Training

A voice woke me up from my slumber. Where was I again? I looked around in the crowded room, filled with tools. Dust particles visible in the sun that shown in through the window. The familiar voice called again. "Dezba!" Oh, right, I time travelled. How wonderful. I thought sarcastically. I shoved the tarps made out of long leaves weaved together on the ground.

I was still a little out of it, as I stumbled and almost fell on my face as I climbed out of the window. But a pair of arms held me up. I looked up seeing concerned eyes. "Ariel?" He got a little mad at that. How did i know? Well, he dropped me on the ground right after I called him that.

"You can't even remember your saviours name!" He spat out, but I understand why he would be upset, this bodies previous owner was friends with him, now that I'm here, it's like Dezba doesn t remember him. "S-sorry" I said as I sat up off the cold ground.

"Why were you in the shed? Do you know how worried I was when you barged into my room?" Worried? Hmm, what does it feel like to worry about someone? Is it a bad thing? "Sorry." I muttered towards him. He sighed and then helped me off the ground. "I feel like you only know how to say sorry. Now what were you doing in the shed?" Will he "worry" more if I tell him? I better not. "I couldn't find my room." I said and looked down.

"You couldn't find your room, so you slept in the shed?! That's ridiculous!" Is he going to hit me now? I stopped in my tracks and braced myself for his beating. So much for the scar free body huh? I looked up when nothing happened. His eyes were on me like a mother pitying an orphan. "Why did you stop?" He finally asked, breaking the awfully awkward silence. "Sorry" I mumbled.

He grabbed my hand, continuing to walk forward. I was a little shocked that he touched me. It took all my strength to not yank my hand away. I guess he felt my uneasiness, and released my hand. I hate when people touch me. It feels disgusting. I don't know why, or when it started, but I feel like I lose my sanity every time someone touches me.

Nicko dragged me to the familiar room. I guess it's my room. He pushed me into the empty tub, dumping water on me from a bucket. Gosh, what time did I enter in. It's probably because I'm a poor actor in this time period.

"Take off your clothes. I'll tell the servants to fix you hair when your done. Your training started an hour ago, don't complain to me when he yells at you." He said over his shoulder as he left the room. "Sorry" Was all it ever felt like I ever said. Was last night a dream? I didn't see that guy anywhere. Nor his massive bodyguards. Maybe he gave up and left. Or maybe he's hiding here.

What Dezba didn't know, was that the guy who chased him last night, found out that he was going to see Dezba at the princesses birthday party.
