The Ten

At the dorm, the food had already arrive as Chungha and JiU prepared for the meal. As they went back and forth in the dorm to prepare before Gray, Seulgi and Lisa arrives, something was watching them from afar in the shadows. The individual disappeared into the night as Gray and the girls walk into the dorm. However, the presence was sensed by Gray eventhough he can't make out what it was. Being an elite hunter isn't just by name or title, but it has it's own perks and it makes them extra sensitive to their surrounding. Staring out side through the window made Gray felt a little uneasy.

"Oppa?" Chungha who was next to Gray, waved her hand in front of his face, "You okay?"

"Ah.. neh?" Gray's concentration came back to Chungha's.

"Are you okay? You blanked out just now," Chungha studied his face which is starting to make his cheeks heat up due to the close proximity.

"Ye..yes I'm fine," Gray smiles and tries to put up a convincing one, "Just remembered something that's all."

"You sure?" Seulgi came up from behind Chungha and does exactly what the latter did, studying his face, "You rarely blanked out like that when with us."

"I'm fine," Gray chuckled and turn them around, "Now let's eat I'm starving."

"Yahh oppaaa," Chungha and Seulgi grumbled as they are pushed forward towards the dining table with all the delicious delicacies on the table.

"Let's eat!" Lisa exclaimed as the 5 of them sit down and started to take bites from their foods.

"Oh! Lemme see the lyrics of the songs," JiU makes a 'gimme' gesture with her hand towards Seulgi to which Seulgi responded almost immediately and giving JiU the phone so she can read the lyrics.

"Don't show oppa," Seulgi whispered loud enough for Gray to even hear.

"Yah, I heard that Seulgi," Gray puts down his chopsticks with his food still in his mouth, "I asked you about it already but you only show JiU?"

"Patience oppa," Seulgi wiggled her eyebrows towards the man, "You'll have your chance when the song comes out.."

"Bu that's not...." His response was cut short by JiU and Chungha's response

"Heol," The two girls looked at Lisa and Seulgi. "This is rather naughty isn't it?" JiU added the next.

"Naughty?" Gray blinked and looked at Seulgi, "What do  you mean?"

"Unnie shushhh," Lisa puts a finger to her lips, "There is oppa here."

"Come onnn what is it?" Gray was eyeing the phone and tried to grab it since JiU sits right next to him.

"Andwaeee," Seulgi took the phone just in time from JiU before Gray took it.

Gray started to chase Seulgi as she held onto the phone. The girls started to join in as they pass the phone around so Gray couldn't get to it. Gray was enjoying the time eventhough he could get to the phone with ease due to his enhanced features, but chooses not to do so because the enjoyment was something that the 5 of them shared like brother and sisters.  Laughing and running around right after meal wasn't exactly the best thing to do, but they are more into the togetherness . Whilst running through the room, Gray caught a glimpse of several figures covered in black cloak standing across the girl's dorm. Just as he sees them, they immediately disappeared into the night.

"Umm.. Girls," Gray stopped in front of the window, "I need to go out for a bit."

"Eh? Where to?" Lisa asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Remember what I told Chungha and Seulgi?" Gray addressed to the older girls as they looked at him in return, "I have to attend to that something okay?“

Gray immediately heads for the door and opens it, "Whatever you do, don't open the door for anyone kay?" WIthout waiting for the girls to respond, Gray dashed out and ran upstairs using the emergency staircase to the rooftop. And as he opens the door, he is welcomed with the mysterious figures he saw not a minute ago. Although, they are not so mysterious.

"Well there you are," one of the mysterious cloaked figure pulls away his black hoody off to reveal Jay.

"What's with the cloak?" Gray states as he chuckled, "I thought you were all hostiles."

"Come on, hyung," another one uncloaked himself to reveal himself, Taemin, "You probably have guessed us by now."

"Yeah, you're our number one after all," this time everyone took off their cloaks to reveal who they are and the one who speaks is GD, "You could have recognized us."

"Well I had my assumptions of course," Gray crossed his arms and chuckled, "Just had to make sure."

"Yeah, I don't buy it, oppa," Jennie sat at the corner of the building's edge as if it was the best seat of all.

"Haha okay okay I yield," Gray chuckled and leaned against the wall of the door he came out of, "So what brings you  all here? Our meeting isn't for another 2 hours."

"We know, but something came up and we need you to know," Jay took the lead as he approaches Gray, "Irene picked up something as she was patroling with her team."

"What is it Joohyun?" Gray addresses the latter.

"We were just doing our usual patrol through the city when two figures went passed us," Irere's face darkened slightly, "They are vampires of course but very different from the usual ones we fought, but my team and I chose to follow them. We managed to tail them, but they got the drop on us."

"What happened?" Gray stepped closer to her as her expression went grim.

"Those two figures attacked us and in a flash 3 of my companions fell to the ground," Irene kept her gaze down, "One attacked me and I was able to defeat it with ease with my Crimson Tool, but i couldn't kill it as easily as I thought. I stabbed at it and slashed at it but all it does was wither in pain and lay on the floor. I tried to attack again but the second vampire attacked this time and I barely survived. All I can do was block its attacks, it was too fast and too strong. If it weren't for Jay and Loco oppa, I don't think we will be talking right now, Gray oppa."

"Irene, turned on her beacon as soon as she ran into these vampires," Jay crossed his arms and looks at Gray with a serious look in his eyes, "The two vampires left just as I pushed it back with Crimson tool when it was about to strike Irene."

"They are different," Loco joins in to explain, "And way more intelligent than your average vampires, they can control themselves more and definitely powerful."

"We chose to not give chase and tend to the wounded," Jay pats Irene's shoulders, "They are getting treated at Nyxus as we speak."

"Are you okay though?" Gray approached Irene and lays a hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah I'm fine, shaken up, but fine," Irene tries to give an assuring smile but still her eyes showed shock.

"What the boss stated is coming true," Jay stated, "We're not the only best going into this mission hunt. We need to move fast and pick our team."

"Jay has a point," Gray steps forward to take lead, "This is no ordinary matter and this time we are faced with a new foe stronger than our usual customers. We need to be on high alert this time so let us recruit the best of the best for our own mission."

"Yes sir," The present 9 saluted their leader. Gray being the first of the Ten made him the Leader of the 9 strongest hunters in the country.

"Jihyo and GD will be active on the west side of the country. Irene and Taemin will be active on the east side. Loco and Seyeon will go together on the south side of the country. Jay and Jennie will take the north while Irene and I will stay to take care the heart of the country, Seoul. As the TEN it is our job to take lead and I believe everyone of you can do as such very well," Gray states as he looked around them. The same faces that graces the world with music and talent through live performances or studio ones are now before him as the country's strongest and most lethal hunters.

"And I think it is time for you all to receive your Crimson Tools," Gray's revelation brought excitement and smiles to the rest of the members. "Regroup at Nyxus and I'll join you all soon."

"You becareful Gray," Jay places a hand on his best friend's shoulder, "Don't go dying on me before I get married."

"Haha.. don't you mean me?" Gray chuckled and punches his friends shoulder, "I'll be fine bro, you take care."

"Yes sir," Jay saluted and turns towards the team, "Alright team, let;s go." With that the Ten dispersed fast like ninjas in the night as they jumped off the apartment's rooft top to the surrounding buildings.

"Right the girls," Gray rushed back down the emergency stair case and back inside the dorm.

"Why don't you just tell him then unnie?" Gray could hear Chungha, although he doesn't know who she was referring to.

"It's not wrong to like anyone you like," Gray heard Lisa this time. But the feeling of guilt creeps in as he eavesdrop on their conversation. He opens and closes the door on purpose to signal the girls that he arrived. His action received the reply he wanted as the girls immediately stopped talking.

"Sorry girls, I had to rush out," Gray arrived to a scene where all four are gathered on their sofa, "Oh? Did I miss anything?"

"Nope oppa," Chungha grinned and immediately dragged Gray into the kitchen, "You're just in time to help us with the dishes."

"Oh? Of course," Gray can't help looking back to Seulgi who was avoiding eye contact with him.

Without any further comments to utter, Gray begins to help Chungha to do the dishes until the rest of the girls also joined in. At first it was quiet and quite awkward until Gray accidently dropped a handful of spoon in the sink full of water which caused the water to splash on his face and Lisa's voice. "Ahhh oppaa, wae?"

Lisa who was surprised with such accident, decides to recuperate by splashing water back to his face. "Yah! Manoban!" Gray retaliated before the girls decided to help their youngest by also spraying water at their manager. They laughed and splashed and laughed into the night eventhough it was another work for them to mop the drenched kitchen, they had an amazing time.

"Take care okay?" Gray, as usual, reminded the girls, "Call me if anything happens." Repeated his usual words everytime before he leaves their dorm.

"Neh oppa," Chungha smiled and gives her thumbs up, "We'll be fine."

"Alright, just reminding you girls," Gray smiles and about to close the door. "Careful oppa," Seulgi this time once again the last to say so.

"Mhmm I will, don't worry," Gray grins and winked at Seulgi before immediately running off leaving behind a few squeals from the girls.

"Captain on deck!" Gray's presence was announced as he enters the weapons vault by Jay.

"Yah.. Stop it.." Gray shook his head before looking at the rest of the Ten, "I'm absolutely sure you all know why we're here so I'll just get to the chase. Have you seen these 10 platforms?" Gray addressed the red plated metal floor tile located in the middle of huge weapons vault. "Below these platforms are the weapons designed and only able to be wielded by you. They are designed based on the observant eyes of the Weapon Smiths from Olympia Base." Olympia base is the biggest and the main base for all the Vampire Hunters. "Based on your abilities to wield weapons and based on your performance in the field so without any further ado, please step in front of your own platform, Seolhyun-ah." Each platform is numbered according to ranks of The Ten.

"Neh oppa," Seolhyun stepped in front of her platform as the 10th and immediately the platform rose and towered over Seolhyun. The platform resembles a hexagonal tube as it's door open to reveal a Red Colored Crossbow with a pitch black designed bow as its head and crowned with a beautiful red color.  Not too big yet not too small and designed big enough for Seolhyun to wield. Upon taking her weapon, a small compartment opened to reveal five stacks of crimson red arrows for her ammo, completing a deadly set.

"Taemin, your turn," Jay gestured Taemin to step in front of his platforms. Just like it did for Seolhyun, Taemin's platform rises and opens to reveal to reveal two red gauntlets resembling claws of a beast, it's tips are razor sharp claws that could cut through anything. Perfect for a Taemin as his agility is by far known as dangerous and adequate.

After Taemin, comes forward Jihyo to her platform. Her platform rises and opens to reveal a whip like weapon. Instead of leather as ordinary whips usually look like, it instead is a long bladed weapon that resembles a whip, red in color from its sharp tip and edges to its handle.

The most excited of the bunch, Seyeon stepped forward with a wide grin on her face that made Gray chuckle. Her platform rises and opened to reveal twin guns designed with crimson red color and red colored trigger and pitch black hand. Just like Seolhyun, her own set of almost appeared after taking her own weapons. Red In color are her bullets. "Yess!" She says excitedly but gained her composure again as she bows and moves back.

GD stepped forward immediately as Seyeon moved back. His platform rose as he arrived to reveal a black and red designed glove. Everyone was puzzled as what it was until GD puts it on and moves his hand to reveal it's tips releasing red sharp strings. He swung his hands it quite a motion as he entagled a dummy that was nearby. With a flick of his hand, the dummy was sliced in to pieces according to how the strings had entangled in. GD smirked and bows with a smirk towards his juniors as they shifted uncomfortable. Such weapon with such precision could be even more dangerous with its wielder like GD.

The last one, the same grin on her face as Seyeon before. Jennie stepped in front of her platform as it rises to reveal a Red designed bow to which she welcomed happily. And Like Seyeon along with Seolhyun, her own compartment of arrowheads appeared in red color. Jennie happily took her archery bow and grins.

As the rank 5 through 6 got their own, The top 4 stood in front of their platforms to reveal their very own weapons. Irene as the 4th ranked reveals a red decorates spear from its sharp tip to its blunt bottom. Loco revealed his as two MMA fighting gloves with metal plated casing colored in red. Jay took out his crimson red blades resembling that of a samurai sword with its pitch black handle. And Finally the leader who to took our red twin blades from his own platform.

"Let's kick some vampire ***," Gray puts his swords' blunt sides on his shoulder with conviction in his tone, "Ten Shall Stand! Ten Shall Cleanse! AHU!"

Crimson tools may look like ordinary weapons colored in red but the truth is much farther than that. The red on its designed are specially made metal,  unknown to its name, that will burn any vampire in an instant. Crimson Tools are usually used on high threats like going against vampires from classes A - C because Eventhough silver burns them, but only a crimson tool can kill them.
