Ten thousand years ago, due to human overpopulation, the world met its end!

Because of various types of pollution, it greatly harmed the ozone layer creating the greenhouse effect.

The heat from the sun became unbearable as time passed by, and the world was always experiencing extreme weather.

Later on, the heat melted all the ice from Antarctica and drowned most of the lands across the globe...

And due to clashes of cold waters and the hot surface of the land from each country, almost 80% of the volcanoes around the world became active, tectonic plates were all a mess and suddenly they all erupted!

Even those 20% were affected...

Humans were able to survive. Some went to Mars, some stayed on the Moon, some took shelter with huge modified satellites, and some even stayed on Earth by the use of extremely thick gigantic submarines.

They also brought species of animals and plants with them.

While the people were outside the planet, science advanced even further. It was at a very fast pace in order for them to survive!

Even humans who chose to stay on earth had adapted somehow.

100 years, 200 years...

500 years, the earth became a planet of darkness as viewed from the outside.

600 years, 700 years...

1,000 years, the earth became an ice-white planet.

1,500 years, 2,000 years...

2,500 years, the earth slowly beginning to build bodies of water. From outside the planet, people are now seeing some blues.

3,000 years, 4,000 years...

5,000 years, some browns are appearing which are various soil formations.

6,000 years, 7,000 years...

8,000 years, some green colors were already visible.

And 9,000 years later, some went back to earth to see if the environment was already good for people to return...

They were disappointed for it was still not the case but, they discovered new species of weird animals and plants, and brought some back to study.

Another 1,000 years later...

It was the 10,000th-year after the apocalypse, people realized that the earth once again can already be inhabited by humans.

People then returned and freed all of the animals that they were raising all these millenniums that passed.

The Earth seemed to expand over half of its previous size, there are now 10 continents.

The animals and plants that survived and evolved on the planet before humans came back were called mutated.

The people who stayed on Earth who were considered dead also managed to survive!

Not too many of them though, they also advanced in science and even evolved themselves too.

They still have human genes and appearances though they have some peculiar abilities.

Every weird evolution of things was blamed on pollutants or chemicals that were dissolved by the lava and mixed up in nature through 'matter'...

People are now mindful of everything that they do, they've learned from their previous mistakes.

They are now giving importance to everything around them.

Every city ought to have a quarter of it to be intended only for plants, trees, and animals.

There are also three continents only for animals and trees, one in the south, one in the north and one in the eastern part of the globe.

Each of those continents was limited to have a maximum of five countries where people may live. Aside from that, they will also be the protector of the flora and fauna(plants and animals).

In the southern part of the globe, was the new Antarctica.

This continent already has six countries, unlike before that no one could live here...

As people furthered their capabilities towards science, they managed to invent or make ways for human beings to live in some extremely cold places comfortably like this continent.

People who live there were tasked to preserve the area, one of the main jobs of the people is to always check the ice level.

Scientists manage to invent machines that will be able to freeze the body of water at a whim, so every time that the ice level decreases and water level increases...

They will take good care of it!

The country of Agartha where Ceres came from, was in the eastern part of the globe. It belonged to the Continent of Saint-Yves near the border...

And her current location, the Jungle of Artemis once again, is the biggest jungle in the world. Also near the border, and it belongs to the Continent of Druid'sLair.

Jungle of Artemis is said to be one of the most dangerous places in the world, due to the fact that most of the large species of mutated animals live there.

After checking the book, she had a sudden realization.

The place where she is now was not definitely a joke, one mistake and she would lose her own life.

She needed to have the ability to protect herself to survive.

While still thinking, she unconsciously took the other bag. It was owned by the pilot...

As she was searching inside the bag, she saw a dagger identical to the one that the other guy had...

A gun, 10 boxes of bullets, six pairs of clothing, a rope, some protein bars, a mug, diary, and books of advanced science, advanced mathematics, how to operate different machines and vehicles, and a thick encyclopedia.

She felt that the pilot's belongings were actually less interesting than the other guy, so she placed the things inside the bag and put it on a corner inside the cave.

The next thing to check was the canister.

As she remembered, it was the one that his father gave her...

"Hmmm, as expected from my father's gift, even the container is very durable. I will check it out later, it's getting dark now and I still have one more thing to do."

Ceres went outside the cave.

She then filed the thin metals slowly and tied them up with the rope from the pilot's bag, she was trying to make a door.

Afterward...

She used all of her strength to move it near the cave's entrance and covered it.

Since the cave entrance was not that big, she was able to fully cover it. She went up and down, then finally...

The cave already has a door now!

So she went in, prepared a place for her to rest, and finally called it a day.....
