Chapter 2

Tao went missing, two days later his corpse was found his body parts were dismembered and his vocal cords were ripped out. The police are currently investigating.

-Jaedan point of view-

As I was walking towards my classroom I kept thinking about the murder the police say that it happened two days earlier, that was also the day my instincts kept telling me something was wrong.

Maybe I should start trusting my instincts?

I shook my head and continued forward. As I was walking I saw Benjamin, I haven't seen him in weeks.

"Hi Benjamin", I greeted him

"H-Hello ", He stuttered

"Why were you absent for weeks? " I said him

"I had to take care of something" He replied

This is the first time I heard this sentence from him. I could feel he was hiding something.

"A-Actually I need to go see you later" he nervously said before running away. Why was he running? He is different from his usual self.

I just shrugged and walking towards my classroom.

The first thing I saw was Lisanne she has that mysterious feeling she is someone whom you would wanna get close to but at the same time someone who you would like to avoid.

Suddenly I realized she was looking directly at me. We were making eye contact.

Her eyes.... they've so.... beautiful

"Yah, Jaedan Scott!!" Colin called out to me

I snapped back into reality

"Jaedan Scott!! Can you hear me!!" He called again "Yes I can" I answered

With that I walked towards them

"Have you seen Benjamin?", He asked "It's been weeks since we last saw him"

"Yeah" I replied "He seems different and scared like he was running away from something like-

Kylo interrupted we only have you seen Benjamin why are giving such detailed information about him"

The teacher walked in "Good morning"

And he started his boring lecture. After the lecture ended he gave us an assignment before leaving.

"Again?? Why again??? I hate this teacher!!!" Shawn yelled

"Me too" Colin said

"Let's forget about the assignment for today and let's go to Blackpink's concert after school" Kylo says as he holds up four tickets for the concert.

"I'm with him" I said

"Okay but you have to be ready to be pushed around" He says jokingly.

My name is Jackson Wang I'm a detective and I just got this brilliant case of Huang Zitao also known as Tao.

"Aish,I'm so irritated!!!" I yelled

"Calm down", said Bambam my friend and a fellow detective "Tell me what happened"

"Every clue just brings up another dead end I don't know what to do"

Bambam and I were partners in this case.

"Here", He said as he handed me a file

"What is this?", I asked him

"Seems like there have been victims around Korea some had been stabbed some had been chocked and some had their heart missing ", He turned to me "But chords were ripped out"

I tiled my head "This person sure has a weird obsession with vocal chords"

"Sleep tight", I said as I closed her eyes

Stepping away from the body I laughed like a maniac the view was so beautiful. Humans are such pitiful creatures.

I looked at my watch, 10:40 pm

"Gotta go before somebody notices me".
