Hatred

Zi got very serious. She didn’t know why though, it was just a game, but maybe it reminded her of the underworld. She turned her character around as a couple of players started to attack her. Usually markets were somewhat of a safe zone in the underworld, but maybe it wasn’t like that here. The group of players had levels of around 20. Zi had just started playing, so of course, she was just at level one. Zi then glanced at the chat.

“What? Are you gonna try and fight back? Haha lol I guess not”

Zi hated it. It had the same feeling as the other mocking demons in the underworld. Idiot mortals. They don’t even know who they are dealing with. They only act rashly cause they have a protection of a screen. She hated it. Hated it. Usually people wouldn’t get this worked up about things, though, Zi was different. Zi was broken.

-flashback-

A small girl with pure blonde hair and blue eyes stands at the gate of the heavenly realms. Today was her birthday party, and all royals from both the underworld, which was now nicknames hell, and from the heavenly realms we’re invited. People from the heavenly realms were considered angels, and people from the underworld were considered demons. The two realms had just maken up after a small war. The girl with blonde hair stood there happily in her pure white poofy dress, smiling to all of the arriving guests. She was the princess of the heavenly realms, and was very proud of it. She beamed every time she thought of it. She stared ahead as she notices the royals of the underworld arrived. She had never met anyone from down below, and wondered what they were like. They couldn’t be too different could they? Then her brother appeared to also welcome the guests. She had always loved her brother. He too also had pure blond hair and blue eyes. The heavenly realm royals were pure perfection, and nobody could deny it. The king of the underworld appeared with his wife’s arms swung around him. Following shortly behind was a girl with long brown hair and a pure white streak running through it. Her red eyes glowing with hatred. The royal family from the underworld was sometimes called the dark royals.

“Why hello! Welcome to my birthday party! Oh! You there with the brown hair- what’s your-“

The small blond girl could not finish her sentence as her brother put his white gloves hand to her mouth. He then recited,

“ We are all so pleased to have acuainted with you all. Please head to the ballroom. Please excuse her highness, she is a little to excited today.”

The dark royals then shoved past them and headed to the ballroom. A few minutes later the two heavenly royal siblings followed quickly after them.

If only Zi knew that this encounter would break her sooner or later.
