We sit and eat in silence. Then Fong Mei interrupts the silence “Shao Peng.” I stop eating and look up from my bowl. “What do you want now? I’m trying to eat.” Since she is next to me, she tugs on my sleeve “I want to hear the rest of the story” I Look at her in disbelief “Not Now!” I say turning away trying to continue to eat. I happen to turn back around just in time to see this. Her face goes into a weird frown and she then pouts and shouts “I want to hear it now though!” “OK! But no more yelling for now get it Brat?” She squints at me and her squinting keeps on intensifying. I get unsettled “Can you stop. I am most disturbed” This goes on for another 30 seconds straight then she stops. I begin to continue my story. “I was badly injured near the sea crying and heard my little brother Mao “SHAO PENG!” He said in a painful voice. I see my little brother limping towards me. I shout for him to watch out because a guy was behind him. He grabbed my little brother’s jet blue hair that was in a bun and he slashed his throat in front of me as soon as it hit 8:00 pm which was the exact time Mao turns 7. Mao collapsed to his knees and then onto his face. The guy didn’t stop there He started stabbing his lifeless body. His blood had begun splashing onto my face. I thought it was my time to go but the guy just stabs the sword into the dirt smiling in my face while doing so he waves goodbye as he and his troop leave me in misery. It also just happens that very day we had my 11 brothers’ favorite food rice porridge. That’s why I eat rice porridge every Year on a Thursday, April 22nd at 8:00. I quiet “I got to admit that’s pretty messed up. They were also expecting to commit suicide or suffer from severe depression. I want to ask you one question.
