"Oh, you guys were here?"

"Mom?"

"Kei, why aren't you at home?"

"I wanted to buy ice cream"

"Well since Akio's here it's fine."

"Why are you passing by this store?"

"My work's just over there, wanna come?"

"That's your work, it's fine"

"And i'm not passing by, i'm buying something"

"Oh? So it's your break time?"

"Yeah"

"Well, we're heading back"

"Sure, take care"

"Mhm take care of Keira Akio"

"Tsk, i'm old enough, this isn't the last time we see each other anyway."

"Come on Kei~ you're rude to your mom~"

"Don't worry Akio, he's been like that since he was a kid."

"Eh?? You've been rude to your mom since you came to this world?"

"Let's just go"

"So? How was the search?"

"Why? Finally thought of helping me out?"

"What? I've been helping you out since the very beginning"

"You sure about that?"

"Of course, i've always been hanging out with you"

"Meh, i'll start later, so don't worry. I'll find out what dad's last words meant no matter what."

"I don't really need your help but okay"

"Ahh Akio, Keira, you guys went out?"

"You guys have guests, you shouldn't keep them waiting like that next time"

"Okay sure but who?"

"Ahh it's you guys!"

"Akio, what's the meaning of this?"

"Ahh the guys in the call earlier, I told them where i'm staying"

"Are you crazy?"

"Ahh i-it's nothing like that, I told them to come in their free times so they could taste your cooking...I didn't expect them to come this early"

"Akio! Kei!"

"We've been waiting for ages for you guys"

"I never told you to wait"

"Ahh wait Kei that's too mean"

"Haha...anyway us being here this early must've surprised you guys"

"Oum I'm surprised" I said.

"We just finished classes and tomorrows a weekend so we might stay for 2 nights and a half"

"Wow you all really wanted to taste Kei's cooking that bad?"

"Well, why else would we come here for no reason?"

"We want to be friends with Kei too"

All this talk..."Ok suit yourself, you guys take a seat and tell me what you want"

"Ehh? Is that really fine Kei?"

"Sure, these morons came all the way here for this right? I should start cooking then"

"Wahh although Kei's words are as harsh as ever, he's still a good person inside huh"

"Who's a good person?"

"A-ahh n-no, no one"

"Oum, so what would you like?"

"Anything will do please"

"That's why i'm asking you and i'm not a waiter...grandma, i'm borrowing the kitchen!"

I ended up cooking the usual anyway, I don't know why Akio over reacts saying it's the best in the world but it's just ordinary, really. Omelets, Sashimi, Sushi, Onigiri. Meh they'll feel bad later after tasting my food. Saying stuff like Akio was just exaggerating this taste normal, maybe we shouldn't have came here

"Wah Akio, it really is the best!"

"See I told you, it's a shame you guys are only staying for a while."

"Argh you lucky jerk."

Everyone laughed.

"Don't worry, we're gonna stay here this summer break"

"Eh? Kei is that fine with you?"

"Since you asked them politely to befriend me, sure why not?"

"Why do you look so down now? Are you jealous not only you will taste my cooking from now on?"

"Wha- what? Of course not, they can taste it too."

"Right? That's why I agreed."

" *sighs* Alright fine"

"What are you guys gonna do here anyway?" I asked.

"Look I brought my PlayStation, you guys wanna play?"

"Oh you did??"

"Yep"

"I'm in"

"Me too"

"Then so am I, how bout Akio and Kei?"

"I'm playing, though i'm sure Kei wo-"

"I'll play"

"Wait really?"

"Yeah"

"I thought you weren't good with PlayStations?"

"That's because you're dumb enough not to notice that I do"

"Haha Kei's too harsh on Akio"

"Wha- wha- what??"

"Kei!!"

"You've been winning three times in a row"

"How?!?" They asked.

"What do you mean how? I didn't do much"

"Didn't do mu- HAHAHA that's obviously a lie!!"

"Whatever, feel free to believe it or not, i'm gonna do something"

"Kei can I-"

"Stay"

"Right..."

Man, I don't know how Akio keep up with those guys. What's more...I don't even know how he can keep up with me until now. Imma start searching for clues.

Meanwhile:

"Akio, didn't you say Kei's dad passed away not too long ago?"

"Yeah"

"I see"

"So that's why he's like that"

"I mean they were close right?"

"I know right? It must've been hard for him"

"We'll stay by his side no matter what"

"That's great, Kei will have lotsa friends then"

"Today will be the start of our friendship."

"Right, what is he gonna do?"

"Looking for clues"

"Looking for clues? Is he Sherlock Holmes or what?"

"His dad left two vague words, he needs to search for clues to know what it meant. I tried helping him but he'd only just let me help him move stuff and not actually helping him look for it"

"Wow, you're relationship's way too different than ours"

"Of course he's my Kei~"

"Dude you're misleading us"

"Haha I don't mean it that way, I want to take care of him, he's like my little brother you know"

"Oh so that what it meant HAHAHA"

Those idiots do know i'm just next door right? I can clearly hear every single thing they're saying. Well\, whatever...okay so- *clank*....what is this? Huh? Notebook? Why the heck would there be a lock in it?!?

Ahh this is annoying, the key's not here...guess i'll have to find it huh...Well this is my first clue.

"Oh Kei you're back"

"I found somethin' in dad's bookshelf"

"Really?"

"Yeah, here"

"What's in this notebook?"

"Dunno, i'm searching for the key."

"Wow we really can't open it without the key huh."

"Of course, are you an idiot?"

"Hey~ i'm smart thank you."

"Nah, where are the guys?"

"So now you're interested in having friends"
