Chap 4

At the dinner.

All of then were talking. I was concentrating on eating my food. I didn't knew who was beside me until that person spoke.

"So Alicia how is your study and what are going to do after your graduation??"a voice beside me spoke I look up and saw that there young man whom I assumed 27 or 28 asked me.

"Well I am planning on studying aboard . I am going to study in English literature in order to become a writer and also want to develop my digital art . I am going to try my best" I answered.

There was dead silent at the dinning table. Everyone was looking at me. After few minutes he asked me again "why do you want to leave country??what about your boyfriend. Is he okay with it?" This time I give him a 'what the **** dude' look. I mean seriously what the **** is wrong with this dude..

"Hey dude. I don't have a boyfriend okay? I don't what you are thinking??. But I don't have time for it ."I answered with a eye roll.

"Well now a days  it doesn't matter. you don't have to hide it from us. Its very common.  Girls like you is always have boyfriends. I mean boyfriend." he said while smiling like a fucker. I really wanted rip his face with my own hand.

"You talking like as if you know me. You really have a very bad idea about girls. Have you ever saw me spreading my legs for some. Don't talk to me like that. You don't have any idea who am I. so please refrain from making such comments "I reply with a very calm tone.

It caught everyone off guard.

Everyone was looking at me shocking eyes. "I lost my appetite" with that I went to my room. I heard my mother shouting .But I ignored it. I was so angry. After few minutes that man come and sat beside me. I was on my phone playing game.

"Sorry for talking like that back at the dinner. I won't talk about anyone like that again. By the way I am Smith. I am your fathers friends son." He said

"Since I was taught to be forgiving. I will forgive you . but I shall remember your words. I am Alicia.." I said with a smile.

Then he talk about a lot but I hardly even reply. After 15 minute he was called cause thay were living.

"Can I have your phone number? "He asked me.

I narrowed my eyes and said "sorry but why? I don't want to give you my phone number. I don't like you at all."

Then what he told me shook me to the hell.

"well soon we are going to get married I want to know you better. "he said smiling

"WHAT??? what the **** are you talking about . I don't believe you. That's impossible." I said him. He just give me sinister smile.

"Why don't you ask your mother??I will be here waiting for you here." He told

I was beyond shocked and angry. I was feeling like I gonna cry any moment soon. I went to my Mother to ask her. Before reaching there i stop by laughing sound I hide behind the door and heard them.

"So when will they get married."

"Of course they will get married once she graduated." My mother said.

That time I feel betrayed. I wanted to scream at my mom. I wanted to cry. But since i am very rational person. I clamed myself. suddenly my inner self told me to play along. So I went back to my room and

"Here take my number." I said . pretending to smile shyly
