This is Daniel's POV

I slowly drifted to sleep while my boss was driving me home

He gently tapped me on my shoulder to wake me up once we had reached my apartment

I looked at the time, it was almost 12 am.

I glanced at him

Though he looks normal, tiredness can be seen on his face

He looked hot, like he had a fever though he was trying to hide it

So I gathered my courage and boldly asked...

Mr. Davis, would you like to sleep in?

I mean, since it's late and you'll have to travel for more than an hour to reach your home, you'll be tired

His breath hitched

*thinking* Looks like his fever is getting worse

We, then, entered my single bedroom apartment

Only now did I realise that I have only one bed

*thinking* Well, I can just offer him my bed and I'll sleep on the couch

Would you like to eat something?

Alexander Davis

No, thank you *smiles*

Then, a shower?

Alexander Davis

I do need one badly

I'll show you the way

I took him to the bathroom and then gave him a bath robe and my biggest set off clothes

Do you have another set of clothes?

Daniel James

They are the biggest one I have *embarrassed*

*thinking* F**k, he's so well built, even my biggest set doesn't fit!

I'll take my bath now, make yourself at home

*thinking* And let me drown myself in sorrow 😭😭

*drags his a** to the bathroom*

*thinking* That was a much needed bath, it washed away my tiredness and sorrow, that was relaxing! 😌😌

I went to the living room to find Mr. Davis on the couch and kind of struggling

Daniel James

*thinking* Looks like his fever didn't subside

Daniel James

Are you alright, Mr. Davis?

Daniel James

Do you need any medication?

Alexander Davis

It's alright!

Alexander Davis

I don't think it'll help me now

Alexander Davis

A night's rest would be fine

Daniel James

Then, please rest in the bedroom

Daniel James

I'll take the couch here

Alexander Davis

How can I let you sleep on the couch, I'll sleep here, you sleep in the bedroom

Daniel James

I can't do that!

Daniel James

You'll be uncomfortable in the couch and you are not feeling well, it's better to sleep in the room

Alexander Davis

Then let's just share the bed

Daniel James

Huh? *surprised*

Alexander Davis

I'll sleep on one side and you'll sleep on the other side

Daniel James

But.. that's..

Alexander Davis

That settles it then!

That's how we slept in the bed together

*thinking* I thought it was just sleeping together but who would've known he meant this sleeping?

Daniel James

*thinking* I'm not even gay and how will I face him in the office?

Daniel James

*thinking* I'm so embarrassed

Daniel James

*thinking* But I can't believe he forced himself upon me!

Daniel James

*thinking* I thought he was a gentleman but who would've known that he had this side to him!

Alexander Davis

*turns around in sleep*

Daniel James

*thinking* Looks like he is waking up, I'll just pretend to sleep to see what he'll do
