Chapter 4: Murderer

(Evening)

He already finished creating the ink and strained it using some cloth and wait for it to get cold.

“Let us wait for it to get cold and we’ll start later”

“Okay” the lady answered

“How do you meet your barghest?” He asked looking to the lady.

(Flashback)

The lady already complete gathering when she encountered some humans on her way, it was a troop of soldier. She saw the three big cages full goblin children, the women and male are tied up to spare their lives.

She tried not to be noticed but the hero noticed her peeking and she almost got hit by an arrow and three of the cavalry started to follow her.

One soldier almost hit her with spear but she was lucky to be saved when the white big wolf almost like a horse stop the spear by biting it. The horse whined due to the shocked and the soldier loss it balanced made her chance to leave the place.

(End of flashback)

“Sorry, I’m not there to protect you” He said sincerely.

“It’s okay, don’t worry.” the lady said.

“Well, next time I follow you wherever you go. I promise.” He said as an excuse to his guilt.

“What name do you prefer?” He asked his lady.

“I don’t know but everything will be okay” the lady answered but the man sighed because he is the one who will decide the name.

“Are you okay if I call you Nathalie Goblette.” He asked.

“If you’re pleased” the lady smiled.

“I think that’s lovely name and the Goblette is a name represent female goblin” He explained.

He bitter smiled secretly

“I’m already done with the paint brush. I guess we can start” He said and the lady nodded.

“I’ll start” He said and show the two blank piece of paper draw on them a two circle and stars inside where each side holds the symbols of life, time, blood, power and energy after with that he started to chant the following instruction while the lady is also inside of magic circle.

-Ritual Chant-

While he is chanting the paper start to write on its own every information about his sister. The lady started to changed forms getting more curves, change the skin tone, and the man witnessed how the woman clothes torn apart because of the changes on its body. The woman hair become green from it dark brown color but the finger nails stay green.

His lady didn’t seem to bother showing nakedness and directly go to get the paper from desk “What is written on the paper?” the woman asked

He read it for Nathalie.

“Name: Nathalie Goblette, Age: 18, Sex: Female, Height: 84cm-142cm, Born: 05/07/1502, Race: Goblin, Status: Single, Skill Attribute: Double form shifter/Regeneration, Magic Attribute: None, Title Acquired: None”

After reading he looks at the woman in front of him and asked “Do you have extra clothes?”

“None but we could cover ourselves using sacs” the woman answered blushing because the two of them are already ***** and pointed the bunch of sacs.

He moved to the magic circle and started to chant.

Phoenix heard voice in his mind.

He got smaller from his hobgoblin form and Nathalie become taller than him at their human form, his built stay good, change his hair color to green too.

Nathalie's already covered her body.

He's now covered with sac too.

“I think we should sleep now, Nathalie” Phoenix said to Nathalie.

(Morning)

He woke up and look at his wearing “I need to find clothes for us?”

“We could use sacs to make a new clothes” Nathalie said stitching sacs at the side

“But it would be good to have a proper clothes instead, this uncomfortable” He stated

“You could try to the elves on the opposite side of the mountain” Nathalie sighed sadly.

“Let me go with you” Nathalie asked

“You don’t have to come with me, just lock the door. I want you to be safe” He replied

(Elves territory)

Phoenix reached his way to his target place but he doesn’t know how to ride horse so walk till he arrive the destination.

Four elves men block his way entering the village.

“I am Jules, these three are Hook, Walt, Ray and we are the village guards” while pointing his friend accordingly that look like he is the leader of them

“What is your race boy? We don’t allowed unknown race inside” the fat guy named Walt

“I’m here to make a trade but I’m no merchant” Phoenix answered to them.

“What do you need here?” the guy named Ray asked a question, the most serious to the rest.

“I want to trade this weapon and horse in exchange of clothes” Phoenix explained to them.

“Tell us who you are first before we let you in” Hook asked, the shortest guy in guards.

“Before answering, Let me asked it is possible to trade this weapon and horse for two clothes” phoenix asked

“Yes, but you can convert your product into money in that way you can saved much and buy whatever you desire. Who really are you kid?” Ray answered the question.

Phoenix showed in front of them the paper from divine magic ritual “I am Phoenix Baronet Goblin, a goblin. I heard that goblins are not allowed to hold coins, thanks I’m coming in”

All of them was shocked to what they heard seeing a goblin kid in almost human form. Phoenix moved to enter but they still block his way.

“You can’t enter here demon!” Walt said and they hold their weapons to them

He get mad with the cursing given to him without any good reason but he needs clothes he patiently said “Then let me trade here outside”

“Leave or you will be killed” Jules said

Phoenix started to walk away when the spear pierce his body. He look back to see who attack him and it was Walt, now he’s totally mad and weak but he tried to remove the spear right through his body.

He heard the four guys debate about what happened.

“What have you done Walt? He’s only a kid” Jules was shocked.

“He’s a goblin” Walt said without regret. Phoenix already removed the spear with out of control he pick a rock from the ground and throw targeting Walt. [Dead]

The three was shocked that Walt got killed. Hook tried to attack but end up hurt laying on the ground when phoenix kicked the side of his leg. Then the spear pointed directly at Walt’s face.

“Stop or you will be killed” Ray said in angry tone.

“Your party is the one who initiate this fight” Phoenix said in sarcasm.

“He is right, Let him go. Walt’s deserved his death.” Their leader Jules said.

Jules walk away but phoenix asked for a request “Would you mind to keep this encounter a secret, I don’t want any more trouble.”

“Yes” Jules stopped but didn’t bother to look and after he answered he continue to walk away.

Phoenix look at the two left behind mad at him and to the person on the ground, Walt’s dead.

*He’s Dead?* phoenix sighed

*Tittle Acquired: Murderer* He was shocked on what he heard.

He saw Hook holding Walt’s body while crying with ray standing at the side.

Phoenix turned away and leaved.
