in this novel male lead was Duke and female lead was an orphan girl who was actually from a mysterious background and villain of the novel is the emperor

both male lead and female lead fell in love with each other at first sight after little bit struggle somehow they managed to get the approval of male lead parents and then they went to a royal banquet together where villain see female lead and recognise her as his childhood sweetheart/crush who helped him and ofcourse FL also behaves very gently to villain because of which villain feel the missing feeling of home from her . later he fought with ML for FL but got defeated and out of anger he use all his power an destroyed the whole world .

but the problem is the character I got time travelled is the most complex and villainess character

and also have connections with villain's dark past

actually in the novel when villain's dark past is revealed it is said that his father was forced into marrying the eldest daughter of duke which is Sophia who is said to be a bad girl. later after only few months a lady comes at the court claiming to be the mother of crown prince son or to be exact villain's mother. later after it is confirmed that she is telling truth she had become the second wife of crown prince. she also told a sad story with it that she became mother at early age so she got frightened and left villain in an orphanage later she ran away from her marriage and her family for his son and when she reached there she found him in miserable condition therefore she searched for his father and when she remembers that it was crown prince she came here not for herself but for her son

Sophia started burning in jealous because even after marriage the crown prince didn't even touched her once and because of that another girl her position is also at stake, she was so envious of that child because she thinks if it weren't for that child that women can never become a threat to her position so she started her schemes. she use to bully that kid . it got worse when that second wife of crown prince died. it is said that she died because Sophia killed her

and to add up spice author also made her male lead aunt so obviously she supports Male lead and make things difficult for villain

but there was also a hidden secret which was not revealed

that during the death of Sophia tears came out from villain's eyes when he learns her true identity

but her true identity was never revealed after that villain destroyed the whole world
