Level 5: Shopping & Spar Session

Xyna's POV

The Mall 10:08 AM

Today was the day Tiff and I planned to go to the mall, 10 AM we went to the mall and planned to get brunch there so that we could start shopping early. Around 10:30 AM we finally found a place to eat, it was a simple Japanese restaurant. While we were waiting for our food, we chatted for a bit until the food was served.

After we ate, Tiffany asked me if i wanted to go somewhere first. I then remembered that this mall had the gaming store i wanted to go, so i told her i would like to go there first before we went to the clothing area of the mall. When we got there i went to the area where the sold stuff for The Legend of Demons, such as merchandise and some game cards that you can buy for the game.

After finding the card that i wanted to buy, it was a pet card, it was the latest addition to the game, but you have to buy them using the cards, this was a rare baby beast pet, and it seems to be the last one. I was about to grab it until someone grabbed it first. To my surprise it was Xyrus who took it.

"Are you going to buy that?" I asked clearly irritated, and he only nodded in reply. Then he started to walk away to pay for it. I didnt bother to make a scene in the mall so i tried to choose another one but after finding that, that card was indeed the last one and the others didnt catch my eye so i went out of the store and saw Tiff.

"What happend to you? Didnt you get to buy what you wanted?" I then told her what happend and she just laughed at me. Then she was trying to pull me back inside the store. "Hey! Why're you pulling me back inside the store?!" And all that i got from her was "to find your future fiance!" But when we got inside there was no sign of him, so we just went out and decided to go to the clothing area of the mall.

But before we could go that far, a hand was placed in my shoulder. I was about to punch 'em in the face until i saw that it was Xyrus. "What?" I spat out, i was still mad at him for taking the card that i wanted to buy, call me petty if you want but i've been waiting for that card to release for months now, as it was a limited edition version. He didnt answer, instead he gave me the paper bag that he was holding and left.

Tiff was already few steps ahead of me, but when she saw that i was way behind her she went back to me and saw the paper bag. "What's that?" I then told her how Xyrus stopped me and gave this to me and just left. She was clearly interested in meeting him so she was looking around to see if he was still around.

While she was busy trying to spot him in the crowd, i opened the paper bag, what shocked me was that the beast pet card that i wanted before was inside along with a mug of my character. Wait. A mug of my character?! How did he know my character? I then went back to the store to check. And it turns out this was the only character mug they were selling as the other characters havent been sold yet.

I was happy that he bought these for me but to say that i'm confused was an understatement. Was it just a plain coincidence? Hmm.

After that little event, Tiff and i continued our shopping and we finished at about 4 PM, yes we took a long time and i blame Tiff for being such a picky and slow woman. So we settled in a little cafe to take a rest and have some snacks. After that we said our goodbyes and went home. When i got home, i let the other maids to bring the stuff that i bought inside my room. Then i asked Sakura for some tea. After i changed my clothes and while i was waiting for my tea, i opened my laptop and logged in to the game.

Xyna's Room 6:24 PM

When i got in the game there was a message from Diablo. "Meet me in the Ruins. Let's spar." Spar? Is he bored or something? Meh, let's just go there. When i got there he told me he wanted to spar with me to see how strong i was. I dont know if i should feel offended or does this guy have way too much time on his hands.

There was one thing he said before we started "Dont go easy on me" gah! this guy is mocking me!

After 2 matches and we were on a tie but on our 3rd match, he won. I won on the first round and he won on the next 2 rounds, looks like i underestimated him. After our matches he gave me different types of advice, my mistakes and how i could improve myself then we continued to spar up until it was 8 PM, i even ate my dinner in my room since i kinda enjoyed the whole time.

After our spar session we were just talking i told him that i was already tired and sleepy, after all Tiff and i kept walking around the mall and Tiff kept on forcing me to try different types of clothes. It was already 9 PM when we said our goodbyes, then tiredly, i did my night routine and went to bed. I was already tucked in my bed when i suddenly imagined something i didnt think i'd imagine in my whole damn life.

I imagined Diablo's character telling me his goodnight..

"I enjoyed our time together, hopefully we get to do it again. Goodnight my dearest 606~"
