The Cruel Captain

"I see, the new peasants are here?"

His way of talk soon turned into a mockery session. "Jay, be nice!" jimmy replied."Hello!" it was Travis. He smiled at the man and waved his hand. "Greetings, young lad." Jay smiled slightly, but that was almost un-noticeable. "You are....?"

"Travis! Travis Ivory!" The boy replied. "I see..." Jay nodded and then looked at the girl standing next to him. He took a moment of silence to examine the girl from head to toe. "Is she your maid!?" Jay asked. "N-No! she is my sister!" Travis replied uncomfortably. "SISTER!?" he stared at her, but he froze when he caught her staring back into his eyes.

"If i had a sister like her, i would have abandoned her a long time ago" He continued. "What did you say!?" Amy finally snapped. "I do not repeat myself" He smirked.

"You Bastard"

Amy muttered. Jay flew in an instant rage and clenched his fist. "What did you say!?" He shouted. "BASTARD!" Jay's eyes widened when he heard her. "How dare yo-" He was about to yell again but was cut off by Amy. "You dont repeat yourself, well i do" She rolled her eyes.

Even though it was considered a disrespect to be talking to the captain of a ship like this, but Jay still somehow appreciated the amount of confidence she had in her talk, being a girl. "it was your first and last time disrespecting me like this." Jay warned with a deadly glare. "or you know the consequences".

He then looked at her feet.

"Do you not wear shoes?" he asked without a reaction. "

Oh- i totally forgot.... i was bought here bare-feet!

She said to herself.

"And look at yourself, you are a mess. If it wasn't for Jimmy defending you, i would have thrown you out in the sea by now, atleast the sharks wouldn't have gone hungry today" he continued.

Amy clinched her fist and gulped her anger.

"Jimmy, you know what to do now" Jay left.

It was shocking, and obviously unexpected. Now Amy was sure that looks can be decieving. "sorry about that, he has a bad temper" Jimmy apologized in a low voice. "I know" Amy replied.

"By the way.... why were we bought here?" She asked crossing her arms. Jimmy stood silent for a moment and called for one of the maids.

"Rebecca!"

"Yes sir!" A pale skinned girl arrived before them in an instant. "you called for me?" She bowed slightly. "Yes, take Travis to the dining table and get the food prepared" Jimmy commanded.

"Sure! anything else?"

"No, that's it for now. Oh, and take care of him" Jimmy looked at Travis and patted his head gently. "You can go with her and eat. Your sister and I will be there shortly" He smiled and Travis left with Rebecca.

"You know that i do not trust you completely yet, to let my brother go with one of your maids?" Amy asked in a rather angry tone. Jimmy sighed and nodded his head. "I know that, i will not convince you to trust me either. But, there is something that you need to know"

Amy looked at him. "Carry on, iam listening"

Jimmy cleared this throat before speaking. "The reason you were brought here to the crescents is because Jay needs you for something" Amy raised her brow in confusion. "Needs me for what?" She asked. "Well, he needs you for an important mission" Jimmy answered.

"Stop playing riddles with me for God's sake. He needs me, What For!?" Jimmy took a deep breath and took out a silver dagger from his pocket. "Wh-what are you-" Amy eyes widened as she saw Jimmy plunge the knife towards her.

(Omg! i knew it! this man can't be trusted! he is going to kill me now!)

"AHHHHHH!!!!!" She shrieked and waited for her skin to feel the pain of the stab. But to her surprise, she felt nothing. "Huh? did he not attack me?" She opened her eyes and looked at Jimmy who stood at his place calmly. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" she snapped at him.

"Look at your hand"

Amy shakingly looked at her right hand. "B-BLOOD!?" She gasped. "YOU REALLY DID STABBED ME YOU MORON!?" Jimmy smiled and Amy realized something fast. "Wh-why cant i feel any pain???" She asked him. "I dont know, ask yourself" She pressed her wound and still, no pain at all. Then all of a sudden, her cut started healing automatically. "WHAT THE HELL!?" After a few seconds, the scar was gone. It looked like it wasnt even there in the first place. "Wh-what type lf sorcery i-is this!? WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME!?" She cried out in shock.

"You had powers and you didnt even knew?" Jimmy smiled mysteriously. Amy looked at him in disbelief. "How the hell- wait....." She stopped as a thought jumped up in her mind.

"i remember now.... i never actually felt pain.... and the wounds always heal quickly... " She replied. "And you never once tried figuring out why?" Jimmy asked.

"Iam usually so busy in everything that i never even noticed. I just thought that maybe iam healthy so this is why my wounds heal fast.... ever since my parents left the country, i was the only one who had to take care of Travis and myself" She sighed. Jimmy patted her shoulder in comfort. "its okay..."

"By the way.... how did you know? about my power or whatever?" She raised her brow. "WERE YOU STALKING ME!?" Jimmy turned to leave but Amy stopped him. "HEY WAIT! I ASKED SOMETHING!" She shouted.

"Fine...." He stopped and spoke up finally:

"Some men witnessed you and your brother on the sea for a couple weeks. One of them was a sea pirate, and he was actually from among us. Once, he spotted you accidentally cut your arm with a sea shell. And it healed in seconds. He was shocked and informed Jay about it. Jay being what he is, got quite interested in having you for his next mission. He sent men to stalk you for weeks, just to get some more information about you. They soon realized that not only your wounds heal quickly, but they also never hurt." Jimmy finished.

"S-so.... it means the men who kidnapped us...." She hesitated. "They were sent by Jay to pick you up, either by affection or either by force. But since they are pirates, they prefer forcefull ways to capture persons" He continued. "Oh, and the green smoke you must have seen earlier. That is a special dust we use to capture alive beings. Its like a sleeping drug"

"This is why the smell was awfull...." Amy complained in anger. "But anyways, what is that mission i was captured for?" She asked. "I cannot tell you that." And with this, Jimmy walked away. "Hey wha-" She was soon interrupted by someone. "Rebecca?"

"Captain told me to get you ready. I already fed Travis and sent him to his room for sleep. You can visit him if you want" She replied. Amy took a deep breath. "Lets just get freshen up first. I look awful" She then walked away with Rebecca.

_Monday Night, 9:30 pm_

"You may go" Jay ordered and the man bowed one last time and left. He sighed and looked at the gigantic sea in front of him. After a few seconds, he took out a black string and gently tied it around one of the hooks of the ship's wheel. "I wont give up" he chanted to himself, with determination. He had always been a never giving up type of person. Once he was determined to do something, he would then put all his soul into it until it is fulfilled. Whether it be a sweet promise or a cruel revenge.

*Rustle* *Rustle*

Jay stood up and took out his sword. He pointed it towards the direction of some empty-barrels nearby. It looked like he knew just where the voice came from. "Get out" he commanded with a serious tone. It was not shocking for him, neither he was scared even an inch. His whole body kept intact even when he knew it could be an intruder. There was a complete silence for some minutes until Jay spoke up again.

"Get out or else i will destroy the crap you are hiding behind. It then wont take me long to destroy you either" He warned. His voice sounded even more threatening and scary now.

Upon this, the hidden person finally came out from behind the hiding spot and showed itself.

It was Amy. Jay rolled his eyes and put back his sword. "What are you doing here?" he asked while raising his brow.

"I- i actually..." Amy tried to reply but it was hard for her to even stand still, let alone speak.

Jay's intense gaze made her legs shake and voice crack. "Who allowed you to roam around MY ship??" He dropped another question. "I- i actually was having some trouble breathing properly so... i- i came... ou-" Just when she gained some courage to explain herself, Jay cut her off again.

"This is my ship, here you breath with my permission and walk around with my permission. Are you too dumb to understand that?" He asked. Amy had nothing to say now. Jay crossed his arms and examined her from head to toe. "I see, you look better now from before" Amy's eyes widened as she looked up at him.

(is he seriously complementing me!?) she thought. But her misunderstanding was soon cleared when he opened his mouth again. "But not pretty enough to please my eyes" He smirked.

(What is wrong with him!? Is he insane or what!?) Amy gulped her anger and clenched her fists tightly. "oh, so you got hurt by my words didnt you?" He walked closer to her with his arms still crossed.

Amy took a few steps back in fear. Even though he was beautiful and handsome. But he was still scary.

Jay took a few steps closer and Amy took a few steps back. "Get out" Jay ordered with a deadly gaze and she went back rushing inside with trembling legs. "Too much trouble for a girl" he sighed and began to walk back towards the ship's wheel.

on his way back, he noticed something shiny and gleamy on the wooden floor. He carefully picked it up. It was a blue necklace with silver lining around the blueish crystal. It sure was beautiful, but Jay had seen more beautiful things in life. It was then when he realized that it must've belonged to Amy, and that she dropped it while running away. "careless, i hate careless people" He muttered and got his hand ready to plunge the necklace into the sea.

But somehow, his fingers stopped. It was like something stopped him from doing so. He rolled the silver string of the necklace around his hand and gently observed it. ( why cant i throw it out? what stopped me?) he asked himself. "nevermind" He rolled his eyes and put the necklace in his pocket. "Stupid girl" he whispered to himself one last time before walking towards his bedroom.

On the other hand, Amy was searching frantically for her necklace. She had realized that she lost it right after getting back to her room. "Where could it be!?" she held her head in frustration. " i literally have searched everywhere around here, where the hell did it go!?" She asked herself as she looked around.

"Wait!!" She soon stopped when she remembered something. "I MUST'VE DROPPED IT OUTSIDE!" She cried out and plunged her body on the bed. "IAM NEVER GOING TO GET IT BACK NOW I GUESS!" She buried her head in a pillow and started crying.

"THAT NECKLACE MEANS THE WHOLE WORLD FOR ME" she started crying even more.

Warms tears soon soaked the pillow and she started having a trouble breathing. "AHH! i.... i can't.... i can't brea- breath......." She got up and gasped for air, but nothing worked.
