You're in the store. shopping for food
While you're shopping,
you accidentally bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry." You said, looking up.
You immediately recognized who it was. It was your high school crush, and he recognized you too.
"Hello." He said, smiling.
"It's so good to see you again." You said, hugging him
"You too" He replied. holding onto you for a bit longer.
After a few seconds he let go of you
He was about to ask you a question when he noticed a ring on your finger
The smile on his face faded
"Never mind." He said, then calmly walked away.
You quickly chased after
him.
"Wait."
He turned around and
looked down at you
"This was gifted to me." You said, pulling the ring off.
"By who?" He asked. staring at it awkwardly.
But the more he stared at it, he realised something.
His lips grew into a huge smile.
"I gave you this in high school..." He mumbled. tears filling his eyes.
"I've always kept it You say, placing a hand on his cheek.
"Why?" He asked, staring into your eyes.
"Because I knew you'd come back..."
There was a long pause.
Neither of you said anything
Then suddenly, he slowly got on one knee and gently grabbed your hand.
He slid the ring on your finger.
"Will you"
You had already leaped onto him, screaming. "Yes!"
