Chapter 4

Me and the two boys were in Harus room watching a movie. While watching the movie my phone started ringing. Haru paused the movie and I answered the call.

“Hello?” “N-Nakano? This is Emma, Takemichis in the hospital!” After she said that a million thoughts rushed through my head. “We’ll be right there!” After that I hung up the phone and me and the boys started sprinting towards the hospital.

After running for 25 minutes we finally made it. When we got inside we saw Hina walking in. “H-Hina! What happened to big brother?!” I said almost like I wanted to cry which I did.

“Calm down Nakano! He’s fine, he just fainted!” After she said that I felt relieved and we all walked towards Michis room.

When we opened the curtain we saw Emma crying in my brothers lap. “Emma cha- suddenly Hina pushed me and the two boys out into the hallway. “What’s wrong?” I asked. “N-nothing, you kids go wait over there!”

We followed her instructions and waited on the chairs in the hall away.

“Hey kids!” Akkun said as he walked inside our house. “Oh hey! It’s been a while!” I went up and hugged each of the boys. “Michis just in his room!” They all nodded and walked upstairs.

I got some juice ready to take up to the boys. Haru and Cecil were holding cups as we walked up to my brothers room.

“Where’s your mag stash?!” I heard Makoto say as I opened the door. “Mag stash?” I said in confusion as I tilted my head. “Ahh! Nakano! Umm…well oh see…um?- Takuya stuttered as I just shrugged it off and placed the juice in the table.

“Oh this looks pretty!” I said as I was pointing at the puzzle on my brothers table. “Ah! Please don’t touch that! It took me a while to do that” I quickly pulled my hand away. “Oh okay!”

I went out of the room for a bit to grab me a dorayaki from the fridge. I went back to my brothers room and sat in the middle of Cecil and Takuya.

“So they really are fighting?” My brother asked. “Hm?” I looked around the room to see everyone looking sad. I was confused but then the Mizo group started laughing which confused my brain even more. “Jeez, I was gone for 30 seconds, what did I miss!” I thought to myself.

“Sure they’re fighting but it’s nothing far from usual, they’re always fighting!” Akkun said. “Yeah! Draken and Mikey would never fight!” Makoto said.

“Huh? Who’s not fighting who now?!” Draken said as he waltzed into my brothers room. “Oh Ken!” I got up and hugged him. “Sup shorty!” He said while ruffling my hair.

“I got a watermelon, we’ll cut it and eat together!” I nodded frantically and went downstairs to grab a knife..

“Damn it smells! Probably because there’s a lot of dudes” Draken said. “Oh!” I broke away from the hug and went to my room to get the vanilla scented air freshener.

Draken sat in between Takemichi and Haru as I sat back between Cecil and Takuya. “Pah was sentenced to bout a year in the slammers!” I looked down in sadness. Yes my first encounter with pah was interesting but he looked like such a teddy bear I wanted to be his friend.

“So Osanais okay?!” Takemichi said. “Yea! If he died, Pah would be in jail til he was an adult!” “I know!” I stood up and everyone looked at me. “When Pah gets out, we’ll throw a giant party with lots of food and everyone!” I beamed as everyone nodded at the idea. I sat back down and munched on the remainder of my watermelon.

“So.. how’s mikey- before he could finish, Draken slammed his fist on the puzzle. All the pieces scattered around the table. “ARGHHH!” “Oh sorry man!” Draken said while lifting his hand off the puzzle. “No it’s fine, 3 days of hard work just gone down the drain!” Takemichi said with his head down. “But anyways I’m done with Mikey, Tomans finished!” As he said that he got up and left, my brother chased after him as me and the boys watched from the balcony.

“Hey!” Takemichi said to Draken as he walked out the door. “Huh?” Draken said as he looked up to see none other than Mikey. “The hell are you doing here?” Mikey said. “Huh? What do you mean?” “I came here to check up on Takemitchy!” “So did I!”

The two boys were having a stare off but my brother quickly stood in the middle of them. “Stop it! I don’t know what happened between you two but fighting is bad!” After he said that Draken grabbed Takemichi by his collar. Me and the two boys were pulled back and told not to watch by Akkun.

We ended up sitting on the coffee table and completed the puzzle Draken had just busted. After a minute we heard crashing noises from outside.

“What’s happening?!” I asked Akkun. “N-nothing! You kids just stay there!” I didn’t listen. Instead I marched right up to the balcony.

When I looked down I saw most of my brothers things was broken. “The hell!” I immediately jumped down from the balcony and ran towards Mikey and Draken. “KANO!” The boys from the balcony shouted.

Before I could get to them though my brother was trying to punch Mikey, all his shots missed. “Michi!”

“Oi! Stop it Takemichi!” Akkun said as he pulled my brother away.

“No! Let me go! They destroyed my memories!” Takemichi said as he was crying. “Hey, man we said we were sorr- “No! You guys don’t realise how much trouble you guys make when you fight. Your tearing Toman apart! And that’s just to sad!” Akkun finally let my brother go when Takemichi wasn’t struggling anymore.

“Michi?” I looked up at the balcony to see Cecil and Haru snickering. I was confused til Cecil pointed towards my brothers head. After I looked at it, I saw ‘shit’

After that I started to burst into laughter. Everyone was now looking at me. Then I pointed towards my brothers hair and soon everyone followed after.

“That’s gross Takemichi!” Draken said. Cecil and Haru had jumped down by me and we all were just laughing. “Hey wai- “Let’s go Kenchin! The shits gonna get us!” Mikey said while he and Draken ran.

On their way Mikey picked me up while Draken grabbed the two boys then they ran with us to the park.

“Damn that shit was funny!” Haru said. “Literally!” I finished off. Then we all burst into laughter agian. “Hey! I washed my hair okay!” “Yeah! I’m sorry big bro!”

After that me and the two friends went to play football with the Mizo middle squad. We were playing around for about 5 minutes before Mikey and Draken joined us.

Later I heard Draken call out to someone. “Yo Emma!” I turned and saw Emma from the night of the Toman meeting. I ran up to her and hugged her which surprised her.

“Yayy! Another pretty lady!” “Ohhhh!” Emma picked me up and bought me close to Mikey. “Can we keep her Mikey? Pleaseeee!” She said as I sat in her arms hugging her.

“Ofcourse we can- before Mikey could finish Cecil spoke up. “Yeah no sorry but she’s not going with yous!” He said as Haru nodded. Emma poured before putting me down then she walked over to Mikey and whispered.

“We’ll just have to kidnap her when their not around” Emma whispered to Mikey. “Sounds like a plan!” Mikey whispered back before Draken hit them both on their heads. “Knock it off you two!” The Sano siblings pouted.

We all carried on playing while Hina and Emma were talking about the festival, boys and other girly stuff.

Later on we all went home. Not before Mikey ran with me over his shoulder but Draken pulled me away and swung Mikey over his shoulder to all him and Emma home.
