5. Its better to hide..

Back to pope room.

**sobbing** "Father, what should we do now? Is...is... goddess Eleanor forsaking us.'' saintness voice was cracking. Pope himself was confused. "What did she say ?'' he asked egarly. "she informed, not being able to protect and apolize.''  She said in weeping voice.

Pope - ''how long has it been since you last heard the voice?'' . **holding tears**  saintness "last time I heard her voice was decade ago.''

( It had been more than decade since we heard her voice. Before we used to hear once a year and these sudden words. What does it mean? Is she really abandoning us? What should we do?) A lot of questions were arising on  pope heart when he heard, "Holy Father''. It was Lorelei outside the door. She was smiling with tulip in hand. "Look holy father what I have.'' With small hands she showed the flower to the pope. "Ford gave it to me. He bought it from the palace.''  She tried to raise her toe and tried hard to show the flower.

Pope came near her, bowed and took  the flower from her hand. "It's beautiful and its color is pretty. Goddess Eleanor would like it so much.'' He pat her head. Hearing the compliment Lorelei was very happy. "Really holy father." "Yes" he replied. "Holy father I will bring a lot of flowers from the garden." **hum, hum** she leave the door to gather flowers.

''Father I believe goddess is trying to warn us. We need to inform other and find solution.'' Wiping the tears,  saintness suggested the pope. ''no, don't inform other for now. It will only create chaos. We have to close the main building for now. I will send letter to the emperor and other priests.'' He concluded, ''father isn't right to inform every devotee regarding the issues."Saintness raised question.

''Seria, you are right but sometime things are better hidden than letting evey one know...Don't worry there will be time when we will revel the truth, but now lets keep it between limited people.'' Pope tell saintness in suggestive tone. " Ok father I won't tell. I have to leave before someone enter the main building and see the statue.'' Saintness leaves the room.

Pope hurriedly open the drawer near his bed. He took out few blank papers and a pen. He sat down and wrote a letter to the emperor. He requested the emperor to set a meeting as soon as possible. He left the room in hurry with the letter. Few steps ahead he opened another room and enter. There was a medium box on the table. He put that letter inside the box.

**thump** A letter fall in a luxurious box. But no one responded.

...****************...

Pope waited for answer. Two days had already passed but he didn't receive any reply from the imperial palace. Other priests would arrive on few days. Pope felt that the emperor is ignoring the letter.  He send other letters but no response.

**Note**Ford Hale \= He is a friend of Lorelei and will be a holy knight in future. He will also be renowed for his swordmen ship.
