THE TORMENT

'Minnie..... Minnie stop!!!'

'Haha....andwae!!!'

A little kid was running around in a beautiful garden, his giggles were like a soft Melody that no one can ever get tired of listening.

A woman was running behind him to catch him.

'Minnie you will get hurt! Don't run'

'I won't haha..' , the kid said while giggling.

'Oh.. I am tired! ' the woman exclaimed

'Eomma... Catch me hahaha...'

Suddenly the boy was left alone in space void of colours. Everything was black.

He was a teenager now.

The boy was now locked in a dark room.

' where is this...'

'Hey beautiful!' He heard it from behind him. He turned around quickly and saw a man, a handsome but sinister looking one.

'Wh-who a-are you? Wh-Where am I? E-eomma, A-Appa...where are they!!?'

'Oh sweetie... You seem to have so many doubts but what to do..... Your parents are....dead.They were getting in our way baby. They were being a hindrance. So I just put an end to it. I did well right?' The man said joyously.

'Why are you crying baby?Now you're mine! Aren't you happy ?' The man approached the scared boy and gripped him tightly.

He started touching him inappropriately, forcing himself on the boy.

'No! Leave me!! Don't touch me!' The boy tried his best to get out of his hold but all of his tries went in vain and his pleas left unheard.

'Oh! How innocent you look but I know you like it.You will soon be begging for it baby...' the man whispered in the boy's ear.

' Leave me!!! Let me go!!!

Save me please!! Someone please!' The boy screamed with all his might but no one was there to listen, to help him.

...PRESENT...

Doctors and nurses rushed in and out of the ER.

"Prepare the OR! Quickly!"

"Incubate the patient!"

"Yes!"

"Doctor! The patient has stopped breathing!Heart rate has dropped to zero!"

"Keep giving him CPR.

Nurse! Bring the Defibrillator !"

Jungkook was outside, watching everything that was happening.

He felt bad for the kid and wished for him to be saved.

He watched quietly as the doctors took him into the OR.

' What in the world have you been through kid?' He thought to himself.

He couldn't help but stay by the side of this stranger.He had this urge to protect him.

Ring~Ring~

His phone started ringing.

"Hello, Eomma.." Jungkook answered with an absent mind.

" Jungkook, son, How are you? I heard there has been an accident. Are you badly hurt?Is it serious? " His mom bombarded him with questions.

' Secretary Oh!!...'

" No mom I'm not hurt at all.Would I be

answering your call if I was hurt huh?"

"Oh! That's a relief. Me and Taemin were so worried about you baby. Thank God you're fine"

Jungkook scoffed.

" I get that you were worried mom but don't tell me about that kid okay?

I know really well how worried he was.

"JUNGKOOK!!! HOW COULD YOU SAY SOMETHING SO AWFUL!!HE IS JUST A KID!!

" Now that you've spoken so much I have understood that you are more than fine. Stay wherever you want and do whatever you want!" His mom said, annoyed and ended the call.

" I can't believe this!" Jungkook sighed, frustrated.

1 HOUR LATER

Secretary Oh arrived at the hospital after taking care of other matters.

"Mr Jeon, how is his condition?" she asked.

" Don't know yet."

Doctor came out of OR and approached them.

" Mr Jeon, the operation was successful. The patient might take a while to recover.

But there is something I need to tell to the family of the patient.."

"I do not know who his family is doctor but I hope you know who I am and also kno that I am reliable. You can tell me. I have decided to take care of him until his family shows up."

"Ok then, please come into my cabin."

"Yes. Miss Oh, take care of all the formalities and go back to the hotel. No need to overwork. Please take a good rest.I will come later."

" Yes. Thank you Mr Jeon" Miss Oh said simply, bowed a little and walked away.

' Tsk. Couldn't she even tell me to finish everything quickly and take a rest? I am literally working with a robot.'
