Chapter 2.2

With great difficulty, I managed to survive the day, as I was heading back home my heart beat was beating faster and faster every time I took a step forward.

I knew I would be interrogated when I came back home.

And I wasn't ready for that.I had to be prepared to answer all the loads of questions that would be coming.

I never knew my situation would become the worst nightmare. I wasn't expecting what was to happen next.

I reached home and I saw many shoes outside.

My world cracked when I came inside the house , there were visitors! I've had enough!

Out of all days , why today?

My mom was with the guest when 'how was your exam today?' she asked with a grin. And of course, I had to lie, It was good I replied. Before she asked any further questions I quickly ran to my room and shut the door .I needed time to process my mind.

Now that the exam had finished, all that was left to do was wait for the results.

No one in the whole wide world would be able to feel me.

That night I prayed desperately to at least get pass mark . But I had no choice but to leave it all to fate.

Morning came, I was so nervous to go to school . At least I wished if I failed I wanted my friend to fail as well. I mean, friends don’t betray each other right ? ….. Why in the world do I even have topper friends? .

They don’t have to worry about anything. They gon pass anyways. they pretty ,good in studies , popular.

And there's me the ugly potato , who's bad at studies, good at nothing, who eats ,sleep, play, listen to mom's lectures. Just living,… barely.

I collected all the confidence left in me and went to school. We got some of our results, thankfully by god's grace I managed to pass some subjects .

A century later…

We got all our results except for the one I performed badly. Cant they give all the result at the same time. I was almost dying waiting for the results. I prayed to God every single day to let me pass .

Or mom would start comparing all the people in the universe who passed de exam ,with me again.

How I wish god would hear my prayers

And what do you expect? Of course he dint ....

On the day I got my results , my eyes almost went blind . I ...I...I really did failಥ‿ಥ

I shed bitter tears and prepared myself for mom's....( u all know what happens when you fail the test (θ‿θ) what your mom will do .... especially Asian mom's(θ‿θ) I'll leave the next scene in your imaginations)
