He had not much long joined his father for breakfast, it was more like brunch since it was almost 1pm.

Mr. Kim

He probably is, you guys should've waited until today to pick me up.

Jungkook

well, technically we did pick you up today since it was 1am at the time.

Mr. Kim

dont be smart with me..{small chuckle}

I thought you hated dumb people. {smug smile}

Mr. Kim

I also hate brats too.

Mr. Kim

elsewhere, Taehyung sat on his bed eyeing his bedside table. He had put Jungkook's book there last night before left and he still hasn't touched it yet.

He's been thinking about it for the past 8 hours and he still can't bring himself to open it. He knows it's wrong, and he'd do it to anyone else but Jungkook wasn't just anyone, he was his brother.

what if it was something really personal that he had in it? or maybe it was just still the same drawings from their childhood

he'd love to see them again, but he'd have to open it.

He sighs and stands before he grabs a sweater and makes his way out of his room with a yawn, he'd think about that later.

Jungkook!

Jungkook looks back as he hears Taehyung's voice boom from below the stairs that lead to the dining room. He finishes the food in his mouth before he shouts a response.

Taehyung

come on, I need you to drive me to the grocery store.

Jungkook

why? don't you know how to drive?

Taehyung

yes, but I want company...

ooh, I thought you hated my company.

Taehyung

I was probably being sarcastic, now let's go. I need to-

Mr. Kim

do we not have manners anymore?

Mr. Kim interrupts as he sends them pointed looks from across the recently polished dining table.

Mr. Kim

none of you even told me good morning {scoffs}

Jungkook

I did, I said good morning.

Jungkook defends.

Mr. Kim

you didn't, you came in and started chomping down the food like it was gonna run away.

Taehyung

hmm, I guess you forgot to teach us manners, father.

Mr. Kim

seems I have..

Mr. Kim shakes his head in disproval.

Mr. Kim

now jungkook, go with your brother..

Jungkook

why? we have work in like 30 minutes and I'm still not ready and I have to~

Mr. Kim

what if you not going makes him meet in an accident?

Jungkook

that's not gonna happen.

Taehyung

it might, I'm a reckless driver..

Jungkook turns and glares at Taehyung before he rolls his eyes and turns back to his adoptive father.

Jungkook

I'll just get dressed then we can go.

He wipes his mouth with a cloth and stands as Taehyung says:

there's no need, let's go in our pajama.

Jungkook

again? why are you so obsessed with people seeing us in our pajamas?

Jungkook asked as Taehyung pulled him by his forearm.

They both wave goodbye to Mr. Kim before they walk through the front of the house, and then they make their way to the garage.

Jungkook

I need to get my car fixed..

Jungkook lets out as he examines the remains of his car from the collision with that guy last night.

Taehyung

no, you need to buy a new one.

Jungkook

my car is perfectly fine.

Taehyung

{chuckles} I mean, if you say so.

Jungkook

just shut up and let's go...

Jungkook lets out before he stretches his hand out to Taehyung so he could get the keys for Taehyung's car.

Taehyung drops the key in Jungkook's hand, and he grabs it, before he turns and opens the car door, jumping inside quickly.

Taehyung joins but not before he sent Jungkook a weird gaze.

Taehyung

I think you might love my car more than your own.

Jungkook

I don't, but it drives really smoothly and it's alot faster.

Taehyung

I'm not buying a new car...

Taehyung laughs, he doesn't know why Jungkook lets him rile him up like this.

the trip was quite long, Taehyung is more of a fast driver while Jungkook was not, and it kind of irrates Taehyung just how slowly and carefully Jungkook had driven to the grocery store but he keeps his mouth shut.

[ in the grocery store]

what did you want to get here?

Taehyung

yogurt...

Jungkook

what? say psyche right now.

Taehyung

you dragged us all the way here for some stupid yogurt?

Taehyung

it's not stupid. [offended] and if it makes you feel better then buy something too.

Jungkook

You're unbelievable. [shakes head in disproval]

Taehyung

unbelievably handsome. {chuckles}

Jungkook glares at Taehyung and shakes his head again, while the other jokingingly bumped his shoulder with his own.

Taehyung

we need to hurry, cause I have all those stupid dates today.

Jungkook

I thought you forgot.

Taehyung

oh believe me, I'd love to forget but I need a wife as soon as possible and unfortunately I don't have a choice.

Jungkook

who knows? maybe you'll fall in love with the lucky girl.

Taehyung laughs and rolls his eyes at Jungkook.

Taehyung

only dumb people fall in love in fake relationships, it makes no sense to me how you can in love like that.

Jungkook

I think it's possible.

Taehyung

Jungkook rolls his eyes, tempted to just throw Taehyung a middle finger, and maybe he should.

where do they stack the yogurts?

Taehyung

I think the isle 6, it's been a while since I've been here.

Jungkook nods, and speedily they make their way to isle 6, a little conversation surfaces every now and then before they fall into comfortable silence.

Jungkook's eyes widen at the site before him, and he stops in his tracks, hand gripping Taehyung's forearm dangerously tight as he continued staring before him with wide eyes.

Taehyung

what the ****?! are you crazy?

Taehyung grabs Jungkook's hand and tries pushing him off but he doesn't budge, Taehyung rolls his eyes then looked over to where Jungkook was looking.

Taehyung

oh~

now everything made sense to Taehyung, and the big brother in him just felt the need to embarrass Jungkook.

why are you hiding behind me?

Jungkook

nothing, let's just go to the next isle {whisper}

Taehyung

I'm not going anywhere, I want my yogurt and you need to stop hiding from him.

Taehyung looks back, oh he knew the face of that man well, and judging from his conversation with Jungkook last night, and how he was acting now, there was definitely something going on, and if Jungkook wanted to cower away then it was Taehyung's job to do everything possible to not let that happen.

Jungkook

shut up, im not hiding from anyone. {whisper}

Taehyung

oh, well good because he's coming this way.

Jungkook

what?!

Jungkook tries to fix himself behind Taehyung as the guy from yesterday was moving closer to them, what are the odds that they'd meet this soon after.

Taehyung bends down the moment Jimin moves closer to them, leaving Jungkook out in the open, no one to block him from Jimin's view. Jimin looks up at the same time, meeting Jungkook's eyes for a second or two before he looks away at the other grocery items and then he just walks away.

Jungkook

does he not remember me?

Taehyung laughs as he stands and earns a glare from Jungkook.

Taehyung

I mean, he's famous so he probably meets too many people on a daily basis.

Jungkook

yeah but I thought~

that he liked you? {snickers}
