Chapter 5- My family?

As heared Endeavor saying those words...Toya ran towards where he was training...

I ran after him...He was fast...I tried to catch up but he ran faster...

"Onii-san! Onii-san stop!"

He was out of my sight...

I ran as fast as I could... Towards him...

By the time I was there...

I...He..Was... Hurting himself by over exerting his flames...It was burning his skin...He was crying...He was desperate...

"Onii-san! You're hurting yourself! Stop!"

Ugh damn it I can't even make my voice heard...

His mind right now is a mess...

He needs someone right now...

Can I do this...

Can I really save him...

Ugh why is this so messed up...

Why can't he just fucking let go of that feeling...?

Ugh...Now my head hurts...

I should just leave him be.

But...He's.. Going to be...His smile...That he gave me today..

He wouldnt be able to smile like that...If I leave him...

"You always come to save me don't you?"

I can't just let go of him.

I promised myself that I was going to save him.

"TOYA TODOROKI!! STOP HURTING YOURSELF!!"

"THIS IS NOT THE WAY YOURE GOING TO BE A HERO!! IF YOU HURT YOURSELF HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SAVE PEOPLE!!"

I screamed as loud as I could!

He's looking at me...

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EVEN KNOW?!? YOU DON'T EVEN GET WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH.JUST GO AWAY. LEAVE ME BE!"

He was crying...so hard...The desperate look on his face...

"I AM NOT GOING TO LEAVE YOU ALONE!"

He wouldn't listen to me... Crying ugh...I need to reach out to him...Right now he needs someone...He needs a hug...

I can i...I..Need to be with him...

Without thinking about anything else but to save him...I ran towards him...

(3rd person Pov)

Even though Shoko knew she was going to get burned by the flames, she didn't stop, she wanted to save his brother, it was hurting her to death that he was hurting himself.

As she was getting closer to his brother she could the heat that were produced by the blue flames.

But this was not stopping Shoko from getting through.

"SHOKO! DONT COME HERE"

As Roya could see Shoko coming towards him...But it was late for him to notice.

She was already too close to him.

But... Shoko wasn't burned by his flames.

She ran towards him crying and hugging and embraced him.

...

She had gotten her quirk.

And her ice was covering his flames...

The flame within him was slowly calming by the hug that his lil sister gave him.

"Onii-san, even if Endeavor abandons you, you're still there, you have the talent to overcome your drawbacks and to be a hero. Even if he doesn't need you, there are people who want you! There are people who want to be helped by you. You can still be a hero even without Endeavor."

Listening those mature words from a five year old made him believe in himself.

(Shoko's Pov)

His hands on my back were trembling. He was crying. He was holding me tight. After some time he broke the hug.

"Shoko...Why did you run towards me even though you knew you were going to get hurt...Even though I've never done anything to get this much... Even tho I ve ignored you time to time...Even tho I ve said such harsh words to you...I've never...I am not worth all this...I am not worth worrying over."

...

He was crying.

"Pfft...Onii-san is really stupid isn't he?"

He looked at me in a confused expression on his face.

"The reason I do this all for is simple. Because onii-san is my family!"

I said smiling.

Yes now I know what it feels to have a family.

He smiled while crying...

"You're right."

It's all alright for now...But will it always be like this...

Will not go back to hurting himself...? It cant be this easy...Now can it be...?

Its just the start of the tragedy...

I have to save them all...

My head...I am going to pass out...

"SHOKO!!!"
