The devils emerged in the hall where Lucifurge and Plato's returning gathering was going to be held. No one was there but the janitor. Then a flash of lightning struck the centre of the room and azazel flew at the them with his wings shaking in the wind he had conjured up.

Lucifurge sunk back into her portal embarrassed.
Matt: so will we wait until he finds us and attacks us?
Lucifurge: he'll probably not attack us if we're all in the office.
The sounds in the room bounced around before all the devils were pushed into the book shelf. A shockwave broke all the windows and flung all the papers at the group. Lights pulsated from outside and heat like never before felt on earth radiated through like a soul. It felt hotter the sun but didn't burn a thing. It was as if a meteor had hit the earth.
Lucifurge, concerned for humanity tried teleporting the rest out to investigate. The teleportation was interrupted with flames. An orange magic circle brought them all to the top of the office. A smokey creator lay hurling fumes out. 2 golden wings of fire emerged and a bolt of yellow lightning struck the whole then the roof top. A man in a blue and gold and black suit came forth adorned in all manner of jewellery and silver.
Blaze: evening little bitch boy. Hand Matt over
Lucifurge: you can't win against all of us. Do you even have your vanguard??
Blaze: I could.
He set the clock tower ablaze: Labwratte emerged covered in feathers and flames playing an organ with 14 layers that echoed out throughout time. She sat there blasting a powerful leitmotif.
Blaze: I won't show you all of my vanguard yet but you can see your beloved Succubus.
He struck the middle of the academy with lightning revealing Jezebel in all her normal clobber playing a crimson electric guitar.
Blaze: she wasn't even resurrected with my powers I teleported her after hearing a distress call then gave her surgery.
Matt: how did you do all this in prison fucking wizard bitch-?
Blaze: I have my methods. This is my theme song it was made by Labwratte so my enemies could bask in fear of life from far away.
Lucifurge: you're such a pretentious cunt
Blaze: One of your devils nearly put a vanguard member of mine to the test that's a violation of my will give him here and he'll be cremated before a crowd of devils.
Lucifurge fired barrage of anti matter at him. He sliced through them and shot down every devil with hell fire. Just then Inferno emerged from the sky in a chariot of flames.
Inferno: Master azazel says to place a meritocracy rankings game between the both of you. If Blaze wins he is to be let back into devil society and if he loses he is to be destroyed by lucifer.
Blaze: with my whole vanguard?
Inferno: just you.
Blaze: should be easy enough
Inferno: The demons in the underworld find this more entertaining than putting you in prison. Barbarism has saved you.
Blaze: surely my vanguard should be allowed though.
Inferno: It's being put up to a vote on how it should work but when I came most wanted to see you suffer on your own
He teleported inferno Jezebel and labwratte to a cell aswell as lucifurge and Plato's vanguard.
Matt: can meritocracy rankings free criminals and interfere with politics.
Lucifurge: yes. In the age of demons they were all that mattered now they only play part of a roll in politics but still have an impact.
Winston: that's ridiculous
