Break up

Ivy frantically signals to Cody to help her. He puts his arm around Ivy to comfort her and asks what Hannah is talking about. Hannah can’t help but roll her eyes. Again, speaking to Ivy, she says that she saw them together *and* heard her voice. Is Ivy not going to answer? Cody pulls his arm away.

Ivy grimaces and answers senior Hannah. Oppa Cody kept coming by the airport and calling her. What could she do? Oh, she’s so right. Ivy did nothing to encourage this relationship, not at all. Cody looks at her with surprise for throwing him under the bus. Ivy whines that they’re just going to talk briefly. Plus Hannah and she work together. How can Hannah say she cannot be seen?

Hannah stifles a bitter chuckle at Ivy’s gall and dares Ivy to try talking to her. Try looking at her, eating and smiling in front of her face. If she’s curious what will happen, then try it! Hannah sighs. Everyone called Ivy a fiery fox, but she’s never called Ivy that. Ivy grimaces and bites her lip, because Hannah’s about to bust her Oppa image. She quickly hangs up before Hannah can say any more. Oppa pout at Cody.

Hannah can’t believe that Ivy just hung up on her. She sighs loudly and promises H.mom that from now on she will live well. Alvin has gotten his pant leg free and continues to crawl away. Cody calls back so Hannah turns off her phone. Alvin tries to not be seen, but his phone starts buzzing. He’s spotted. He tries to lie still as he silences his phone. Hannah now stands in front of him. He looks up at her and groans. Stretching, he declares that that was a great nap! Real smooth.

Alvin looks over at Hannah and she’s annoyed. Must be fun for him. The straw hat he's wearing is killing me! I love it. She starts to walk off, as Alvin smiles to himself. She stops and turns around. Alvin tries to not smile and looks down as yanks his hat down so that it hides his face. Hannah eyes his outfit and asks if he’s the land’s care taker? He looks around him and flips off his hat. He asks if she means him. Indignant, she tells him to please put a few signs by the entrance. She always gets lost whenever she comes here. Alvin replies that he’s not. She doesn’t follow. He clarifies that he’s not the one who maintains this land. Hannah bows politely and apologizes. She gives him a lip-curl glare and starts to leave again.

He yells after her. She turns around and he urgently says that there’s a snake. Hannah freaks out. He walks by and says that he was saying that she should watch out for the snakes. Urgent does not equal ‘for your information.’ Hannah can’t believe he just did that. Alvin climbs on his bike and, in a friendly tone, says that he will see her later. He pedals away as she asks herself why she would ever see him again. She tries to get him back by yelling that there’s a boar, but Alvin just waves without turning around. I like him.

Alvin rides through town, greeting people. And it’s a dog and dog house! Dogs are becoming more popular in Korea as pets, so I always notice when they pop up in a k-drama. He arrives at Happy Dumpling, where Felix is waiting for him. Felix says it’s been a long time. Alvin considers and agrees. Not exactly friendly. Felix complains about them not delivering. He doesn’t understand standing in line for food. Instead of apologizing, Alvin tells him to just leave then. No love lost there. Alvin walks away.

Sam calls Alvin ‘boss’ and clucks at him to be more presentable. The bike is so cheesy... Can’t he dress better? Alvin waves at him to cut it out. Sam starts to talk about the hat but stops when Alvin gestures that he’s going to beat Sam if Sam doesn’t stop. Sam huffs, frustrated, but doesn’t say anything else. Alvin goes inside.

It’s hopping with people loving the dumplings. Korean dumplings are good. Alvin enters the kitchen and samples the next batch of stuffing. He spits is out onto the floor and asks the two cooks what the point of skin for the dumplings if the inside sucks. They know they’re in trouble. Alvin asks who tasted it. Cook1 raises his hand sheepishly and points to Cook2. Shocked look from Cook2, and then he sighs. Alvin tells him to stop sighing before he’s given a reason to sigh. Alvin tells them to just do it over and walks away. And I’m impressed that he didn’t yell at them for the mistake, which they’ve probably made before. Alvin walks out back and stares at the gate. She came that far, but still didn't stop by the house today either. He sighs.

Airport. Hannah and Ivy are on the same flight again. Ivy is brazen. Their eyes meet and Ivy defiantly walks over and asks why she should avoid… Hannah. That pause and ending practically in a whisper says it all. Hannah’s practically grinning evilly as she tells Ivy to give it a try. Hannah says that she’s the sad woman who lost her love of nine years to a junior and Ivy is the fox. Should she post it on the company blog? Ivy tries to walk by but Hannah blocks her path. Ivy turns around and walks the other way.

Later the ladies sit to eat. Hannah arrives and Ivy chokes on her food. Hannah sits and Ivy quickly exits. Emma is amazed at how strange Ivy is acting. People shouldn't change like that overnight. Ivy’s a top-notch bitch, but she's been volunteering for things lately. Hannah tells her not to worry. People don't change. She chomps on her bite of rice. Like she’s the shark eating her prey, that junior Ivy.

Switch to a friend’s baby shower. Friend feels bad for her. Friend asks that Hannah not be too hard on her… because Cody is coming. Friend sheepishly says that Cody’s really generous, which is why he stayed invited. Friend points out that they dated for over 10 years. She gives Hannah a hard time for breaking up with Cody over the phone. Hannah can’t believe that Friend is talking about manners. Friend back pedals.

Cody arrives. Hannah drinks more beer. They end up at a Spicy rice cake. Hannah has obviously drunk a lot more than Cody. He apologizes and she tells him that he shouldn't be sorry. They’re both in the wrong. They dated too long. He says that he really was going to end it with Ivy. Hannah scoffs at that: Someone who wants to end it comes after her to the airport? He just lost his mind because he’s in love.
