At Your Service Awarding Ceremony

Good day! Here is another chapter about our Lady of Truth and her Knight. ( ◜‿◝ )♡

Start of Chapter

Today was the Awarding Ceremony for the heroes of the war against barbarian invaders.

And France who garnered the most achievements was prepared to receive his medal of honor.

But to his people and followers' dismay, the temple actually wanted to cancel the event due to the absence of an overseer and award bestower.

Marianne solemnly followed the ceremonial rites for bestowal of awards.

She was about to end the ceremony when light shone around the kneeling knight catching her in surprise.

By the Goddess' will...

France just as surprised as Marianne, looked up and saw a breath taking scene he will never forget.

...I bestow you the blessed and a divine title.

Marianne Houvre

From this moment on you shall be known as the Sword of Dawn.

The few witnesses and France's followers screamed and cried in happiness and excitement.

In front of them, the only people who were given blessed and divine titles by the Goddess herself stood like beings out of this world.

Marianne Houvre

France Evans, the Sword of Dawn, accept your blessings and praise the Goddess' grace.

France Evans

I solemnly swear to uphold my duties as a servant of the Goddess.

France Evans

I solemnly swear to honour my oaths as a knight. I shall serve her temple and fulfill her wills as the Sword of Dawn.

Marianne Houvre

From this day onward, France Evans earns the title of a Count by the Goddess' blessing and shall be known as the Sword of Dawn. In his wake, he shall create a path of hope towards Eden.

The ceremony ended with the loud cheers of the witnesses.

France suddenly kneeled in front of Marianne which caused everyone to quite down.

France Evans

It is my honor to have met you my Lady.

France kissed Marianne's hand while looking at her surprised and flushed expression.
