" Tó ba de ibe kó jè kí mó gbó, Jesu à siñ e ló o, Jó mà kè gbè kè gbè ó," my grandma said.

"Yes ma Amin ma, Esé gan ni ma" I replied.

( Yes ma, Amen Ma Thank you very much ma)

  Tears are in my eyes as entered the Taxi waiting to carry me to Muritala Mohammed Airport, my grandma decided to go with me but I know her health won't allow it, All though she has my Aunt Mary Taking care of her I can't help but worry because I have lived with her since I was 6 when my parents died and this is the first time I am Leaving her side for over 12 years.

In no time I got to the airport and I boarded the plane going to Canada.

Which was 12 hrs away from Nigeria, The plane took off and in no time I drifted to sleep after taking pills because I was scared of flying.

The plane landed and I called my Grandma to inform her of my safe landing.

Then  I Ordered Uber Going to  My Apartment, I am going to study Account at the University of Alberta and I am very excited to see what this new country is going to bring for me.

I am going to be staying off-campus Because my aunt heard that it's a much cheaper option and she just wanted me to have a bit of privacy, this is my first time seeing the apartment I have only seen pictures of it.

Getting there the Uber man was kind enough to help me With my bags and the Man that helped me get to the hostel was already waiting for me Outside the building.

We got to my room and I saw immediately liked it because it was a studio apartment With only a room, kitchen, toilet and bathroom and a living room, It was perfect!

The man whose name is Mr. Rogers Taught me how to set a passcode on the door and told me how to work almost everything in the apartment, I thanked Him and asked where the nearest market is and he told me that there is no market only Walmart and target and the dollar store.

So I decided to check it out when I got there I bought stuff for my room decor and Kitchen utensils then other necessary things I needed.

I went back home to begin unpacking after about 3 hours of unpacking I got the result I wanted.

I decided to go ahead and cook something for myself, since I brought ingredients from Nigeria I decided to make Jollof Rice and I paired it with some orange juice I got from the supermarket earlier. After dinner, I took a quick shower and changed into my PJs, and drifted off to la-la land.
