up my mother, who is laying on the floor fighting for her life, I try to carry her on my back so that I don't lose her as well.

I look around and see that my father, brother, and sister are all gone.

Why does the Alpha have to do this? Why did he have to kill my family? My father was his trusted beta, and this is how he repays him by murdering and burning his family to death.

Lora My mother said quietly, "You need to get out of here."

Mother, mother, please hold on, I'll get you out of here...I cried with a beating heart.

Lora is not safe. The house is on fire, and if you stay here, you will perish just like us.

Mother, you're not dead yet; please don't say those words, and I'll get us out of here.

Lora, even if you manage to save me, I won't last long.

Mother, I take her off my back and look at her.

Mother, father is deceased, just like brothers and sisters; if you abandon me now, how will I survive? Please mother, I want to save you.

No more you can't save me.

I can't mother you just need to give me a chance.

No lora giving you a chance is like putting your life at risk I'm sorry.

No mother, don't be sorry, I don't want to lose you, who will make breakfast for me and who will tell funny jokes to me, please mother please let me save you.

Lora, my child, my mother, looked at me and placed her hands in my check, wiping the tears from my eyes. I want you to be brave and never give up because I know you will show everyone that our family is not a thief and that you will clear our name and lead us to victory.

I know, mother, that our family is not a thief, but how can I do anything when I don't even have my wolf power and am just an ordinary human for the time being? Please, mother, please.

The house began to fall apart, and the fire became out of control.

Lora, get out of here, my mother yelled, her pain palpable.

No, mother.

Get out now, I will always be with you dear, you have nothing to worry about, so get out...

I stood up, leaving my mother standing there. I turned back one last time to look at her, and I saw a smile on her face. I managed to get out of the house, and before I knew it, the house that was on fire collapsed.

I will seek vengeance, mother, and I will prove my father's innocence; just wait, mother, and see how I will make the Alpha pay for destroying my family's joy.

With tears streaming down my cheeks, I turn around. I walk away, attempting to restart my life.

This day I've been hunting for myself; I don't yet have my power, but I know it will come to me soon.

I built a treehouse in order to live there for a while until I could find a nice place to stay; I lived there for 5 years before deciding to return to my hometown, where I was born, and where I belong, and this time I will make the Alpha pay for all of his crimes.

People are always present to do good in order to make themselves look famous; my father was a good man, but he was only repaid with evilness. I refuse to see and hear the truth, which has led me to this point. Everyone thinks life is fun and hopeful, but it's just luck to me.

I saw how my hometown had changed and how everything seemed to be fine as if nothing had happened. 5 good years was equivalent to 5 centuries.

I changed my name from Lora to Little Red Riding Hood so that no one would know it was me, and the person I called a friend lied to me and betrayed me.

Everyone looked at me as if I were a stranger; I was being taken to the palace, and when I told the Alpha that I had nowhere to go, he decided to keep me there. I was perplexed as to why the son had not yet become the next Alpha, until it was revealed to me that he had become a drunk.

I did everything I could to ensure my mission's success. I tried to get close to the king, and at some point he chose me to be his beta, which I gladly accepted knowing that it was the only way I could kill him.

I put all fear behind me and did my best not to be suspicious; I tried to restore the Alpha son to his former self; I discovered that his lover had died, and I kept wondering who this lover was.

He improved quickly and began to like me, but I felt sorry for him because his father would soon be gone because he would die at my hands.

I later killed his father after gaining power; the man I wanted to avenge is now dead, but his son, who became the next Alpha, now wants to avenge his father's death; I'm on the run and trying to hide for my life, but I can't give up; I need to tell him the truth about why I killed his father and why he needs to be a good king.

I stood in front of him with my hands on his face and the sword directed through our stomach. I saw how the blood came out of his mouth and mine as well. I smiled and he smiled, but that was the day we said I LOVE YOU.
