1 ''Kidnapped"

I woke up in a dark room with a lamp dangling upon my head. It had many pieces of hardware that were used in factories. They were merely collecting the dust. Looks like I am kidnapped in an abandoned factory. Despite this I didn't lose my composure, after all I was quite experienced with these things because it was the 19th time I was kidnapped. It was all because of my status I was the most powerful lawyer and the 3rd richest Person in the world, despite this I was kidnapped.

Soon I saw a well-built man in black suit I was unable to look for his face as it was dark, and he was entering that damp room as he came towards me with a steady pace he was giving a cold and noble aura as well as threatening and murderous. He came towards me and removed the cloth out my mouth. He then came forward and spoke with his cold eye's, but I was glaring back at him.

Furthermore, he then spoke, “I want you to work for me.”

I was mesmerized by his blue eyes as cold as ice. It was giving a life which was lived in utter disparity and loneliness. He was a type of guy girls would die to be with, but I was an exception. In my life, love was gambling that I hated the most. I have watched many people destroying their own life with their own hands by falling in love with a wrong person, I always thought it's better to be without love than to be falling in love with the wrong one. As being the most powerful lawyer in the world I never lost even one case, many rich lawyers looked up to me.

I was regarded as a threatening figure in the business world. So I have watched many cases of cheating where the husband cheat on their wives and mostly, women try to cast aside their dignity to be with their husband who cheated on them and doesn't even love them back. When this thought struck my mind I pulled back myself to the reality, then I saw that man followed by his subordinates one woman and one man who were as same age as me, they were in early twenties.

I was driven to madness after hearing what that man said, “I want you to work for me”.

He repeated I thought he was joking before he said it again I was glaring back at him and only if the looks could kill he would have died a thousand deaths. Though he was a very artistic piece of a God I still could not believe my ears at what he said, I calmly said, “how dare you kidnap me? Do you know who I am? If you dare to do something to me, I will make your life as miserable as a mouse in a gutter.”

He chuckled to himself saying, “If I didn't know you how would you be kidnapped right now.”

His words made me speechless. I think he was an insane man who didn't know what he was getting himself into, or he was much more powerful than I thought.

I was myself the third-richest person in the world only after my brother who was the second-richest person on earth. My brother was the most famous basket ball player known internationally. He played so many matches, never to be lost once. He is the director of world most renowned sports brand 'Akumas'. As I was thinking how to escape, soon after he said, “Ms. Salafia, from now on you would be working for me.”

His subordinate came forward and showed me the documents. Not gonna lie, this situation looked kind of interesting.

I noticed that my hands were tied. I said with a look of disdain in my eyes, “HOW COME I WOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE A GOOD LOOK IF YOU KEEP ME TIED UP?”

That girl subordinate came forward and removed the rope which was tied on my hands.

That document consisted of many illegal activities done by the most dangerous Mafia gang, 'Black Shadow '. I looked and realized that he was the leader of the most dangerous Mafia gang in the world.

I said with a smirk, “oh my! It looks like I discovered the most dangerous secret of the billionaire 'Allucard death'?”

He was looking at me with his cold eyes he then said, “I will pay you a handsome sum of money you have to work for me, I have many cases that require your assistance.”

It's looks like he misunderstood me. I am not someone that would work for anyone for a big sum of money. I have my reputation to uphold.

Still out of curiosity, I asked him, “what is your condition for making me work for you?”

He snorted, “No one would be able to kidnap you if come under my wing.” Seriously, this was his reason, God surely knows how to make trouble for me. I thought.

I flipped the pages of the file and saw that the majority of underground businesses in Europe were operated under his name. Likewise, I glanced at them and the continued reading. It consisted of many dangerous illegal activities, but which didn't involve the lives of the innocent. I sighed then spoke with calm and indifferent tone, “Well, well, I didn't expect that the world's most powerful Mafia Lord can be a righteous person. Still, you think that I am afraid of those sons of b×itches when they kidnap me…

Well, first and second time were exception, but after these kidnapping were mainly possible because I wanted them to kidnap me.”

He merely shot a glance and a look which meant to be saying “you are seriously a crazy person”

I coughed and continued, “Well it was a kind of boring routine where I wake up go to office study cases and then come home. It was boring, as you know I take maximum 5 cases per year which are very costly. They were mainly given by government. Those subordinate of his were also having an amusing expression, one could easily guess what was going in their minds.

I continued, “fine, even though I would be your kind of personal lawyer, you cannot restrict me from taking other cases.”

He thought for a second and said, “fine, it's not a problem for me. But remember, you shall not lose any case of mine.” his gaze was threatening.

I had an amused expression, “do you know what are you talking about? In front of you is the most powerful yet most dangerous lawyer in the world. I have a track record of never losing a case in the years of my career, yet you are questioning on my capabilities.” I was very angry with anyone questioning my capabilities yet here he is asking can I win his cases? Furthermore, I looked at him with murderous gaze.

He waved his hands and his subordinate brought a document. He handed them to me to have a look. I took a look and understood that it was the contract of me being his lawyer. I read the contract and then read the terms and conditions.

It was written that I will live at his house when a case arrives. I shot him a look of disdain then continued reading, next was during the term of contract we cannot harbour feelings toward each other. I sighed and looked towards him, “Mr. Death, are we negotiating a law contract or a marriage contract?” This sentence made the male subordinate laugh uncontrollably. Allucard Death shot him a glance, and he stopped laughing.

I continued, “Sir, are you living in a world of fairies where people fly with the help of pixie dust? How can someone like you be so narcissist? Me having feelings toward you aren't I questioning my choices?” I said with a confused expression on my face. This time it was a female subordinate who laughed uncontrollably. That male subordinate pinched her, and she shut her mouth, still I could hear them giggling.

He said, “I can't take risk.”

I sighed and signed the contract and stand up on my feet. My height was 5'10 (1.78 m), yet I was merely reaching to his shoulder. Wow, I am small, aren't I?
