I'm not exactly good at this but I do have two ideas that are similar to each other one idea is heaven Earth and hell or at work to with each other. but a small group of that is from each world comes together and tries to get everyone to be one be in peace with each other and stop the wars. the second idea is vampires werewolves and humans are at war with each other but a small group that is from each species comes together and tries the best to stop these three species from destroying each other. I'm not sure if these are good or not and I'm not sure if it's the dark theme you're looking for but I do hope I helped you some.
