Chapter 3 : Unknown

...These are the least reason why I'm still in the verge of dying....

After the man killed the Queen he then sealed Amelia inside the transparent gem and soon the color of the gem turned black.

One of his followers approach him and ask

" Now that the mission was a success sir..what are we going to do now? ".

The man replied to him " I want you to spread the news that the King of the Sky kingdom is dead, and the killer is none other than the Queen of the Netherworld herself...and I, The right hand of the previous king shall become the new king " .

Amelia's eyes widen to what he just says.

What the heck are you saying? Are you a literal crazy? Do you think I have the guts to kill him?

Amelia couldn't contain her anger when the scene infront of her changed into a very familiar place, Where the man opened a huge certain door and inside there's a certain man sleeping peacefully on the bed.

Wait...what is he going to do-

Before Amelia knew it. The certain man has been stabbed in the heart with a dagger, vomiting with blood and nonstop coughing gasping for air yet there is none.

Then the man who stabbed him grinned evily* while holding the neck of the certain man who is now laying helplessly.

" Look so hopeless now your highness~ "

The man who lays in the the cold and colorless floor held a grudge against the man who stabbed him with pride and replied

"You traitor" .

The man couldn't hold back his laughter and he laughed so hard causing him to cough

"Me?! haha...very funny but

I am not the real traitor here your Highness~ ... Because the real one is already died".

Amelia was about to launch herself forward when her soul is taken back by a force,

The place has been replaced by familiar smell of old and dusty papers of a certain room.

A woman who is sitting at the center of the hidden library with a book in her hand as she speak "So.. Do you now know what happened after your death? Your Majesty?" .

Amelia smiled and replied "Yes and I am extremely grateful for it".

Amelia urned around and met the woman's face which looks like it she is confused, As Amelia began to reply again.

"You know..The witch who is a guardian of history didn't told me, that she already knew what is happening around the four dimensions... I wanna ask why you didn't tell anyone in the remaining three of what is actually the real story behind why the king is dead?".

The woman sigh and said "To tell you the truth your majesty..I was forced by that man not to say a word to anyone or..."

" Or?"

" ..or he will destroy the human dimension itself".

"Tell me everything you know."

Amelia was about to finish her sentence when she was surprised that the woman kneeled infront of her.

"Please spare me your majesty!".

"You didn't do anything to anger me-

Besides even if you did, how can I possibly kill you? I'm just an ordinary human being now after all".

"I don't care ! Just kill me!- wait What?!".

Amelia shrug her shoulders and the woman just look a bit intense? .

"Bu-but how can you be just?! JUST?! ordinary?!, You are The Queen! The most powerful amongst the rulers of the four dimensions! How?! "

The words of the woman made Amelia thought, The most powerful among the four? Interesting.

Amelia then replied "I could sense the enormous tension you have now, but please put in mind that I am no longer the ruler and I think I could live my life here as a human being".

Amelia's words made the witch's twitch her brows "Please tell me you're joking".

At that moment Amelia giggle and stated the face of "Of course I am joking" .

The witch sigh and sat down at the hidden library's floor.

"it is a good thing you are because if my predictions are correct the entire dimension need you sooner or later ".

That caused Amelia to raised a brow.

Need me? Mostly everyone hated a demon let alone a leader among the demons.

The witch spoke again "Ah this reminds me your majesty".

" Hmm? " .

"If it's true that your powers are no longer there you could still get it back"

Ohh? Keep me amuse I think I could feel my mind getting excited.

Amelia cleared her throat "proceed ".

The witch smiled widely as suggested the "Well I have a perfect guide for you" .

'That woman give me some pretty good methods to regained my powers back, how lovely of her to do so.

But what makes me more confused is that why did that man do all of that? What is he plotting and what's more is...what

does he want from me? framing me to sank in the endless bottom of the abyss.

If that woman's words by the mean

needed me? she wants me to stop that man from his own schemes? I admit He and I didn't have a good relationship from the start, He and I aren't even friends in the first place after I was re-'

Amelia's thought was cut when a certain female voice called out "Aira! Where have you been? I've been so worried about you".

Amelia look at her and said "Sasha... It's just that I lost track of time reading books... And I'm sorry if I made you worry.... "

Sasha stated "No No it's okay by the way you look happy?".

Of course because I'm gonna be able to get my powers back!

Amelia smiled and said "mhmm after all I did read some pretty interesting historical stories" .

Both of them decided to walk while talking with each other "ohh tell me about it" Sasha talked to Amelia happily while heading back.

Amelia replied with a grin "It's about how a rebellious teenager broke the rules inorder to take back what's rightfully hers!".

After their talking. Classes started and soon it ended fast, the sky turned into a beautiful purple with yellow hue reminding us that this day where the sun will set soon and the moon will rise in the gorgeous dark sky where the stars never loses its own shine.

By the time Amelia reached home she greeted her mom which she is still not used to because she isn't her mother.

...Not that I have one in the first place....

Amelia noticed that she looks exhausted.

I guess I could say from work? I started helping her out from the house chores, I could only fold some laundry and wash the dishes and I assumed that she didn't cook any meals because it seems like she's tired.

So I told her to go upstairs on her room and assured for while cuz I'mma cook something..this isn't any fancy or any like glamorous meals but I know what humans crave the most when they are drained.

It is either a breakup or a breakdown,

I started to snap my fingers twice then the ingredients I want to prepare appeared infront of me.

And I did mention I no longer have my powers right? Haha wrong. I still have some left, but only a small amount of them left now that's why I can't get any of my flame to start.

So yeah I do the cooking and next thing I know is.. it's done.

I put the dinner on the table and started to make a drink for her mom

Okay please put in mind that she's is not my mom! I am not her daughter anyway but this body is.

An hour has passed and Amelia went upstairs to check up on her ...and it seems like she's sound as sleep.

Amelia didn't hesitate to went inside and observe the mother's features and the way she breathe back in fort, her heart is calm and so does the blood flowing through her veins.

"Humans are indeed such interesting creatures...they may be greedy, envious and has the pride. yet they still have the heart of affection and admiration inside of them...the problem is they just don't know how to use it".

Amelia was about to say that dinner is ready when she groaned and stretch her arms, and hug the pillow beside her while mumbling the name Aira.

It got Amelia chuckled of how such a baby young mother she is, but that moment stop when Amelia poked her cheeks and said

"Mom dinner is ready".

She opened her eyes slowly and start to rub them as she sit down on top her bed and stared at the cold wall infront of her and slowly turning her head towards me.

She just nods and smiles at me then ask

"Aira? Why do you look sad sweetheart?" .

Because if only I have one who can take care of me like their own child but there's no one there .... Ha! Who will take care of a dark child anyway.

" Nothing ma! I just got so worried that I thought you are sick ".

The woman caress Amelia's cheek and said

"You worry to much this is nothing...Now let's go eat the dinner you made".

The woman got up and first went downstairs as Amelia followed her, walking straight to the kitchen had her eyes starstruck on the meals that was placed on the table.

"Sweetie! You didn't have to go this far... "

Did I just heard a sob?

Amelia's so called mother continue "Darling...we didn't have any money left and you how can you make this? We no longer have such ingredients inside the fridge.."

Amelia patted her back to comfort her "Ma.. it's alright besides! I used my savings and I want you to feel better this way please don't be sad".

Okay I lied about the savings part more like a stealing part.

The mother wiped her teary eyes as she replied "I'm not sad these are tears of joy! Now come lets eat while it's still hot".

Amelia is happy to the being infront of her happily sit on one of the chairs yet her happiness is turn into a frown "Actually ma...I can't join you..."

The mother look at Amelia "And why?"

Amelia smiled once gain "I have something to do upstairs..and I made them especially for you".

"Aww thank you honey, but are you sure you don't want to eat?".

"Mhmm thanks for the invite though".

She smiled as Amelia head back upstairs

locking the room of Aira's door.

Pen...pen...pen...Pen! I need a pen!

Amelia has been searching around the room from the bookshelf to the bottom of the bed, to the desk and under the carpet.

No, I have a better idea.

Amelia stand at the center of the room and started to write the letters on the air, each letter she wrote started to light up.

Amelia wrote the final letter above her and a symbol after it, as she sat down and started to focus her mind backwards.

If the witch is right that this is how regained all my powers back then I guess it's better to used this than a certain forbidden technique I always used.

Only a couple minutes since Amelia started concentrating until some part of her mind suddenly became dizzy as her body started to numb.

"Ouch!"

Ugh It hurts! It has only been eighteen minutes and it has already starting to hurt? Since when I become so week?!.

Amelia started the formation again..

Piece by piece she started to get a hang of it until it hit eleventh time the formation broke again.

Two hours, my powers just only added by 23 percent how futile I am at this

Amelia tarted to focus again and again until she lost track of time and lost her consciousness as she fall into the glimpse of oblivion.
